Fascinating….. I never knew most of that. I have a 2006 C-230 I inherited at 56,000 miles in 2017. It now has 70,000 10/21 but I have spent $15,000 U.S. to get it in good shape. I have spent so much and it is running very well, but when I see all the multitude of complex systems it makes me nervous to think of all the potential repair issues that could develop!
Some of the BIG fixes I had done were the ECM (engine control module $2,000 p&l) and the transmission control module (controls shifting $2,000 p&l) and the front torsion arms ($750 incl rubber bushing) plus many other items. I see now there must be many more computers I wasn’t even aware of. These features are nice but it makes my wallet quite nervous.

due to wear... I drove it normal I didn't do burnouts and drive like a hooligan hoon head... I cruised it mostly and changed gears smoothly.. manual is so fun as it's still rwd... in the wet u can have some real fun.... basic Manitenance regular checks on all engine components and always service between 7500 to 15000 kms ... or just do it at 10000kms for oil service and u will.be fine ...
