If you're going to be doing this type of work long term, get yourself a good pair of knee pads that's designed to specifically protect your patella(s). Your knees, ankles, legs and hips will thank you 20-30 years hence. Anyhoo...keep developing your craft as you have a good aesthetic eye for proportion - a rare 'gift' in the stone setting world! @tomthompson7400 it's the same principle as the quoins at the base of the cheek end. Just the huge amount of weight on top of it will create enough friction to stop it going anywhere. 🙂
