I was slack jawed!!! She looks like she’s not paying attention to you at times (she’s 5 😊) but she is! And she takes direction so very well! That last jump she did blew me away. Thank for the slo-mo!!! I am filled with awe and pride in Adia! You are an amazing teacher and father. ♥️ I hope the boys did well in their competitions.
Adia never ceases to amaze me !!!!!!! Her courage at age 5 should be an inspiration to all of us !! And …especially in this video one can clearly see the love between a Dad and his Daughter !!! Great job guys 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
So awesome! Her progression from last season to this season is crazy. That beginning sequence where she's rocking from edge to edge just shows how dialed in she is. Great recovery from that crash, and getting her right back on the horse that threw her!! Seeing your sons competing...wow! I hope you'll post a video of their runs. Also....I appreciate the lesson in how to jump. At 60, I'm always looking to improve my skiing, and I'm currently chasing better pow skills, and better jumping!! Skiing again with my daughter(24) in a week, and can't wait. 19yrs of skiing together!
Love the way you’re coaching your children. Providing them with the info & the confidence they need, & let them make the choices!!!!! Great work Mom & Dad!!!!!
It's just amazing to see how Adia improves each time out. I was wondering how soon she'd get back to that jump after her crash. I'm so happy to see her get back to it and face that fear after that crash and get that big air! WTG ADIA! Keep it up, girlfriend!
To be only 5yrs old and have that much guts and fun while skiing she have my respect :) Fast learning, developning step by step and climbing new obsticales! :) Awesome and great job!! Greetings from Norway :)
She's a warrior....Big fall, laughs at the replay of it and then says I'm a little hurt but still carries on. She's so adorable and talented I'm jealous of her.
Adia rolls her ankles while turning... double WOW I'm so impressed! I remember these wonderful days skiing with my daughters when they were young. I struggle to write this ... but I see no need for the baby talk! Consider talking to Adia as if she was 16 years old ... she is obviously smart, intelligent and will response well to adult language.
❤❤❤❤❤❤ what a good dad!!!! Little Adia ROCKS! I love the high pitched girl screams!!!! (Even us older gals do them!!!!) Falls….👀 I had a fall last year on some bumpy stuff and broke my rib and bruised my lung. Like a hard head, I skied down the last 2/3 of the way…..😱 . Adia is my inspiration on the slopes!!!! She has some awesome skills!❤
LOL, at the end: "I don't believe in pushing my kids" then gives her a little push!!! (I know different context), but unintentionally funny. Well maybe not unintentional, but still funny.
'The Nudge'. My man you hit the nail on the head when explaining that concept. When I was in a Mountain Biking group growing up, our leader used to say something along those lines. "I'll never make you do something, but I'll encourage the hell out of you!" Sometimes people just need 'The Nudge'. Great video, as always.
She has good ski technique! She’s not forcing her turns like a lot of young uns do; she just naturally lets the side cut make the turn and has a smooth transition from turn to turn. She’s going to be a 💩hot ski racer!
Bro, I was so nervous for her second hit on that medium jump...the slow mo added to the anticipation.. but when she nailed I was punching the air...she is such a little champion... you must be super proud of her..
Eric has "Risk Management" down. I applaud he and Courtney's parenting in every way including the "outside the box" academic schooling of their children. Love this channel and share it often. Full disclosure: As a lifelong motorcyclist, street and dirt (now 74 years on), US Army Paratrooper and career Wildland Firefighter I know a thing or two about successful risk management.
It's good to believe what you believe, and in this case i agree with you. But not everything we believe is correct. Sometimes it's good to check our beliefs with more knowledgeable people who aren't too personally close. Also minimizing her pain isn't cool. Don't linger on the pain but don't act like you can just shake it off and go on. I guess you're grooming her to be professional, and yes then you work and push thru the pain. But i thought it was a little early. Acknowledge the pain. Give it the moment it deserves because that's how we grow, and then move on. It's just my thought. But you do you. You're doing great, by the way. But all of us can always do better. ✌️🙏
@ThatMountainLife oh. I thought you wanted them to compete in the future and you were teaching them push thru success and set backs. But regardless, it's awesome what you do. It's like seeing a young tiger woods or Venus Williams. We are watching them grow whichever path they choose. ✌️😊
" I believe you can do it, And if you believe you can do it, Then you can do it" Every kid needs to hear those words. Great job

It looked like you were flying Adia! That looks like a lot of fun mixed with some scary, but that’s ok 🙂.
Seeing her on the jumps amazes me. I think I may have started going off jumps when I was about 8 or 9. Adia, you and your skiing are amazing!
Thanks for sharing Eric. I love how you coach and encourage your children!
"Fast like a baaaaaalllllll!" Is still my favourite Adia-ism 😊
Absolutely fantastic Adia and such a great job Dad!!!
She is so brave!

I picked up on that when doing my voice over!

Adia is going to be a Ski Legend! I'd love to take my littles skiing at some point. - Jake, also a dad that documents our outdoor adventures.
youre an awesome dad !
I was just at Panorama Ski Resort for an Alberta Alpine ski race
Who would think watching a five year old skiing would be so inspiring.

😣 “what hurts?”
I’m 5 and unknowingly took a feature meant for practiced adults.
Park features don’t care how old you are.
For 5yr your skiing make it funnier and good if u dont you will get hurt 5:53
Yuppie boring
You should change the name of your channel to "The Best Dad. Period!" b/c that's who you are. ♥
