I'm assuming the camera is picking up the whine from the stabiliser a lot more than the human ear does because that sounds LOUD and very intrusive on this video. Apart from that, this is probably the best 43-footer I have ever seen and I've owned three vessels in the 35 to 48-foot range. When you lifted that table I actually called out in surprise, that is incredible as is the cockpit swivel seating and also the amount of room on the flybridge is vast for a 43. This is one seriously impressive boat, Ranger should be justifiably proud of her.
My husband and I have watched every Ranger tug video on UA-cam, several times over, and the 43 is our ultimate dream! Thank you for showing what else is with the washer/dryer, I didn’t know there was also another fridge/freezer there! You guys do the best tours on you tube, hands down. Thank you for this 43 tour!!!
This Ranger is very impressive. A good first "big boat" for someone that's right in that sweet spot between a pleasure craft and a live aboard. I see so many "Yacht tubers" review a boat in under 10 minutes. You guys take the time to show not only the highlights, but the little things that actually are important to know for creature comforts and use.
I love that Rico is really finding his voice and becoming less shy in front of the camera after so many years of these beautiful videos. With every video your dynamic together has become more fun and light and yet even more professional and detailed!! It’s so nice to watch. True dream team 💙🐬!
Hello from France, I love that!! I remember squadron 55 withe a room in the kitchen, it's just absolutely fabulous, for this boat there are really lots of storages for the kitchen, I love that. Thanks lot. Bye. Bises à vous deux
Speaking as an American from Seattle who relocated to Europe it's so great to watch your guys' channel and see how quickly you've relaxed into American culture :) The Ranger is the Mercedes G500 of the Puget Sound and designed to last a lifetime. Great video that does these boats justice.
I ahve a boat near seattle as well. Soon to be permanent liveaboard. Many neighbors have had ranger tugs. Ive been waiting for a bigger version. Not quite there yet but close. And obviously designed by an actual boater. Very very creative and impressive. Now go make a 60' with bigger showers and fuel tanks. Add a desalinator while ur at it.
On line it states there manufactured in the United States of America near Seattle in the state of Washington. Im sure they have contacts with other plants near there. Most businesses spread out the load.
I almost didn't choose this video to watch as I associate Ranger with bass boats-- I AM SO GLAD that I did! This one is now at the top of my list-- a contender for a Great Loop and Inside Passage craft.
This boat has the most cool surprises I’ve seen on any boat yet. What a marvellous machine/home on the water. The creative use of space is just next level. The amount of work that must have gone into planning this little tug must have been incredible. This tug is just amazing.
The Ranger 43 is a very impressive boat. I agree with a lot of the comments about the 43. Another thing that I like about the Ranger 43 is having a gyro stabilizer! 🤠
What a cool boat. One a couple or single could easily liveaboard and still cruise the coastline at will. I could see this being used on the intra-costal and even up to the St Lawrence and down into the great lakes. Yes, the laundry facilities were a surprise and what sold me on the ideas mentioned above.
Ranger makes a nice boat, but I’d be apprehensive of using a pod drive boat on the intracoastal/inland waterways/Great Lakes with potential debris in the water. You hit/damage a pod, that’s a big $ repair bill (significantly more than a stern drive setup).
Fantastic forward cabin layout. Also, a proper shaped rectangular mattress. So presumably standard mattresses might be used to replace them and have bed sheets for them. Thank God. Great.
Great boat/ship! I enjoy you guys because you always keep it positive! It doesn't matter if its a dinky dingy or a 75 Bering... I've learned a lot about different boats by watching y'all go through such a wide range of vessels. Thank you for the positive entertainment/information! Please keep it up! Y'all rock!
This checks all the boxes and then some. The secret laundry with dry goods storage and additional refrigeration is simply amazing. Stabilization is pretty much a must and this gyro system rocks. Really like the forward facing glazing in the master cabin. You guys have really fine tuned your presentations keeping the pace up while maintaining thoroughness. Also, I really like the stats at the end particularly the fuel consumption graph.
This is actually a nice boat. The laundry room under the dinette was a great surprise. Thanks for all your hard work putting together these very interesting videos! The quality of detail is definitely your specialty in your style of video's you make. Rico and Victoria, have a wonderful weekend!
Ranger Tugs has really hit all the marks with the 43” but there are still some of us out there that want a larger boat but with all these features that Ranger offer’s. I hope one day in the near future Ranger Tugs will create a 54”-56” version of the 43” Thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
OMG I LOVE THIS!!!! This type of hidden laundry is now on MY NBBL (new boat build list) cause i HATE exposed laundry and i hate the combo units even more!! Absolutely love this. I cant believe how useable all the space on this boat is. Brilliant.
For those who can afford the lifestyle, I feel these tug style craft would be fantastic for the Great Lakes area in the warmer months, and then head out and south to winter in the Florida, Georgia coast, Gulf of Mexico areas. Thank you for presenting such well engineered boats. 👍🏼🛥️
Victoria I also wanted to tell you my 13-year-old niece loves your haircut so she went out and got the same style she really looks good thank you for inspiring young teenage girls
I think I’d switch out one of the galley fridges for a dishwasher (Victoria points?), since there’s another in the laundry “stash” area. Watching boating videos really gives you some cool looks at being innovative and adaptable, love it!
" you better check yourself before you wreck yourself". That made hanging in there to the end more than worth it. You make motoring so appealing, for a moment I was fantasizing about it. Wow that cockpit versatility! Then I came out of it and remembered that I move by wind. Terrific vids, guys. Always loaded with info. I learn a lot and appreciate it.
