What treasures you have in your collection! I saw each of them many times separately, but only twice together. And I can assure you, the excitement nearly blew the roof off the theater!
Joan Sutherland is all heart and soul in every word she says. I love it, so humble, so kind, generous. Pavarotti as well. I believe Maestro Bonynge is still alive?
@@marcosmarin8930 You are a pr**k to suggest that he only ‘made it’ because of her. Who should she have married? Karajan, Bernstein, Serafin, Solti? Was he the best conductor in the world? Perhaps not but he was attentive to the score, the singers and gave great support in addition to being Music Director at several opera companies. He was an excellent musician and rode on No one’s coat tails. They enjoyed working together and made arrangements to do so.
My God...I'd never seen this gem before. Is there any more from the session that could be posted? It's marvelous to hear them speaking about their careers so intimately. She had the greatest voice God ever gave a human, and Luciano wasn't far behind, tenor-wise.
La. Stupenda...superb
A generous, and magnificent lady and voice...with humility and superb. What more can one say...listening to hear is a great joy.

Fantastic interview. One really senses the enjoyment they had in their art.

Yes he is - he is 92.
@@pattishephard5651 He only made it because he was her husband. Awful conductor...
@@marcosmarin8930 I guess your mother never told you to keep quiet if you didn't have anything decent to say

wasn't behind at all. Pavarotti about as perfect vocally as anyone could imagine.
Osito santo te quiero mucho ,amor de mi vida ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Very curious video. Some moments of awkward hostility with the crew.
La coppia perfetta
What are the opening comments from Pavarotti and Sutherland referring to? Sounds as if someone off camera said something they didn’t like.
