For me the hardest part was the start... And the middle. Oh, and the end.
Same
😂😂😂😂
Hey Evan Im a 16 year-old guy and I just did my first big show today in front of about 200 people and I just wanted to say thank you for everything you do with social dynamics and it just helped me alot. Thanks again.
This guy probably splits his Oreos with one hand
+Syn :D
Lol
Not gonna lie it took me a whole year to learn this but I finally got it and it's awesome so thanks man btw love all your videos although now when I play any card games with people in not allowed to shuffle or cut the cards
Jacob Charo same
Finally starting to nail this almost every time. I've been practicing off and on for about 2 weeks.
Also Charlier is French. It's pronounced "Shar-lee-ay".
You are awesome. I have cerebral palsy and doing things with both of my hands is pretty tough soo for people like you to post this stuff for not only people with cp but for the whole world to see is amazing thank you
This tutorial is so good that I'm tempted to give you a one-handed shuffle.
This was so nice, especially explaining the index finger's role in enabling wiggling the halves back and forth to interleave them!
Also, now I finally know what's wrong with my hands - they're big, but not as big as they've seemed compared to these video recordings. I've been using my bridge deck (i started this after being bored during slow bridge games) and the pack is so slim (i.e., not broad) that it behaves quite differently :(
Thank you so much for your help, literally just did my first successful ones after only 2 days of trying, its not flawless but its the first time ive completed the whole move today, and managed to do it a few times.... i know you said you took weeks to learn it, but thanks to your tips i managed to learn it in 2 days
Thanks man!! I'm learned in two days! You are best magic teacher on UA-cam! ;)
Dude your tutorials are so great. I know these videos were posted awhile ago but I'm just getting into these card tricks and stuff and gotta say that you've helped me an awful lot. Thanks bro ^-^
Hey jarek ive just recently ordered 2 decks just so I could do magic you have inspired me im just starting out and I can do the one handed false cut reveal already im yet to learn more thanks so much
Thankyou so much! I have been trying to learn this for ages but couldn't get the weave, then I watch this and BANG I'm all over it. Thanks!
I got asked yesterday if I can shuffle with one hand and now this video is in my timeline! God bless YOU! 🤣
Please help my cards can barely weave together doing this and easily weave in a faro shuffle.
thanks dude, rubber bands help. DAY 1 got some minor farrowing. Not bragging though, loooong way to go
That is Awesome man! You have the best dexterity I have seen amongst all of the UA-cam magicians. It looks so graceful when you do it
you must have 7 fingers on one hand
Hey even I am just starting magic and the whole reason I started was because I saw your inspirational video and I want to ...RISE ABOVE. I don't even know how to shuffle with 2 hands yet the whole reason I watched this video is because all your videos r awesome :)
Thanks for the tutorial, it took me about 5 days to be able to do it and it'll probably take me another week or two to master it. For everyone who thinks their hands are too small as long as you don't have tiny tiny women's hands then you can probably do it. My hands are small and I couldn't even fit a packet of cards between my index and middle finger until a few days after starting to learn this so just keep trying.
I finally got it! It took a couple weeks but I've got it down
Such a beautiful deck. Definitely my favorite besides the Dealers so far
Starting Today I Will Be Practicing This One-Handed Shuffle. I will master it and one day post this on instagram when the time comes.
I started with card tricks a week ago and after 3 days I saw this one handed shuffle. I practiced a total of 3 days (each day approximately 2-3h) and now I'm so proud of me because someone said this is *not* for beginners. :D
can i do these tricks with full size plastic poker cards or do i have to have paper ones with smaller size?
Thanks for this video. I originally was trying 52kards method (he keeps his middle finger on the side of the pack instead of the top), and realized I kept wanting to naturally bring my finger to the top. Then I saw your method, and realized that it was better suited for what my hand felt comfortable doing. Though I do still bridge it with just the bottoms weaved together, I'll probably practice your method for that too, since it seems less likely to end in a card spill.
