However, he never stopped her from pursuing her career and poured alot of money in it. She grew to be one of the most popular singers in the history of the Balkan music. Also she is a loving mother, down to earth person and isnt known for having Diva personality. Her husband was assassinated back in 2000. She never remarried and devoted her life to music and family. Also worth mentioning her songwriter Marina Tucakovic who is "guilty" for all of her hits that sadly passed away not long ago from cancer. They had such a great chemistry. Ceca is not only Mother of Serbia, she is Mother of the Balkans. We love her here in North Macedonia. The following is huge here as well
