Nice to see a local boy in action. You should get a crocodile hunter suit and get a catch phrase. Keep up the good work, loving it. There is a creek in Inala we use to catch sword tails in, Clipper St. down the bottom of the hill. It runs through the park .
Swordtails are pretty much locals now everywhere. I was talking to a older fella in his 70s and they have been in Australia's creeks since the 60s he said . 😂
Dope video bro, i ended up getting some blue eyes from the back of moona moona..and some gudgeons that look like katherine river gudgeons, very colourful but not firetails..
Yo that is awesome how far up the creek did you go? I’m coming down that way in a week to visit family wouldn’t mind going to catch some myself. Were the red fin blue eye or yellow?
Just go to maps on your phone and type in jc slaughter picnic area it’s literally as soon as you turn in to go into the picnic area there’s a drain out the front
@@olivia82789 appreciate that, I have seen them in kedron brook few years ago but haven’t been able to find the location again, I’ll probably try check it out this week coming and do a video.
I’ve got a spot that I get I can’t think of the actual name but a dark perly blue rainbows and there everywhere just take a dip net at night a lot higher of a chance in my experience
@@timmeh1384 I live in a tune can backyard at the moment but when I move in the next year it’s definitely on the plans, wouldn’t mind a massive golden perch

@@Dundeel. You should set up a native fish pond and put SARATOGA, AUSTRALIAN BASS or
MURRAY COD and use the fish you catch as bait for them.