Thank you very much! I saw 52kard's video and I loved it, but I can't get the cards to weave. When I saw this video, he put the left packet up, and it worked! Thank you so much :D
I have some trouble by getting up my middle finger to the top before de mush up, although I can do the mush up WITHOUT using my middle finger in that position. Maybe I cant because my cards are too big, 9,1cm x 5.6cm. Awesome tutorial though
Ive been practesing all day now at work and watched the video a few times, and ive gotten to the part where i need to mash up the bottom of the deck toghether, thats the only hard part i got left since the last part got so much easier when i saw what you did with your index finger! That made the last part soo much easier :)
Yes!!! I did it, in one week, thank you for teaching me the one handed shuffle, thank you Evan
You explained that A LOT better than where i first saw it thanks!
I've watched lots of videos. With yours I cam e closer the first time. Thank you for your help
I think all of your vidios are good and watched every one and you do actually inspire me =)
You are amazing at what you do
I learned this from your tutorial you made a few years ago. I still slip sometimes, but I can get it about 80-90% of time.
U EARNED MY SUB DUDE! almost got it ! the best tutorial in youtube
I think I got this but was using a super old kind of grimey deck so it was harder to get them to riffle together.
Is there a way to do a one-handed swing cut or something like that? I've been playing with a few ideas for it lately, but I can't seem to find the best way.
One of the Best instruction i had seen. Thank sir ""
Best shuffle I have seen !!
The hardest part for me is interlocking the two packets.
I tried to learn this with a new deck. I ended up grinding up half of it when I was trying to mix, melt, mesh, and other m words the cards together
Nice deck! Daniel Madison Deck is the best!
Finally a good tutorial for a one handed shuffle ! Thnx:)
I adapted this into a mash shuffle, using a deck of sleeved gaming cards (easier to just push them together) and im trying to make a routine in which i take the whole deck in my left hand, split in in half using the start of a Charlier cut, drop one half into my right hand and flip it, then i do this in both hands at the same time (without the bridge) and then mash those two packs together, could you make a video trying to do this? i would always do a charlier in each hand then mash them together, but i wanna learn this in both hands aha
The first way you said "Charlier" is correct. The R makes no sound, just creates the unique sound from the E.
i could never do the first part, so for people having trouble or don't like the first part what i do is i start it as if i am doing a bridge shuffle but i turn the cards long ways grab the inner part of the cards and shuffle, then i put my left hand (I'm a righty) under the two halfs of the deck, i put my right thumb in the middle of the decks so it creates a bend in the cards, i then turn my left hand so my palm is facing the table or whatever and release the pressure.
anyone who is having trouble popping the bottom packet up here is a tip that has helped me. begin with the same steps that 52 kards has in his hot shot tutorial. this is an easier way to get you in the right grip to perform the shuffle.
Thanks helped a lot. Good video as always!
Miss these videos!
with very little experience i learned this in one day. i think it was easier for me to learn because even though i have small hands i can play guitar, classical style as well, so i'm use to stretching out my hand and fingers out really far. So if you play guitar, this will be much easier to learn. the only other card tricks i know how to do is the bridge and the one handed cut (the cut took me a week to learn)
joe clark I thought playing guitar would help me a lot for cardistry. I play experimental so I do use all guitar techniques known to humans, and believe me, it may be easier for that shuffle, for medium and advanced cardistry moves, guitar doesnt really help ;), but practice does !
Thanks for the tip. This shuffle has been pissing me off, not so much separating the cards into two packets but weaving the cards together. I've only been manipulating cards for about 5 months now so I assume I just need more practice. Take care and thanks again.
I from finally got it perfect today where u been bro
Hi :) i started practicing yesterday and i found somthing that i think will help people at the part of the shooting to the second position.
So the tip is after you do the small split in the deck and you now holding the second half of the deck with your index finger, aim your index finger to your direction so it will look like your doing half circle shape with your index finger and your index finger nail should be touching the bottom of the first half of the deck and than shoot your index finger and finish the split.
I found this tip really helpfull because the bottom of the first deck sliding better on the nail and it immune that when you shoot your finger you will move some of the cards in the bottom of the first deck, and also it make the shooting part easier :)
I hope this tip will help you guys .
And Disturb Reality , if you think my tip is good , add it to the tutorial :P
Matan Thanks for this man! It really did help quite a bit :)
Your welcome :) Glad i cou'd help.
+Matan thx m8
Will a bridge reshuffle the deck at all or is it just a visual finish?
