Amazing, the soundtrack is a cool and nice transition from Shephard's logo to Barney's. For Shephard, it gave me the feeling of a story about a forgotten hero. Good luck with both games.
Sweet music ngl kinda gives the vibes of how rushed and confusing and desesperated someone like Adrian would be on the middle of a war he didn't even started and doesn't know if he'll live enough to see its end, a war that suddenly happened, a war that didn't gave any warning about its approach, a war that lasted only two days, a war against unknown hostiles
the war against the combine lasted for 7 hours. and when adrian was in black mesa, it didnt even started yet, the combine had no idea about earth at the time.

I promise you Gabe has not allowed this because he knows what Hollywood does.....i'll bet he's smirking about what paramount did to Halo. He's not gonna let that happen to Gordon
Don't worry, I'll do it. Lol, now being serious, I'm actually studying to be a filmmaker, and since I really like Half-Life too, I expect that someday I'll have the chance to make this movie (maybe a trilogy, if we ever get a third game). As Alexander said above, Gabe hasn't allowed it yet because he knows Hollywood sucks when adapting games, but I really think is not that hard and he would support if he saw the potential for something good. Adapting a game with such a good story like Half Life is not much different than adapting a big book, is just a question of understanding the lore so you'll know what to leave and what to change in the script without pissing off the fans, and most of the time the writer and the director are not fans, so they have no idea how to do that and end up with stupid decisions like, they would probably treat the Hazard suit as a mere fanservice with no purpose in the story or change all the enemies for dumb zombie soldiers or something.

Once this is done, the people of the HL community must remake HL2 and its episodes. Then we must remake Alyx. If HL3 isn’t out by then, we shall make it
In the end Shephard remained alone to fight all the mess left in Black Mesa. What a hero. Even G-man was impressed. Great intro song. Congrat's to Crowbar Collective.
If this theme won't end up in the game I ain't playing it. It's as epic as the first Modern Warfare. As epic as seeing Gordon Freeman jump into the teleport that's taking him to Xen right in front of your nose
It would be interesting that you are near Gordon and he sees Adrian at Xen, so he kills him like he did with the other HECUs at Black Mesa thinking Adrian’s about to kill him but he didn’t know what was the plan.
Fantastic art thank you for sharing it. Have you ever tried to empathize with Gordon or Adrian? I mean, do you really grasp what they ve been through. I have. I honestly think I take inspiration from that soundtrack more than Kelly Bailey's work. But do remember that HLA takes place in a different environment in a different country and fighting mostly different enemies compared to who Adrian and Barney fight in the Black Mesa facility. So the music will sound a little different to reflect that.
To be honest i liked previous Main Theme more. It had some sadness and honor fitting a true solider. Mixed feelings. But the new one sounds great anyway! Just that mood is not fully into depression instead
