Sadly I had already stumbled across this setting and had found my m2 drive listed, set it at top, but I just get boot media not found press any key to continue. Windows installer found it and installed it, the bios lists it in the place this guy says under bbs priorities, but no luck, it just says not found. Really sucks as I need to get it all running tonight. Looks like I may be having to use old HD for a while.
hi friend. If you can see your ssd in the list and set it priority to the top, and can't boot from it. In this case, it possibly you didn't clone your OS to SSD correctly. Glhf !!!.

I don't have the option to use CSM mode, evidently. There's no switch in my ez mode screen, and in advanced settings it says "onboard graphics vbios is not supported in CSM mode. The bios CSM/UEFI mode will be changed to UEFI." Glad your method helped out other people...
@@evanescence47 I found *a* solution. I had enabled RAID prematurely, which made it so all my drives were hidden, not just my m.2 drive. Once I switched that off and rebooted, everything showed up in bios and I could install the os no problem.

I recently built my last system with an MSI Z390-A Pro with an Intel Pentium Gold Coffee Lake G5400 Duel Core 3.7Ghz Processor! 64 GB DDR4 3200 Ram and a GeForce GTX 1650 Video Card! I use this system for Adobe Video Editing! Besides ticking the XMP & GAME BOOST button with FAN set to Auto, what else can I do to Overclock this system? I was told by MSI that This is basically a budget gaming board that cannot be manually overclocked? Any advise Would be greatly appreciated!
Hello, I am not a professional overclocking guy. But your cpu g5400 can't be overclocked by Intel. You can buy i5 and use cheaper graphic card. Glhf !!!

when I insert a nvme in my gigabyte bios it resets bios on every boot and boots twice to get in windows, if the bios was already on defaults as well. not sure how to fix this secure boot is disabled and tpm is disabled as well ?

Hello, this seems to have helped many people but for me, there is no more menu underneath the boot options, so I can't go to the BBS thing and there is no menu point called windows OS configuration, so I am quite desperate. If anybody has any idea, I would be over the moon

What version of the bios is this because the latest msi bios does not have the bottom 3 options on the boot tab
Go to settings, advanced settings, integrated peripherals, and where it says SATA1 hot plug and SATA2 hot plug and make sure those are enabled.

You have to look for the similar option of your bios or update BIOS version. glhf !!!.
For some reason the BBS priorities doesn't show up for me.
You have to change to CSM and reboot. After that you should see BBS priorities.
I changed to csm but bbs never showed up and it still says not detected on m2
