"THE BAND WE DON'T TALK ABOUT ANYMORE": The Lostprophets Diaries

- Nowadays, if anyone ever talks about Lostprophets, it probably has to do with the sick acts of their frontman. But what about the music that the band left behind? That is what we will be taking a deeper look into in this video, which I'm sure is not going to sit right with everyone.

Hey man, thanks for making this. I really enjoyed listening to it. Lee. X
Oh my, I never in my life would've imagined that this video would reach an ex-member, it's an honour! Thank you so much!🤘🏻🎸:)
Thank you, Lee! Your music has played a huge part in my life, and I'm sure countless others. I'll always continue to support any future projects you and the guys release in the wake of LP.
And thank you F.A.D. Entertainment for making this video. Your assessment is spot on, this catalog of music is far too good to be hidden away forever, the whole band doesn't deserve to be erased because of IW.
Fakesound of progress was my favorite album. Thanks for the great music
This isn’t Lee. Do you you really think a grown man linked with this type of controversy would be subscribed to roblox accounts and making mobile game videos. Obviously a password guessed account explaining the date.
@@bandname Those are my children
It’s funny tho that the history always gets mixed up. It was me and IW that formed Lp while they played in Public Disturbance. We asked Mike to join on bass and he got moved to guitar when we recorded with Stu as we were blown aaay by how good Stu was on bass.
Oh wow. Someone should really fact-check the info online! Haha.
I always love to hear/find out about the behind-the-scenes stuff, so this is very fascinating to me :)
I always thought that Mike Lewis was one of the founding members of LP. It turns out that Wikipedia has kept me in the dark.
You guys didn't Deserve what happened and I still listen to all your music to this day it hit home when it needs to and picks me back up and being from the UK too you guys gave a small UK town band some hope thank you for your music
@@lukewoodman9714 that's not Lee it's just a pretender.
@@wilfredwayne7139 It IS Lee. I checked the channel a few months ago and there was a video that he had uploaded.
I know this video is a year old now, but I still catch myself coming back to the band multiple times. The band was fantastic, and though Ian is a disgusting excuse for a human, he was skilled at singing and had the ability to keep people hooked with very catchy hooks and lines. Sad we will never get another band like them.
My heart struggles so much whenever someone asks my favorite band. Thank you for this
I remember when I heard Wake up (Make a Move) for the very first time. I remember when I ran to the record store to see if they already had the next album. Liberation, Betrayed and Weapons. We are approaching to ten years of Lostprophets' demise and still hurts. I go back and listen to those records sometimes, records that were part of my teenage years and adulthood. I remember when the news broke (I am from Colombia, but a friend of mine who lives in the UK told me via Live Messenger) and I couldn't believe it, and I still can't believe this man who had it all, not just money, he was a handsome man, that hid such a dark part of himself.
I stopped listening to them for a while after what happened, but I could not stay away forever as their music will always hace a special place in my heart, mostly because it was my college best friend's favorite band, and he passed away in early 2012. I listened to lp all night that day.
Hard not to feel bad for the other guys in the band Obviously not as bad as I feel for Watkin's victims, but the rest of them lost more than just a gig. They're entire discography, decades of work is blacklisted. No one is going to license that music any time soon.
Normally, popular bands with a healthy discography can rely on future income through legacy alone. Not former LP members though.
F you Watkins.
People can't hate a band because of one and only person. The rest of the band are incredible and I will still listen to them. Forever.
I love The Fake Sound of Progress and Start Something...always takes me back to the early 00's and despite IW being a monster, I still listen to them when the mood strikes me.
I 100% agree with everything you said. Lostprophets' discography is incredible, and despite all the horrible things that happened I've never stopped listening to their music. How they managed to make five albums with virtually no bad or skippable song baffles me, and I've always unironically said their tracks should be studied in songwriting classes: they're the catchiest thing imaginable and a part of me always tried to keep them in mind while writing for my band. I've seen a lot of people burn their CDs and act like Lostprophets never existed, but I can't: perhaps I'm wrong, but I think you should always separate art from the artist. Plus, as you said, there were five other people in the band (I'm glad to see Lee Gaze stumbled upon this video as well), and if Watkins' actions should be despised, the other poor guys' art should be celebrated.
Cheers from Italy,
Armando
P.S.: Start Something is INSANE.
