- Functionally and aesthetically, these are the best collars you can currently buy.
Quick note-this is a mid level/low higher level collar with respect to the sharpness and intensity of the correction it applies. Early phase training should almost always begin on a Star Mark collar for lighter shaping and acquisition.
When they were pups, momma picked them up by their necks so it is actually quite natural. If you TRAIN using a standard sprenger collar correctly, most dogs behaviour will change to hear the chain sliding and never (or rarely) get to the pinch/correction. My dog is like an angel wearing his. He did rip my shoulder out of it's socket when at a time when we were "harness" people.
What a beautiful corso! He held that place pretty well!
Thank you very much for an excellent explanation & review. I was on the fence & made the purchase because of the information I received. Much appreciated!
I am watching this for a second time, just bought the neck tech. Looking forward to using it.
Thanks so much. I have a beautiful female Bouvier who is so well behaved, great recall; but young and enthusiastic. She needs a gentle reminder very rarely but when she needs one it’s so important.
Just purchased this model for my standard poodle though I luv d other one too. Yes, bought d safety collar too.♥️
Great review - thank you. I was looking for reviews specifically to find out if the Neck-Tech gives less correction than the traditional Herm Sprenger prong collar. My Catahoula Doberman requires every bit of correction effect. I am disappointed, because I like the "gentler" look of the Neck-Tech, but I need every bit of correction effect for this particular guy.
Awesome ordering now 👍
Which type of collar would you recommend for my 2 year old lurcher who has a high prey drive and is impossible to walk as lunges at other dogs and lorries 😕
What size are those that you have in the video
They cut his ears wrong now he looks funny
the incorrect assumptions and beliefs of ignorant people are not what I worry with when my dog needs a prong collar or other dog training help. I listen to a qualified trainer, not to ignorant people. Rescued dogs are nearly never taken through even 1 obedience class, though they are about $100-120 for 6 weeks of classes. If I have a toothache, I go to a dentist and not to my sister-in-law for advice and help... see?
