I would call this ballet pink. I learned the different shades of pink when my girls started Pointe.
The thumbnail is adorable! The color's cool too! It would also look good had you left the legs and top stained, but that's also, it looks great!

It turned out great! You make this look so easy. I redid my kitchen table and 4 chairs this weekend stained the table top and chair seats and painted everything else white and distressed it. I have drip marks and the mess I made was unreal, paint everywhere! You keep everything so neat and perfect I don’t know how you do it.🤍
A table & chairs is definitely much more difficult than just a side table! You've definitely got to slow down to avoid drips! Thinner coats also can help lessen those drips! Keep at it! Thanks for watching!
Hi Luren, You are 'The Best'! I secured a Kidney Desk (or could be used for a Vanity) 1950's or earlier from a friend's boyfiend's Estate items. So glad I got this, BUT, it needs some repair on deeper scrathes, and don't want to cover up the 'Hand Painting' on it, so I guess I will be doing some stain to do the best I can with it.

I have used that wax. It dries up and crumbles in the can so I use the chunks to wax the drawers and rungs with it.

Quick question(not sure if you've answered this already). How do you decided on painting the furniture vs staining the furniture in order to flip it?

It looks like a Capezio pink!
I would think one of the biggest reasons to clean before painting is to remove years of furniture wax, in addition to grease and grime.

Have you ever tried Heirloom Traditions All-in-one? I painted two dining room chairs in iron gate… I love this paint.

I like heirloom traditions but it is a little bit of a learning curve and because it has the built in top coat it only has a satin sheen. I not in love with the shiny finished product but I do love the all in one.

What a beautiful color. I think this little table turned out super cute. It looks like the contact paper in the drawer needs to be trimmed. (perhaps its the camera angle) I'd trim it to size with an Exacto knife, running it along the crease to neaten up the edge.

Good stuff. THANKS! I had to re watch the portion about the filling in the gouges and the dings. Would the Dixie mud not have filled in the gouges? I would have made the mistake of trying to mold the mud to fix the spindle area.

It would've worked but probably would have needed multiple applications to be even with the surface! Kwik wood is easy to mold.
Not a pinkish color fan... but pretty . Nice choice for liner.
