Palestinian factions united many times and signed unity agreements. Not long ago in Algiers, and maybe there were later "unity declarations". The whish is there, but in practice it seems harder.
The two-state option cannot work, given the 800,000+ settlers ensconced in the West Bank, and east Jerusalem. There are other reasons too. There needs to be established, an all-inclusive democracy for everyone who lives between the river and the sea. Where everyone can enjoy full equality before the law with every other citizen, and enjoy the benefits, advantages, and opportunities of citizenship equally with every other citizen. The harmonious cohabitation of Muslims, Jews, and Christians that has been the history of Palestine, would have a chance to be restored with a one-state solution. A separate Israel would continue its exclusivist, racist, supremacist Zionist policies, while continuing its hostilities toward its Palestinian neighbors. Not a good idea. The one-state option is the way to go.

Palestinian factions united many times and signed unity agreements. Not long ago in Algiers, and maybe there were later "unity declarations". The whish is there, but in practice it seems harder.

The two-state option cannot work, given the 800,000+ settlers ensconced in the West Bank, and east Jerusalem. There are other reasons too. There needs to be established, an all-inclusive democracy for everyone who lives between the river and the sea. Where everyone can enjoy full equality before the law with every other citizen, and enjoy the benefits, advantages, and opportunities of citizenship equally with every other citizen. The harmonious cohabitation of Muslims, Jews, and Christians that has been the history of Palestine, would have a chance to be restored with a one-state solution. A separate Israel would continue its exclusivist, racist, supremacist Zionist policies, while continuing its hostilities toward its Palestinian neighbors. Not a good idea. The one-state option is the way to go.
