@@spunn_co i'm not certain about that. The judge couldn't just lock him up. He would have to follow due process. There's something else going on here. Two people can keep a secret if one of them is dead.
I feel the worst for that poor woman. The real criminals are these three. How does someone not know with security cameras that someone is raping her in court chambers????
So based on this, I guess Mullins (the judge) was upset with Stines (the deputy that unalived Mullins) because he didn't do his job in disciplining (aka - throwing in jail) Fields? This is what it sounds like. And apparently the DA is related to the judge, so he recused himself, which is actually the right thing to do. Man oh man, this thing has a ton of twists and turns.
A deputy is found guilty of repeated rape. His boss the Sheriff is accused of failed oversight. So this sheriff goes way beyond rape and commits murder? Bad cops, BAD!
If that's the story your willing to believe. Or, the talk around town is the judge was messing around with the sheriffs underage daughter. Which makes more sense?
The deputy said it was because he knew there were no cameras there. I'm shocked no one is asking about the other woman who also claimed it to happen to her who has since passed away.
Here's a better question...... How did the Deputy get the key to the Judge's Chambers? In our county there's only 2 people who have a key to the Judge's chambers, The Judge and the Court Reporter......... The Court reporter is a 57 year old woman.... Which tells me 1 thing, The Judge was hitting it too, probally at the same time in order for her to stay out of jail.
@@TheREALOC1972 In a small Kentucky town where everyone knows everyone, the rules over who gets what key are often ignored for the sake of convenience and getting along, especially when the person asking is a law enforcement officer,
A Judge was killed by a Sheriff in the courtroom? If so, then there must be some audio and video evidence. All courtroom proceedings are recorded. Maybe this event actually occurred. But even if it did, the truth will never be told because it’s ILLEGAL for criminal charges to be brought against any government employee. Yes - Even a Sheriff who kills a judge. So the evidence will be suppressed, and then the story will change in small increments. First it was a murder. Then it was a crime of passion. Then it was a misunderstanding. Then it was justifiable use of force. The whole process will take about six months. In the end, nothing happened. Communists control all recorded history and they don’t commit crimes; by definition.
So the Sheriff chose to look the other way while one his own was violating this woman and got pissed off because he got sued by the victim and the judge accused him of not doing his job.
It’s a real problem that police feel they are entitled to avoid consequences for their actions. Sounds like he felt justified in attacking the judge because he wouldn’t play along. That is insane.
Now the two former law enforcement officers can both be in jail at the same overlapping time. Unfortunately the judge is dead. Rural poverty is not only about lack of money but lack of education. It looks like the church teaching didn't stick to these two.
More Cop Cities are being built so get used to cops locking people up for anything they feel like. They will be for profit just like the prisons and they have to keep incoming cases and prisoners
This is exactly why our Founders never wanted organized police. They gave each of us arrest power known as citizen arrest and the 2A to enforce that power. The Founders were terrified to endow power to any individual or group knowing that throughout history that always ended badly. Each of us is a cop so time to disband ALL SOVEREIGN CITIZEN GANG PD's nationwide!
Just pure speculation on my part: small-town crime, the Sheriff and deputy are related, and the judge and woman accuser are also related. Again, just a wild guess. But then the news report gave us absolutely nothing with regard to motive, so it's better than nothing.
The county's case with former deputy and sheriff also named was on hold until federal civil rights case against former deputy concluded, which it recently did and he pled guilty. Now the county's case is off the hold status and was to continue. Sheriff was named party bc he looked the other way, failed oversight, etc. Former deputy who pled had ownership in ankle monitoring company to facilitate bad acts.

Very confusing. I believe the deputy she refers to is a deputy who raped a woman on house arrest. This deputy, Ben ______, was supervised by Sheriff Stein & a lawsuit was filed against Stein for lack of proper supervision. Now Sheriff Stein has been arrested for killing the Co. Judge.
A sheriff throws away his life and risks capital punishment for a relatively tiny problem. Even if the mentally ill sheriff wanted him dead, why do it in broad daylight with multiple witnesses? This is not making any sense.
Woah - you are trying to do a character assassination on the sheriff. The deputy abused women NOT when he was working as a deputy. The deputy Ben Fields was working a second job when he abused this woman. NOT as deputy. He punched me and drug me by the hair. I had just told him I wanted a divorce. He told me "I'm going to kill you and go to prison for the rest of my life and I don't care." I managed to escape that Monday, moved across the country back to my home town, divorced him and experienced PTSD for a decade. There are many good people in law enforcement but unfortunately the power attracts some control freaks who are only too happy to abuse their power. I hope your daughter is healing and doing well.
Deputy Ben Fields, the same deputy that was caught on video throwing a teenager across a high school classroom???
Worst news story ever. What happened to journalist who gets the truth and then report. Now they just ramble and still don’t know what happened.
They get their official information from police. Blame the source not the middleman

