We enjoy laser cutting with our Trotec speedy 300 a lot. This time we decided to build a victorian dollhouse. It's a fun project when you have kids around. We hope you like it - Навчання та стиль
WOW, WOW, and WOW!!! I don't think I have had that much spare time in the last couple of decades but it is amazing to see what can be done. I am checking everything out because I have a granddaughter due in a couple of months and I have a nice laser system coming in about 4 or 5 weeks and if I get started thinking about this now, I might have it ready for her 3rd birthday:) . Truly a work of art.

Gracias Celina Izaguirre. Nos alegra que te haya gustado. Las Máquinas de corte láser están disponibles desde unos 3000€ hasta más de 100000€ dependiendo del tamaño y potencia del láser que necesites. Nuestra máquina es una Trotec, no son las más económicas pero en su sector son la mejores.

Las maquinas cuestan miles de dolares. Alguien dejo un comentario aqui y dice que empiezan alrededor de $4,500. Depende cuan grande sea la maquina .... por lo regular estas maquinas las compran las personas que las usan para hacer kits para vender. :)

How much clearance do you allow for the fit of 3mm MDF parts? I find there is quite a variation of thickness from one sheet to another.
For 3mm MDF we usually offset the slots where the other piece has to be inserted in to 3.15mm to get a tight fit. But as you said, the thickness of the MDF can vary a few hundredths of a mm from manufacturer to manufacturer. The best way to ensure that it will fit nicely is to measure the material first and resize the CAD drawings accordingly. We use a 1.5” lens, if you use a longer focal length that leaves a larger kerf use a smaller offset. Hope this helps.

hey what the sofware you use to put every pieces together into the board. Like you save space that sort how do i get this software.
As far as I know the files for laser cutters are designed in CAD.

Laser cutters are very expensive . They're about $6,000. My architecture school has one but they only let it be used for architecture purposes.

They don't say ... not even on the website where they sell the cutting files ... they just refer to small and large sizes.

You should of made it bigger and taller. It is super nice.
Size is limited to the size of the laser cutter, I think. That is why they are selling a
small size and a large size for this dollhouse.

@@recoveringsoul755 I'm not sure about the scale, but I did buy the bigger pattern option, the one in the video may be the small version. The one I made turned out fairly large, which made it easier to be played with. Thanks.
