Just bought one will not buy a OEM one again! Damn plastic that leaks.
the damn plastic nipple just broke on my legacy gt. Temporarily fixed it with jb weld. Probably will get the mishimoto.

You will need a transmission cooler to add, but otherwise, yes this will fit.
when you install the hose stem into the top of radiator(nipple that came separately in a baggie) do I need to teflon tape the threads?
Does switching from a stock radiator to this one for a 2004 xt require using a different coolant colour on account of the aluminium body? Currently using green long life. Tia

Hello, an auxiliary cooler will be required for automatic transmission vehicles.

But my Forester with manual transmission, and the original radiator include MT oil cooler!!!??? What is the solution?
Exactly. I have 2004 Forester XT and I have this problem. He fails to explain this. After 2 hours of mucking with this in the bitter cold, the solution was to bolt everything back up and take it to the closest garage and have everything installed for $200.
Shannon Knott Funny thing, mine is an AT...still have those oil lines. Hopefully the garage will have a solution for this. If not, Mishimoto is getting their radiator back.

whew. I've been trying to get this done on my 08 XT 4EAT and it is much more difficult with the trans cooler.
can you specify what you had issues with? i'm about to attempt on my 08 4eat and any help would be appreciated
can i use the mishimoto radiator fan shroud with it???