A++ for innovative features. Two observations: 1, the aft docking station cover looks too flimsy to support a persons weight -- it should do that. 2, the ladder in the engine department should be easily removable for unrestricted access for the items behind the ladder as well as gaining more moving around space.
She has the most cutest dresses a little anchors on her dress I didn’t notice until she was moving just right and I happened to see what they were and you know you just be blended well with her outfit but that’s cool great video
9:25 Love that pop up window bar area. Reminds me of those small little, cozy inner city, mom and pop, coffee shops. The ones with dark vintage interiors, and lost of recycled things and maybe newly made vintage posters, and like a second had leather couch from the local city flee market. Love it.
I'm the guy who's always late - September 25 - at least the same year. This boat is way too unique AND practical to not comment. I do like the NautiStyles style of videos. So, that makes for a good combination review. Thanks to both of you for all you do in the boating community - the boaters and the land lubbers as well.
Wow, now that flip up dining table, that’s what I call cool, I certainly wasn’t expecting that. What can I say, another great boat and another great video which is what one gets consistently from you guys. Thank you.
I really LOVE the Ranger line. If I could, physically, I would be proud to own the 43. Especially since I would be cruising up and down the inland passage as much as I could! The perfect vessel for that purpose!
I just watched this yet again and this boat just keeps getting better. 40 - 45 feet is a very practical range for a lot of people and I doubt there is a better cruiser in that range than this. No doubt it can also be made into an awesome fishing machine if you so choose, the rear deck space is there and she can get up and run when she has to yet still work well at trolling speeds.
Thank you so much for the tour. I have never seen a boat with so many thoughtful conveniences. It is too bad the average person can not enjoy the modern conveniences. The average person will never see a million plus dollars in his lifetime. Thanks so much.
The hidden laundry room blew me away. The amount of windows and natural light is good. Nice boat to cruise inner waterways or the outter banks as well. I like the lay out.
I love that they showed the performance stats on the engines/fuel consumption/speed. I was thinking I'd probably power down a bit if I ordered one. My dad's Bertram ate less than 8 gph at 10 knots which was what we cruised at night.
I don't see the purpose of twin engines in such a small vessel. I think a single engine would lend itself better to cruising in a more economical way. Maybe add a water maker in the extra space, or more fuel storage.
@@FranklinNewhart We ran charters off SoCal Pacific as far as Guadalupe Island and Cortez Banks 400 to 100 NM. When you go out that far you want an extra engine. Also in season trolling for Albacore on one engine to save fuel. We bought the Bertram in Florida and in the trip of my life drove it to California via the Panama Canal still known as the US Canal Zone. 43 feet isn't too small for twin engines although I question the need for power over about 300 HP each. I would guess the Tug's extra beam is causing the poor fuel consumption.
@@FranklinNewhart My dad would often do just that on slow night runs to San Clemente or Catalina. But we'd get just about the same mileage on two as one above 10 knots. A single is best with a full displacement hull in my opinion. That "Tug" is a semi-displacement hull meant to plane with too much beam for its length.
I've liked the Ranger family of tugs for a while now, you seem to get quite a lot of boat for your $$. One thing this tour revealed is why Quick gyro stabilizers are so much less expensive than SeaKeeper gyros, the _NOISE!_ I don't think I've heard anywhere close to that much racket on any Seakeeper equipped boat. Except for the gyro, a very nice cruising boat for a little over a megabuck.
I think Ranger Tugs are such cool looking boats and this one has a great lay-out. It looks very versatile as Rico said with the option of using it to fish as well as staying in comfort. Great presentation.
I really like the look of these boats. The look like yachts and are adorable at the same time. The Cock Pit is awesome! I love the moveable seats and tables! The window opening to the Cock Pit is a terrific idea! The Kitchen is awesome! Terrific design! Brilliant laundry room! The movable table is like a secret door in a castle! The rotating shower door is a wonderful idea. People who these boats must love them! Love from Vermont
another nice feature of the way the engine compartment opens is getting rid of the heat if need to checkout something after the engines have been running.
🤯 I really wasn't excited about this boat and almost didn't watch it boy am I glad I did. This boat has way more to offer and looks like it has alot more creature comforts then I was expecting. For such a small boat it offers a lot of bang for the buck. As always great video much appreciated for all of the hard work you guys put in be safe and looking forward to the next one.
Brilliant design for the secret laundry/storage/fridge/freezer space!!! I think I would have a washer/dryer all-in-one and add freezer space. Especially for provisioning for a longer trip. What a magnificent boat!!!
Yooooo we polish and ceramic coat these in the factory in Monroe Washington!!! Absolutely one of the coolest processes I’ve witnessed is these being built!!!!!
I love this boat! You are right, it is TOTOLLY the Swiss Army Knife of boats! It is ideal for inland seas and fishing. It would be so comfortable in Puget Sound Washington, for example. I love all tugboats. they are so adorable and I love the lines of them. Thank you for showing us. :)
This Ranger Tug R-31 CB Pocket Motor Yacht was: AWESOME, special features galore, spacious, layout exceeded expectations and I had to watch this tour twice as you made sure that we got to see everything in this amazing walkthrough. I guessed that there would be a washer/dryer but the design blew me away! What a cool setup and amazing boat!

State of the art mechanical. I've never seen so many windows for the galley. It feels like a cafe , dinner. This boat is fun.
