I like the green color contrast with the beige interior. The earth tone work well here. This car is keeping it classy and makes all the right upgrades inside. Well playud, McLaren.....
This car's front & rear lights are too ugly. If I'm spending this kind of money on a GT sports car, I'd rather get the new Aston Martin DB11, or the upcoming DB10 replacement. You can even get a Ferrari California T at this price!
You seen the P1? Had the pleasure of being invited to film a Purple carbon P1 and Lamborghini Aventador Miura 50 through the streets of London. The thing is insane inside and out. Miura 50 too. After that I fell in love with the P1 LOL.
If you're worried about being too light inside the cabin. Its okay it has 5 options so if you would prefer in the day time you can have it completely dark.
This GT model sets out to accomplish what the NSX could only aspire to do. Not the most appealing color, but an awesome option to those who can afford it. I could forsee McLaren trying their hand with a four door supercar one day.
More like it accomplishes the same thing the Acura NSX always did -- allow you to have Supercar performance in a daily driver -- without having a trailing pit crew.
I wouldn't even put the NSX in the same class as the 570GT. I can't see Mclaren making a 4 door though but like they say you never know. One interesting fact I learned recently is that Mclaren will never EVER make an SUV.
THE RAWKUS -- Depends upon what you consider the _'class'_ to be, I guess. A two seater that looks good, runs fast, and sounds great? All while not requiring you to have the forearms and calves of Popeye the Sailorman? I see _'easy to drive well'_ as a plus, not a minus.
There are some similarities yes but the Mclaren seems more refined in my opinion of course. You can see Mclaren's race craft in almost all their cars. I think if you really enjoy driving/racing the Mclaren will be the all round better car. Saying that, the original NSX was a beast. Love that car!!
"This GT model sets out to accomplish what the NSX could only aspire to do."Just like they way you can only aspire to make valid criticism against the NSX.
Mclaren is most perfect supercar. No other supercar does it better for me.. it's sooo sexy, soo fast, so exotic. I would buy it over ferrari, Lambo, especially porche any day of the week
It is a nice car but it is a shame that Mclaren hasn't used the active Hydropneumatic suspension of the 12c. Nobody seems to have noticed, actually people seem to like the bumpier ride!!! I wish people were more interested in mechanical technology. A 1955 DS Citroen has more sophistication in mechanics than most cars on the road today in 2016. When a car rides and handles well people seem to say it is too boring, they seem to like to turn stability control etc off and have the back hang out on corners and bump and down as it is more exciting..its also s..l..o..w..e..r....
It's a spends too much time in Florida tan , not fake . and he has been the host of MotorWeek forever , the first time i saw him was in a video from 1982 .
Probably only the US version , the rules are fucking stupid for importing into the US . I'm sure the big three pressured the government to make rules that protect their market share , and what better way than through regulations . A lot of cars just aren't available any more , it costs a lot more to build 2 different versions of the same car just to meet retarded US Standards for importing .
Gotta love McLaren a softer more comfy gt car that hits 60 in 3.3 seconds
Wow! great colors inside and out!!
When I first heard $14,050 I was like "whoa that's some aggressive pricing there! Maybe I can pick up one next ye-". Then he say's over a 570s. smh
acelakid94 haha😂
acelakid94 he hit you right in the struggle bro 🙁
Ha ha ha! That would be the most aggressive pricing strategy of all time LOL. Got excited too. (:

Exactly. As long as no one puts a bunch of _'Eddie Bauer'_ stickers on it, I'm good!
lol built ford tough
I like it A lot ..nice car for Mclaren owners who want a bit more luxury . Personally tho when it comes to mclaren only the 675lt will do for me
That's the most 90's color I've ever seen...
What is old is new again
The voice and the way the reviewer speaks, are also generic 90s late night fitness equipment shopping show.
@@aabidamn lol

That seems like a really nice car. Someone around the corner from me has a couple of the P1s. One is Copper, the other is Yellow.
P1s look like they came from another planet. Incredible road presence.
Green teal color makes it look like it was built 20 years ago

Is there room for at least one supercharger?

Such a great car, looks better in black IMO. Love it
I agree, much more stealth and aggressive in black for sure.
Wow that's a beautiful colour.
Jacob Chapman everything about it is beautiful to me. I agree on the colour

Interesting observation. Have you driven both?
I have heard what all the professional testers say about the ride of a 12C and the 570GT. Sorry if you are upset by my observation
simon ogden Noooooo!!! not upset at all LOL. Just wondered.
I would take a c8 corvette and save $100,000 plus
I'll be dead before I get one.
don't say that. put it out there and who knows maybe you'll get one
If I was rich I would opt for something like this next to my Lotus Exige S
The only thing I don't like is the exhaust sound
ofc, Twin Turbo
+Zen-Imogen What?
I never really like the look of the mclaren. They just aren't aggressive looking enough for what they cost.
But... It costs about $2,000,000 less than the handful of two-seater cars that have better performance.
You can always go for the optional extras or go down the MSO route. The HS is pretty aggressive looking.
There's not many cars out there with better performance than a McLaren. And the 570gt is a fast car. O-60 under 3 sec and 204mph.
These new Mclarens just don’t have the looks.
who came here looking for the track test 0 to 60 and were disappointed? LOL
not a nice color at all smh.
Why is he shouting
hes deaf
Why is Donald Trumps cousin reviewing this car? Too much fake tan bro!
It's a spends too much time in Florida tan , not fake . and he has been the host of MotorWeek forever , the first time i saw him was in a video from 1982 .
looking at this guy's tan I'm 💯sure he voted for Trump lol
Makes me wonder if a 650GT is possible.
Those mirrors are very oddly placed and very distracting. They look like they are in safety mode . Not good

Just so fresh and different; kudos to McLaren. If I had the cash this would definitely be at the end op of my list.
