"Coach Tara, these archery tips are fantastic! 🏹 The step-by-step guide on repairing arrows is super helpful and easy to follow. I’ll definitely be using these techniques next time my gear needs a fix-thanks for the great advice
Excellent information. Yup cleaning of the vane base and shaft is extremely important unless otherwise specified like AAE vanes. For the points JB weld will fix the problem of them coming loose and nail polish on the threads of the points will keep them from working loose too. Great video.
Great video, thanks for sharing your knowledge. I'm currently using feathers. Just wondering, how much damage to the feather before I replace it? I have some that are worn on the edges and others that are missing pieces and even chunks.
That's the downside to feathers - they tend to get ruined much quicker than vanes. I would say - if you are just shooting recreationally (for fun) - wear them out. Shoot groups and if you notice the damaged ones are not flying like the others - go ahead and change it out! This is a magical answer - but hope it helps! LOL
Nice tips always do my own repairs and I'd advise not to glue your nocks in... Mind you that I'm a beginner myself but you should have freedom to adjust the nock mid shooting.
@@ArcheryHouse Well, actually... Bought my first recurve and since last week I enjoy shooting it 🙂. A friend of mine commented on my instagram-post and we started chatting. Seems my bow tips over backwards, so it needs a stabilizer. Would be nice to get some info on that. Seen bows with 1, seen bows with 3, long, short, ... Do you just try out what you need, or can you calculate what you need? Another idea: a video on various distances in bow shooting and the size of the targets used on them. And maybe some tips on aiming at various distances? Thanks in advance and cheers from Belgium...

This type has to be glued in or they fall off. There are different types that don't require glue. Thanks for sharing!
What now? I'm all out of video's to watch? 🤔I think I'll leave the fletching to the shop...
leave me a video idea! :)
