Love how y’all do all this as a family, even if bringing kids along does complicate things a bit. 👏🏽

Same here!! I’m a mom of 1, and I just started training my my first 5k! I know it’s small, but I’d love to do a marathon someday! So almost everyday, I’ve been running outside pushing a jogger stroller! It’s felt so good to have a goal and to not have this story in my head telling me I can’t do ambitious things just because I’m a momma!
What are you doing Lena1996Popova? Are you into hiking just like Hailey Outside is?
Hiking is so awesome! And what a treat for your children to grow up with a mom who brings them outdoors!

Honestly it wasn’t as hard as I was expecting! (And I’ve never done any type of skiing). It was nice I was with friends who had been before.

Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait…I REALLY need to know the name of that sled thing you’re using for your kids. I’ve been looking for a way to bring my mini dachshunds on cross country ski trips or just snowy camping trips. They love the snow but can’t get through the tall stuff (y’know…cause they’re mini doxies) and I haven’t been able to go on cross country trips as much as I want because I don’t like leaving them behind. I would be very very grateful if anyone could tell me the name of that trailer/sled thing.

Did you use the prepared slopes with the sled/pulka/Thule also? We are planning the same but are concerned we will ruin the prepared tracks :(

Try to put weight on each foot when pushing forward. You will be sliding much better soon.

That’s no fun leave the kids with grandma. Or take turns. A+ for effort. Your kids will ski in a few years.

Definitely don't bring the kids next time. as nice as it may be to do things as a family, you were practically shuffling pulling the kids and you're supposed to feel like your glidimg when you're xc skiing

@@Haileyoutside i'm 100% on board with doing as much stuff as possible together as a family, but when it gets to the point that you literally can't do the sport you've gone on holiday to try out then maybe it's time to leave them in the creche.