Thanks
hey brah. do you have a deck give away also??
It took me like 25-30 minutes to learn it and do it once after that it took me a few days to master from over 3+ years of card tricks
Finally an easy turorial!
I found it easy to slide the nail of the indexfinger along the bottom card. It´s not that fast but you don´t have the trouble of catching it on the right spot.
I’m trying to do a faro shuffle too, is it the same idea? Like i want to grind the packets to interlace them?
I legit learned this in maybe an hours
Wow. That flourish is way harder than it looks at first
And this is why I subscribed to you guys :-D good job keep making how to shuffle cool ways videos thnx
Where can I buy a card deck like yours? Is there some sort of online shop I can order from? I would really like some new cards to practise card tricks on. The only cards I've got are the ones I got in a magazine.. And It's kinda old and starting to shred. Thanks! :)
Tips: flatten the deck and push it near your finger tips, then separate the packets, being sure to drag only your fingernail along the bottom, and then be sure to square up the packets alongside each other, your doing a faro shuffle in one hand, so similarly, you'll need squared packets. This move is pretty difficult, but these tips should help.
Haha I've got relatively small hands (S/M glove size) and pretty much all flourishes are freaking hard for me. I'm gonna keep at it though.
I thought I had small hands too, a few days of practicing it and u'll get the hang of getting the two packets between your fingers, then the rest isn't too hard :)
A common excuse keep practice up and trust me you will get it
I have big hands but i can't do any dribbles or anything cause i don't have the finger strength.
You should try to get a bridge size deck to learn with.
Ok.
Could you do a remake of the cobra cut
Great tutorial
I have a question .On your approach anexity uplaods. What tricks are you doing? you never show that part.
Got REALLY small hands ..and its nearly impossible to hold a pack of cards between my middle finger and my pinky.
just not space enough between there. but STILL not impossible,
you just need to learn to combine the movement of loosing grip with ur pinky, moving up your ringfinger on the side of the deck and moving your middle finger to the top of the pack ( time for this is 3:16)
pretty hard but possible :D
everything else is not that hard with a bit of training
where do u get your decks cause i get my bysical decks from amazon
i love the madison rounders!!!
I'm thinking about trying this out with a little travel deck of playing cards that is only like 2"x1.5"
I usually just do a few onehand cuts as they are easier and acheve pretty much the snae thing. Npt as cool thought.
#throwback.... What an amazing tutorial.
Jarek you should do a tutorial on hypnotism. Would be great!
jarek you are so awesome!!
I keep ending up pulling a card up when I shoot up from the top half with my finger any tips?
Finally thanks you are the best
could you start with a knuckle cut coz i find that easier and you do say charlier right
This is really cool. You should do a tutorial
Obvious Troll is Obvious
You get the coolest cards
Just for curiosity, what size are your hands, from the base to the tip of middle fingers?
dude your awesome I enjoy your videos very much! your the person that taught me every thing I know about magic;) thank you! for every thing!
any tips on how to do the weaving part i can do about half of it but the others just wont weave
I'm unsure what you mean by 'shoot the deck upwards'? Do you mean push up, or just flick your hand, or...?
Hi,Jerek1:20 I am your biggest fan and I really like your magic tricks.
Very nice 1 already tryed to learned once.. but its to hard!
Dude can you make a video on how to throw a card through a glass window like Stuart edge did?
would a knuckle cut be easier to get into the parallel position?
I'm having issues right when I shoot the flying half of the deck up. My index finger keeps dragging the back card of the base deck up along with the flying deck, which gets in the way when I try to put the flying deck on top of the base deck. I can't help but feel like there's something I'm doing differently to cause this. Any insight? To help understand, I labeled the half of the deck that you break off the "flying deck" and the half that remains in your middle - pinky fingers the "base deck"
every time i try and shoot the cards up either the middle chunk of the top half fall's or 2 cards from the bottom half turn up as i shoot the pack up. Then on the off chance that i actually shoot the deck up properly its impossible for me to pharrow the cards togeather, they go in 10-30 card chuncks if atall. Tips?
Could you please do an updated tutorial of the pass?
Who is more powerfull trick ambitios card routine or david blaine hand sandwich?
Hi J thank for your video i learn many magic card trick from u, thx again
