Next time instead of voting, just catch groups of 4 ABCD, EFGH, IJKL then do a double battle with your letter's Pokemon.
Then even when you both get the same Pokemon there will still be a winner. After 6 battle rounds if it's a tie just roll 4 random letters for a tie breaker.

Anytime Mikey gets angry at John for finding an early shiny is hilarious.

He knew exactly what the people wanted when he caught that Clodsire for C...Clodsire is love, Clodsire is life, and Clodsire is a whole vibe. Rika having one on her team is based. And Dragonite is cool and all, but I love Dachsbun so much. I have a senior dachshund with several health problems named Bella (despite her health problems, she's a trooper and still going strong) so I love that it's based off her breed.

It’s a bit of both. Like Scyther vs Snom was most likely fans voting for silliness over coolness, so that’s just luck. But on others it seemed like Mikey just threw it on purpose, like picking Veluza who is just ugly.

I have an idea for you guys for an extra layer of complexity for alphabet challenges. Do the same thing you guys are doing: catching a pokemon and let people vote for who likes it better. But percentage of the votes of each pokemon goes on a spinning wheel (specifically the wheel of names) and whoever the wheel chooses gets the point. So if people like your pokemon 63% of the time, you have a 63% chance to win a point. So there is still a chance a 1% vote could ridiculously win. Hope you consider it :)

PM7 caught more shinies in one video than I have in 3 years.
Don't underestimate the power of Naclstack. All you have to do is catch a Sturdy Nacli right at the beginning of the game and evolve it, and then you can sweep all three strongest titan pokemon by heal stalling. Orthwurm, Iron Tusk, and Dondozo/Tatsugiri all faint in 4 turns if afflicted with Salt Cure.
One is water, the other two are steel, both of which take 1/4 of their health every round from Salt Cure.
I feel like at this point a shiny each episode is given.