Always happy to see people that are on the same page here :)
Needless to say, I wholeheartedly agree 🤘🏻
Ti rispondo in italiano perché credevo di essere la sola a condividere la tua stessa idea (in Italia)
I still bump last train and Shinobi vs Dninja
@@FADEntertainment I almost completely agree except 4 a.m. forever, and For Sure are definitely skippable
Fake sound of progress album changed my life the betrayed albums was ok and weapons some songs hit or miss but another shot song idk the lyrics for that feel like he tried to say something
it has taken me 10 years to be able to listen to them again. They were my favorite band growing up. i'm glad i'm finally at that point where I can listen to them again and seperate art from artist.
Music in this video:
Last Summer: 1:16
Hello Again: 5:54
Broken Hearts and Torn Up Letters: 11:04
A Better Nothing: 13:54
Somedays: 16:54
Last Train Home: 19:21
I just stumbled upon them this year. If not for Watkins, Im certain they'd still be playing today.
I follow these 3 rules to listen to them with absolute chill:
1: I don't care
2: Past is past
3: If i do not see evil, hear evil or speak of it, im fully protected
I totally hear what you say about not finding a band that will "fill the void." I feel exactly the same. Lostprophets were my favourite band, I was lucky enough to see them live twice. They were such good memories. I still feel sad sometimes that I will never get to see them again (but I know that's nothing compared to what the victims have been through including the rest of the band). I still listen to Lostprophets, I love all of their albums, Start Something also being my favourite! At the end of the day the other members of Lostprophets all had (and I am sure still have) so much talent and they don't deserve to be forgotten or put down just because of one person. Their music was phenomenal and it will always be a part of my life :).
Thankyou thankyou thankyou thankyou so much for making this!
You treated this with so much respect and were spot on with your opinions! A great history of the band, I wish more people gave them the respect that you did!
They're my hometown band and one of my favourite bands of all time!
Haha, I'm happy to hear that :) Good to see that I'm not the only one 🙏🏻
Thanks for watching! 🤘🏻
Funny running into you here
I still listen to LP as of today. I don't HATE the band as a whole, just Ian.
I just wish LP could still perform. All they had to do was just get a new singer. Since Lee Gaze also founded the band he had the rights of ownership of the band and Ian would lose all privileges after his arrest.
LostProphets will always be awesome. (Minus Ian, he can burn in HELL.)
Having seen all the comments, I totally agree... but I have to mention that when we are young, exciting new music is discovered every minute/hour/day/week, however not so often as we grow up. I was 35'ish when I first heard the LoPh's and it was like becoming a teenager again! Finding something I could enthuse about so much and and rant at all my mates about at all available opportunities. What an incredible experience. Seeing them live 3 or 4 times I have "tour T shirts" that I can no longer wear, however they are still somewhere in my wardrobe (!) Being a musician/performer/writer, I recognise that they made some amazing stuff. I had never seen the subtitle to Never Gonna Catch Tomorrow but hearing the track, I immediately picked up on the line "good shoes won't save you this time" and was spell bound , as with most of Watkins' lyrics. Complimented by the awesome musicianship of course. I hope the rest of all the guys are ok and they are getting their due royalties. This critique and presentation is perfect... Very well done.
The way you described Start Something is exactly how I feel about that album as well. It's the album I use to describe the type of album I hope to create. It's a work of art. Thank you for making this video and for focusing on the music.
I was a big fan of LostProphets as a kid after hearing ‘lucky you’ from the spider-man 2 soundtrack and remember seeing the music video for ‘rooftops’ on TV. Still one of my favourite band in terms of the music and I still listen to them now with ‘Start Something’ being one of if not my favourite album I’ve ever listened to.
I also do like ‘no devotion’ and support them. It’s a shame their careers were ruined by the monster that is Ian Watkins.
Good job man! It's heartbreaking that the music has been tarnished by everything around Ian. It is a super hard topic for most and I can completely understand that. But I do, even more now reading these comments and watching this video feel a sense of relief. It seems I'm far from alone in having a genuine tie and connection to these tracks and music from my youth, especially for me "Last Summer" but yet I'm torn, because obviously none of us can get over what Ian did, and why should we, what he did is wrong on all levels. Unfortunately separating the music from the artist is near impossible. Anyway, what I can take away from this, is a surprisingly comforting feeling. To know that I'm far from alone in my love for these amazing albums, especially their second album. Thanks for the video, and acknowledging the elephant in the room. 👍🏾😊
THANK YOU for saying this! One of my favourite ever bands too, and equally I find it awkward to discuss them with anyone. "What he did was just too wrong," one of my friends said. "People aren't comfortable." So frustrating. I rediscovered lostprophets last summer (convenient pun) during lockdown and have listened to them almost daily since. I keep finding new meanings in the lyrics and discovering new love for tracks I'd previously skipped or just not really listened to. Still Laughing is one - the last section where the awesome tapping riff starts, and Ian is singing something that I hope he hasn't forgotten: "I'm still waiting; I still breathe; That's a sign that I'm still me; I'm still breathing; I can see; So I must be alive for real"
I thought I was the only one in this cruel world to like listening to Lostprophets, now I can safely say I have found an ally.
