I called my LS dealerWCT, and gave them the ok on a new MT 357 cab power clutch. When I got home and watched the latest video, it’s about LS tractors. Must be some kind of karma there. We appreciate all your efforts that you do to inspire and entertain us. God Bless Scott
The tractor yard is a great dealer. I have never bought a tractor there. But stopped to check out tym. They are exactly what you would want from a tractor dealer.
Good morning Brock. I really shouldn't even comment on this video but I'm allowed to wish. I have a 2007 John Deere 2305 that makes me happy every day that I operate it but after hearing the prices and packages available on an LS tractor if I were in the market for a new tractor I would definitely be looking these over. God bless and have a wonderful day. 👍👍🙂
If you aren't set on something new, seriously consider talking to Paul and seeing if he's got something vintage in that mid size range with no emissions control. Earlier this month I fixed up our 1962 Deere 3010. Had it lifting 1700Lb rounds just yesterday, that old girl is rated 52HP at the drawbar and almost 60HP PTO. You would get a bigger, heavier unit, with more horsepower and without the proprietary electronics that you need a dealer to service. You'd be able to service the unit yourself and that would add another bit of content. I've noticed a lof of folks out here, though they may have the 1M combines 9 series Deeres, they still run these old units as a main utility machine. Side bonus - you are EMP proof! Thanks for the video !
Nice machines. I've been researching my next tractor too. Closest LS is about 2 hours from me. RK / TYM & Kioti are in my sights right now. Deere is not even worth considering anymore.
Good morning Brock. It was nice to see you looking at LS. I've had an LS MT2 series tractor for two years now and I can honestly say nothing bad about it. Their dealer network really seems to be growing. Maybe LS would be interested in some kind of partnership with your channel?
Very good video Brock! Funny that my last video was at an LS dealership too. I'll need to do another one sometime and get the dealer on camera. *Keep on tractoring!*
I listened to your video on the way to the dealership. It is a funny coincidence because we planned this a couple weeks ago. It’s more fun for me to get the dealer on there giving some information but it’s hard to find one that will talk on camera especially about pricing
@@RockhillfarmYT While watching I was thinking the same thing. Not a lot of dealers want to be on video but to get one that did AND talked about pricing… way to go you!!
I am pleased to see you giving more attention to LS tractors. I've been very happy with my MT357HC. Since you've been a part of the green eco-system, you'll need to get one of the JD to skid-steer adapters somewhere.
Brock, I would highly recommend giving Kioti a peak if you’re in the market for a new machine. I bought a Dk5310 SE last November and I have loved it. It doesn’t have a cab, but it seemed to be the most capable and affordable machine I looked at. Mine was $30K delivered with a dealer installed 3rd function and filled tires. The same machine in green was going to be like $14K more, I’ll be doing a review of the Kioti in the next few weeks
Most all Korean built tractors today are really good tractors for the money and I’ve shopped them all. They all have different pros & cons but, IMO the Branson and/or TYM models with Kukje engines are the absolute best bet if owning a tractor without a computer controlled common rail fuel and emissions system is something that is important to you. No other brand offers this today and those Cummins clone engines are in a class all by themselves. Second tip, go with a great dealer close to you, that will take care of you and offer you a great implement package. 🚜💵👍🤠
Brock LS makes a nice tractor. I bought a Kioti but looked at LS hard. For me was dealer and I liked the Kioti features and fit and finish more. Ls came in a close second and good video
Great video content. I like these types of videos. It's nice to see a lot of competition in this space. Hopefully you do some other comparisons such as TYM and such. Looking forward to watching!
I have operated tractors off almost every brand in videos on the channel I’ve done three or four videos featuring TYM tractors in the past TYM Tractors - Model Numbers, Specs, and Available Features #NFMS 2022 ua-cam.com/video/tHJXg3JNiYw/v-deo.html
Great stuff! Rule of thumb is if you light farm and break ground you need 40hp minimal. Personally, I'd go 40 if I wanted to do things around the house, lighter and slightly smaller frame, you'll appreciate it. 50hp is for farming but awkward around the house. Go for it, and don't hesitate. It's a good move!
Also, I'd bet that the LS40hp vs JD40hp you'll have way more power in the LS. JD stalls out on power when pulling and lifting by engineering design, JD dealership has stated to friends of mine that their JD does this so it won't break parts on the tractor. Just my opinion, but the equivalent in LS and several other brands will run circles around JD because of the intended design. Just saying.
I have a XR3140HC for close to 3 years now. It has been a great tractor. The newest model of mine is the MT3 40. I mostly use the front snowblower and rear finish mower. The best part is I have a great dealer with excellent service. Yes the plastics inside the cab are not the highest quality but the price paid for the features it has are excellent. I wanted a cab for the winter and a comparable Kubota or John Deere, with less capability, was $11,000-$15,000 more!!
Yeah man !! The cab MT357 power clutch is what i have and use daily ! It’s been great ! I def recommend it for the kind of stuff you do. Would love to see you make the switch to BLUE 🤠
Howdy Brock! LS puts a nice package together! They are on my short list for sure. I'm looking forward to checking out Summit's 36hp with cab that is coming out next year. Always fun to kick some tires lol. Thanks for sharing 🤠
I have an MT347 and yes I’ve had a few issues but they are great tractors. It does everything I’ve had it to do. My opinion is I think reason people have a lot of problems is the dealer doesn’t service them after receiving them. They stick them on the lot and sell them. This is just from what I’ve seen.
There’s a good chance I will. I like my machines, but I also like the idea of showing other tractors on my channel and I would like to have a little bigger tractor.
Beware of LS Tractor parts availability, My nephew’s new LS has been at the dealer he purchased it from (not The Tractor Yard) for 2 months. No availability in sight. PTO related issue.
They have several options for different types of manual and shuttle shift. The ones I’ve actually driven were Power reverser. You didn’t have to use the clutch at all for forward to reverse.
@@RockhillfarmYT That option never crossed my mind when I bought mine. Don't know if I would have gone for it or not, I haven't needed to take mine anywhere yet. I'd guess that adds $1800 to $2500 to the price and I'd be interested to see how many people want or need one. Maybe a poll with want one, need one, don't want or need one?
I can tell you we sell just as many tractors as packages with trailers than without! Probably more with trailers. Would be interesting to pull our numbers and see the exact percentage… thanks for watching!

Warning buyers do ur homework!! Worse piece of garbage I have ever bought!!!! I bought a new MT 352 and from the time I unloaded it until they finally bought it back was nothing short of a nightmare!!!! From the dealer it was immediately leaking out of every hose on the loader manifold, you could turn them with your hand, 4 hours the lift stopped working, send it back and they kept it 3 weeks and had to put a new pump in it, it was full of metal and ruined the hydraulic system! When I got it home , the power steering then started leaking, had to send it back again to get all that repaired and finally at 28 hours the loader completely broke into!! The metal in this crap is cheap and will not stand up to more than driving it down a paved road in parade!! I have all the pics to back all this up! U get what u pay for! I was attracted to this tractor for all the extras it came with and the nice features it has, but none of that is any good if the tractor won’t run and hold up to minor work! LS bought my tractor back thank God!
