You do realize that islander center pins don't have drag correct? That's the clicker you are using as drag.

i love islander reels i have the same one the squeaky reel is the only thing but its an easy fix with vaseline or some reel butter inside the handles

I'm in BC as well and will be going out to Squamish tomorrow for steelhead fishing. First time for me . Was wondering what River you were fishing in, looks peaceful.
Leave the Dogs at home. Its annoying when your catching a fish and a dog is pestering the fish. See it happen all the time.