That sheriff still hasn’t resigned his elected post. Only in Kentucky! That why America is saddled with folks like McConnell and Rand Paul.
I still don't understand what the motive was for him killing the judge.
judge was gona lock him up
If I had a hunch based on everything, I think what happened was the deputy was going to implicate the sheriff during his trial and the sheriff was asking the judge if he could not allow those aspects of the case to be presented.
@@Dan-di9jd😢
sad sad
@@spunn_co i'm not certain about that. The judge couldn't just lock him up. He would have to follow due process. There's something else going on here. Two people can keep a secret if one of them is dead.
Example why I defend against kidnapping with all means legal or illegal.
Sheriff was being sued for not seeing a crime.
Sheriff shoots Judge.
Most likely reason?
Judge refused to dismiss the lawsuit.
I feel the worst for that poor woman. The real criminals are these three. How does someone not know with security cameras that someone is raping her in court chambers????
Knew the sheriff did something that the Judge would NIT SWEEP UNDER THE RUG.
Who the hell wrote this headline?
Who was in the chambers?
So based on this, I guess Mullins (the judge) was upset with Stines (the deputy that unalived Mullins) because he didn't do his job in disciplining (aka - throwing in jail) Fields? This is what it sounds like. And apparently the DA is related to the judge, so he recused himself, which is actually the right thing to do. Man oh man, this thing has a ton of twists and turns.
Their is more to this case than just this. This is a sicko judge.
A new Eric Clapton song, "The sheriff shot the Judge" will be released very soon. 🤔

He'll be in prison with guys he put in there. Don't pick up the soap, Sheriff.
As my daughter would say, the entire story is cray cray
A deputy is found guilty of repeated rape. His boss the Sheriff is accused of failed oversight. So this sheriff goes way beyond rape and commits murder? Bad cops, BAD!
If that's the story your willing to believe. Or, the talk around town is the judge was messing around with the sheriffs underage daughter.
Which makes more sense?

What a mess.
Why was assault on an innocent woman happening in the judge’s chambers??
I agree
The deputy said it was because he knew there were no cameras there. I'm shocked no one is asking about the other woman who also claimed it to happen to her who has since passed away.
Here's a better question...... How did the Deputy get the key to the Judge's Chambers? In our county there's only 2 people who have a key to the Judge's chambers, The Judge and the Court Reporter......... The Court reporter is a 57 year old woman.... Which tells me 1 thing, The Judge was hitting it too, probally at the same time in order for her to stay out of jail.
@@TheREALOC1972 In a small Kentucky town where everyone knows everyone, the rules over who gets what key are often ignored for the sake of convenience and getting along, especially when the person asking is a law enforcement officer,
@@CrabbyOldLady No they don't, it's actually against state and federal law for law Enforcement to even touch the keys to Judge's Chambers........
Corruption in every level of government these days.
The sheriff didn't like the Judge telling him he was corrupt and telling him how to run his department.
Nothing like making dumb comments before any of the facts are in. 👍🏻
Cannot make this stuff up...
I'm surprised the sheriff isn't on paid administrative leave.
Safe to say the sheriff was not a good guy with a gun.
It’s a real problem that police feel they are entitled to avoid consequences for their actions. Sounds like he felt justified in attacking the judge because he wouldn’t play along. That is insane.
Trump will give them immunity for these crimes. Be careful who you vote for
It's already started.
The sheriff's family put out a statement saying the judge WAS NOT involved with the Sheriffs daughter.

Terrible reporting. Anslee Daniel (who has a face for radio, not television) only made the story more confusing.
Now the two former law enforcement officers can both be in jail at the same overlapping time. Unfortunately the judge is dead. Rural poverty is not only about lack of money but lack of education. It looks like the church teaching didn't stick to these two.

So what you’re saying is that a corrupt cop shot a judge! 😮
Who writes these titles? This is the most confusing title I’ve ever seen.
You are correct: sheriffs do not have "chambers."
`
The county's case with former deputy and sheriff also named was on hold until federal civil rights case against former deputy concluded, which it recently did and he pled guilty. Now the county's case is off the hold status and was to continue. Sheriff was named party bc he looked the other way, failed oversight, etc. Former deputy who pled had ownership in ankle monitoring company to facilitate bad acts.
Confusing headline. Who wrote that?!

@@paladro - Why couldn't the writer of this title use punctuation? Isn't that the responsibility of the writer? Very confusing. I believe the deputy she refers to is a deputy who raped a woman on house arrest. This deputy, Ben ______, was supervised by Sheriff Stein & a lawsuit was filed against Stein for lack of proper supervision.
Now Sheriff Stein has been arrested for killing the Co. Judge.

Even if the mentally ill sheriff wanted him dead, why do it in broad daylight with multiple witnesses?
This is not making any sense.

@@GraceEvans-us7uyHuh? Nobody said anything on this OP or reply about that.
Woah - you are trying to do a character assassination on the sheriff. The deputy abused women NOT when he was working as a deputy. The deputy Ben Fields was working a second job when he abused this woman. NOT as deputy. I would expect there would be all kinds of repurcussions if Sheriff Stine disciplined Fields when he had done nothing wrong as a deputy. He did eventually fire Fields for "conduct unbecoming" but it is very clear that the news, once again, is fake.
