The Zarrow Shuffle is arguably one of the greatest false shuffles ever devised. It cleverly simulates an ordinary tabled riffle shuffle while maintaining the complete order of the deck. This is an advanced technique and will take a good deal of practice to learn well, but it has a lot of applications and is well worth it.
doesnt matter, the idea is similar. plus zarrow shuffle is the only move that travelled from magic world to the gambling world and gamblers use it is a different way than herb zarrow
+52Kards, I really appreciate your words in the intro, about getting better not just with the videography, but as a teacher. :-) Cool tutorial, and thanks! :-)
I remember you uploading those early videos and for the time you were one of the best with the tutorials. Still are in fact. So happy you're still up and running after all those years. You should make a small video on the up-the-ladder shuffle. That was a super smooth false shuffle.
tbh this is one of the best tutorials out there and im thankful for this since it is also rlly easy to learn and get used to also whenever i do a triumph i dont even hold a break between the shuffles i just dont see a reason for it idk maybe im stupid
Nathan Kirkwood I know that his name is Asad. The commenter said "Thank you, Andy". The commenter's name is Andrew, and Andy is short for Andrew. He is saying it just like you would in a letter, email, note, etc., as a UA-cam comment is just that - a form of writing to someone.
When performing the Zarrow shuffle do not pull up and slide in, you need to rotate the hands, by rotation the hands it removes the "click" sound and stops the "lift" and push in; results: a smooth and realistic false shuffle....
One more request is as you've made a tutorial on sailing cards, please do a Tutorial on Second Deal or Bottom deal. I want to hear some more intricate points on it to make it more concealed and natural.
You've come a long way my friend. Congrats on your success...and as a professional gambler who prides himself on false shuffles, cuts and deals...I must admit, your Zarrow has become flawless and invisible.
Just found a totally burnable version of zarrow on vanishinginc , taught by Doug Edwards and that one looks so invisible , bdw asad u r smooth as hell in zarrow
Saw the same shuffle on the show "Pen & Tellers - Fool us", the magican did it so badly that i spotted it without even knowing this methode. Thanks for the video !
There is a suggestion here for you Asad that whenever you will produce your mint 2 please make 'SEA BLUE Mint' or 'CANDY GREEN Mint' my favourite. It will be very nice
Hey. My Q: what kind of card mat are you(is he) using? u ordered one but the surface was too slippery. havent found a smooth material thats suitable yet. velour ??Thanks for helping out :)
Question: This shuffle will have angle issue If audience sit right in front of you right ? Cos the camera angle in this video is standing POV. when practice with mirror on table in front of me its look obvious. It look great when viewer is in standing position tho.
I saw that at a casino here in Wisconsin. The dealer riffled the cards, pushed them together and then pulled them apart without completing the riffle. Not once, but twice. Everyone at that table lost on the next hand and left the table, which then closed down. Next time I'm going to videotape with my cellphone in my breast pocket.
Whenever I see someone turn the deck sideways like that, I know it's fake shuffling, because no one actually shuffles like that. I deny that it simulates an ordinary table riffle shuffle, since riffle shuffles, among regular people and people who are familiar with cards but aren't sharks or magicians, happen with the thumbs riffling on the short edges and the hands hovering over both packets.
Veritas A tabled riffle shuffle is not always a false shuffle... The in the hands method I believe you’re describing is a variation of the tabled shuffle, not the other way round...
you don't know anything, so don't comment about it. this is the shuffle that all professionals use. it is the way it is done in casinos, and pretty much anywhere that has some kind of legitimacy.
Robert Glazier This is the exact model he uses. It’s called a Magic Surface, and it’s very expensive. I would recommend a cheaper one if you’re newer to magic. Just search for “close up pad” and you’ll get loads of results. www.dananddave.com/products/magic-surface
I don't understand. He's taking half the deck from the bottom and then putting it between the top card and the top half which ultimately ends up as a cut, so how do the cards all stay in the same order?
For me the greatest false shuffle is definitively the truffle shuffle and not this shuffle cauz to do the Zarrow shuffle you MUST have a table unlike the truffle shuffle.
I always lift the deck when squaring up to cover it up from more angles. You did the shuffle beautifully in the intro.
But what does Putin do?
TheRussianGenius I
TheRussianGenius yes i agree with u
diskobic 🤣
Hello guys this is the russian genius

52Kards technically it’s not Zarrow shuffle. Zarrow shuffle utilizes the center block

Still my favorite because this move really put you on the map with that mismag contest. I remember discovering you through that contest way back.

