Loki was a mass murderer and destined to lose. Even at the end of time, he was forced to make a choice that would make him the villain either way. Instead, he forged his own path and earned the ultimate redemption, at the cost of his own suffering. That's a powerful message. Whatever wrong you may have done, you have the ability to write your own story. But it may come at a price...burdened with glorious purpose.
At the end of the day, Loki is always the one to bring the war. First Thanos Army. Now Kangs.
@jackrieve6830 loki brought neither, he just ended up being present for both. Thanos has earth in his sights due it having multiple stones. Kang variants were also a threat even before loki and sylvie kill he who remains.

Loki got what he deserved. He’s gotten the throne he always wanted, but it’s a lonely one. He sits above trillions, but only in their service. He’s a savior, but lives in penance for all the people he hurt.
What he has done far outweighs any sin he could possibly of committed. Hell he could of pulled a full thanks and killed half of all life one this would still redeem him.

I hope this Loki will have a chance to meet Friga, and Thor. At this point he'll gladly meet any variants of them.
Fun fact, it's almost not noticeable but Loki's being aged as he is walking up (obviously we know that from OBs explanation of what would happen to Morbius if he stayed out too long) But Lokis being aged actually helps him. After all, something that is canon is that when Asgardians age they get stronger.
Loki is a frost giant so the Asgardian thing wouldn't apply to him.

@@midnightzgamer20k Loki was enchanted to appear Asgardian, but is 100% frost giant. That being said, considering that Frost Giants were able to put up a good fight against Asgard, one would assume they share somewhat similar characteristics.

This sentence made a lot of sense now, Loki ascended the throne and became the God of Stories, the God of Time and the King of the Multiverse
While Thor was born to be king of Asgard, but (original) Asgard was destroyed before Thor could ascend to the throne.
He didn't become the god of stories or the king of the multiverse simply the keeper of the multiverse. God of stories Loki can simply rewrite reality and manipulate the plot at the level of a writer. This Loki isn't independent as the chronological order of reality is dependent on his sitting on the throne.

You know, it took me until now to realize that the Time Stone is the exact same color as Loki's magic.
Loki when you started in both comics and the MCU you were just a god of mischief who only cared about himself.
But now you served a greater purpose not to mention you saved a whole lot of lives thanks to what you did.
You are no longer the god of mischief but the god of the sacred timeline.
His comic self actually relates to the MCU Loki a lot as well. MCU Loki exist as the God holding together the story that is the MCU and all of its branches and timelines while the comics 616 Loki ended up devising a way to write himself out of his story and become the God of Stories.
Not just the sacred timeline, ALL of them.

The problem is you're fatigued.
And why wouldn't you be? Since Iron Man 1 came out the MCU has been a multiple-property a year franchise that's never slowing down, never stopping, always accelerating, and never allowing for a single second of time for the audience to breathe before the Mouse is screaming at them to "see the Next thing in a month or a week or a day."
People are just Tired, and the quality of your typical MCU property isn't actually getting Better, just maintaining. The older ones are remembered more fondly because they were (at this point) at/nearly/over a Decade ago and a Looooooot of MCU movies/shows/properties per year ago.

I mean, you can't sacrifice yourself in the original trolley problem. Ostensibly the trolley would run over you and keep going to hit whoever was down the track. But it works here, at least. Also, nether answer in this one saved Sylvie. She dies with everyone as well. So the metaphor is middling, but Loki really did take a third option when faced with a sadistic dilemma. Loki was unable to contain the timelines as a single sacred timeline but was able to at least limit them to a tree of timelines and prevent them from being infinitely branching.
This will not stop the coming war with the Kangs but it will limit the number of them giving the Avengers a chance.

He finally got his throne. His final outfit reminds me of Kid Loki's from the first season.
So in reality Loki was burdened with glorious purpose, not with the one he envisioned, but with a far greater, much more glorious purpose. And not only that, he has probably become the most powerful being within the MCU.
I remember in Thor: Ragnarok, Thor said that Loki was incapable of change. This scene proves that he is very capable of change. This also reminds of a meme I found, because I can imagine Loki watching the Watcher watching the timelines.

And Loki is not a human, maybe his metabolism combined with magic allows him to process everything without a residue. Then I would rather worry about whether he will survive the hunger
