I think one of the reason Mikey's rainbow won was that you could clearly see each pokemon as there was more space between them. John's Pokémon were much closer together, which made the rainbow look more clean as a rainbow, but it made it a lot harder to distinguish the Pokémon from one another.

John's looked like it was 2 separate parts, Mikey's was more clean as a rainbow in my opinion
Yeah. Mikey’s rainbow you can clearly see what the Pokémon are. John’s rainbow is smooth like you said. But a few of the Pokémon were kinda hard to tell. I think another reason could be that Mikey did catch 2 shiny starters and a legendary Pokémon. People do like starter pokemons.

I voted for option 2 (Mikey's) because I thought it overall looks cleaner. I do prefer a lot of the shinies on John's but it felt a little too crowded and some of the other colours on his shinies kind of took away from the 'rainbowyness'.

Yeah, as far as shiny pokemon go, john wins by a large margin, but rainbow wise, johns barelly looked like an arc or as they say a "bow"

I think what I liked more about Mikey’s rainbow was that it wasn’t extremely squished together. Both had great Pokemon options but it was easier to see Mikey’s Pokemon compared to John’s. Amazing vid as always 😌

Mikey you have no idea how happy you made when you mention Hank the Cowdog. That was my favorite book series as a child.
On the community tab it was near impossible to recognize what the metapod were 😂 great rainbows though, they look very pretty
Not gonna lie, when i voted on what rainbow was better, i didnt even look at what pokemon were in it. I just went by what colors i liked better and i liked how i could see each pokemon in Mikeys since they were more spaced out, where John's were more on top of each other and i didnt like it as much visually
It isn't until now that I realized the rainbow I voted for was for this video. I'm going to be honest, I voted for Mikey's but not for any other reason other than it looked more aesthetically round up top like a rainbow. All those shinies were pretty sick. Especially the many Drowzee Mikey found hahahaha. Your videos for the JMC and pre JMC are very fun to watch. Keep it up gentlemen.
Mikey missing the Shiny Omanyte at 11:50 while John was focusing on the Gyarados was sweet. Sure Omanyte ain't the best purple but it works I think and would lock out John for it

The deciding factor for me, was that john’s one’s middle didn’t look good to me. That’s why I went with Mikey’s. When I answered the poll I didn’t even think of it being for a video. 😂

While watching this video in the back of my mind I was like “huh this seems familiar” and at the end I realized they were the rainbows we voted for. This would be the first time I cast a vote for the JMC competitions, and it was exciting seeing who I voted for slowly start to be revealed the longer the video went.

I can confirm when you sub to pm7, you do in fact find more shinies. My first ever wild shinies were murkrow and delibird after I subscribed to pm7
Just wanna say I didn't realize I voted for a video idea until this video game was out, also I voted for Johns's Rainbow cause I didn't like the blue in Mikey...Johns Rainbow was way more consistent in its color and I liked that. But that's Democratry for you you don't always agree with the majority. It was a fun video anyway.

I remember voting on this and I voted for Mikey's because it had a cleaner arch, and didn't look like two half arches. I like the mons better in John's, but those were just things my OCD brain couldn't get over.