I think the zarrow was one of your first videos....this takes me back :)

Looks good, I will be practising it all day tomorrow thank you Andy
Luke Spademan Are you Joking or Dumb?.... Can't figure it out,

@@lukespademan530 I thought Cody died ? Lol
Excellent tutorial! I paid for an online download to learn this initially, but your method is much better and easier to do! Thanks!
Very nice execution my friend. I absolutely love this shuffle when using stack work.
Finally, you have posted a video
When performing the Zarrow shuffle do not pull up and slide in, you need to rotate the hands, by rotation the hands it removes the "click" sound and stops the "lift" and push in; results: a smooth and realistic false shuffle....
That's an excellent video. How about a similar video on the push through shuffle?
Much better and no CLICK CLACK needed! You're GOOD you!!!!
Awsome....was looking for a decent looking false shuffle that retains full deck order
Aka Z 8 crush because of the misty worm
Thank you for this video, first try on this false shuffle, good explanation and visual! You're really likeable, everything is nice in your video 👍👍

I agree. although, he should use a little more fake resistance when doing a zarrow.
If you need to cheat you're no professional gambler, dude. You're a fucking thief.
For better sound quality it sounds like you could use some foam on the walls or something to stop echo. Otherwise another great video
Just found a totally burnable version of zarrow on vanishinginc , taught by Doug Edwards and that one looks so invisible , bdw asad u r smooth as hell in zarrow
This is a really cool false shuffle
What a brilliant lesson, thanks very much 👍
Saw the same shuffle on the show "Pen & Tellers - Fool us", the magican did it so badly that i spotted it without even knowing this methode. Thanks for the video !

Great tutorial! Thank you!
Very good tutorial.
Could you maybe do another tutorial on the classic pass, Asad?
Yeah please do.
There is a suggestion here for you Asad that whenever you will produce your mint 2 please make 'SEA BLUE Mint' or 'CANDY GREEN Mint' my favourite. It will be very nice
Great tutorial. Thanks

Man awesome Video, thanks so much!
Love your videos... Keep it up ...
Thank you!
really excellent!
What cards would you recommend? What cards where used in the demo? enjoyed the tutorial👍👍👍
Great video. Random question. Do you have any idea where you got your ring with the Greek key pattern on it?
Will that make you do the Zarrow better if you buy one lol
looks like top card will be with right half instead of left half.
It truly does look flaw less when done right. But is there a way to incorporate that into a color change
I know this is five years late, but how do you think this shuffle compares to the Push-Through shuffle?
:)

You do it well.
Great tutorial. Thanks :)
Amazing👍👍
Dude you are the best
Good one
With a name like Zarrow Shuffle, it has to be good.
This is Jon dorenbos shuffle 👍
Honestly, it's so easy to spot...
Where did you get that felt board for performing tricks?
make more videos like this please! !!!!!
When are new Mint playing cards coming out?
GREAT !
Hey Asad! i was wondering when the black mint deck would release. Will it be soon or around next year?
If we don’t get some new Mint news soon, I’ll be forced to sacrifice the deck I won from you last Fall to the gods.
ASAD - for the love of God ... when are the Mints 2.0 coming out??!! 😭
Can you restore it in 6 faro shuffles or less?
What are those mats called? I need one badly.
Make a new Riffle Shuffle tutorial!
Whenever I see someone turn the deck sideways like that, I know it's fake shuffling, because no one actually shuffles like that. DO A SECOND DEAL TUTORIAL

maybe make the top packet more cards than the bottom one makes it easier
Jump to minute 2:30
Tuyệt vời 😍😍😍
Tut at 2:20
I want a playing cards
I'm still confused. If you're lifting one card to have the other half slide underneath it, wouldn't that top card now be out of place?
same thing
Gooood
What cards do you use?
music in the video?
My favorite false shuffle is the Truffle Shuffle 2.0 (not the original but Karl Heins improved version)
Your ring always changes
Video start at 2:29
Azzam Abdullah no, the video starts at 0:00. you really need to learn how youtube works

There is a flaw if i watch it by using 0.25x speed
The best version is by daniel madison. Check it
I assume you are talking about the Madison coat shuffle. it is not more convincing than the zarrow. he eves says that in his book HTCAC.
For me the greatest false shuffle is definitively the truffle shuffle and not this shuffle cauz to do the Zarrow shuffle you MUST have a table unlike the truffle shuffle.
4rd!!!!