Haha, cheers! 🤘🏻 :)
I feel the same way. Their music is still amazing, it just sucks its been stigmatized so badly because of his actions. I try and separate the two when I listen though. Obviously it is very hard to forget what he did, nor should it be forgotten, but I try and just enjoy the music.
Just want to say you did an awesome job documenting lostprophets history. And I completely agree, the music shouldn't be forgotten, and like yourself, I still think no other band carried this genre or filled the void that they left. Having said that, it still is one of my favourite bands ever.. Again, great video, you kept it accurate and pleasant. Kudos, dude..
Thanks a ton! Really glad to hear that :)
Cheers! 🤘🏻
Fantastic review. I had alot of inneral turmoil when all the shit went down. But at the end of the day, through all these years, this is still the #1 band for me.
The reason I say that because after 22 years & many new or old bands i love, they are still my #1 favorite bands. i still connect to ALL (yes all) of their songs. Some how some way each song means something special to me.
I do not condone what Ian did 1 bit, but at the end of the day, I connected with this band & their music on the soul level.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk. 🍻
!!Alabama!!!
Crazy this album about 20 years now…still hurts
A controversial one, to say the least. I don't know what the general response will be, but I did my best to tackle this topic in the most appropriate/fitting way possible.
Dude, that title is sooooo accurate. Try getting a radio station to play one of their songs these days.
Finally someone who agrees with me. Start something is the best album to be ever made.
Can anyone suggest me bands that sound like them. I know it's a big ask but anyone?
@@kushagranautiyal1386 Are you familiar with Bring Me The Horizon? I'd specifically recommend their albums:
Sempiternal, That's The Spirit, Amo, and Post Human Survival Horror.
I'm not saying they sound just like LP (no one does), but if you listen through all those albums you'll definitely find some similar energy.
@@kushagranautiyal1386 Enter Shikari maybe?

I always thought earlier stuff from Incubus (off their SCIENCE and Make Yourself albums) and Hoobastank (first album) were pretty close to Lostprophets... loved all 3 bands back in the day. The song Crawling in the Dark by Hoobastank and A Certain Shade of Green by Incubus are good starting points 🤘
This video is great. And you're right nothing has quite filled the void.
I just came across this I loved their music and when it all happened a huge part of my youth was ripped away I used to drive along with them blasting on the stereo, every now and again I will listen to a track but now it is in private.
There is another band Skindred and they do fill the void abit and they are amazing live
Thank you 🙏 I DESPISE what Ian did, especially as someone who used their music to cope with their own abuse that I was going through at that time. Even though I can’t stand seeing his face but I can’t help still having that spot in my heart for the lostprophets music. They’re STILL the GREATEST live act I’ve seen. Nobody came close. Not my chemical romance, not good Charlotte. NOBODY. Haha 😆 I’ve wished someone would. I genuinely miss having that special thing to look forward to. 😔 Hoping Nova Rockafeller takes that top spot next. 🤞
Recently I reviewed their discography. I’m someone that’s never heard of them till recently. To me it seemed like they were really with whatever was popular at the time. Nu-Metal on their first album, Hoobistank on the 2nd, then emo on the third.
They went from “we’ll kick your ass” rocker dudes to “please don’t kick our ass” emo aesthetic. As an American it makes sense why they didn’t make it here. The sounds they experimented with were beaten to death in the states.
We had so many pop punk and Nu Metal bands that Brits never heard of. You couldn’t really distinguish LostProphets from any of those bands. They did get bad reviews here.
With the negative out the way. LostProphets had some good guitar riffs. There were a handful of songs I liked. The lyricism was pretty creative sometimes. Melodies weren’t the best until Liberation Transmission.
Mesmo eu sendo português eu precisava desse vídeo , parabéns
Start something is genuinely a flawless album. Literally not a single weak track on it. I can listen to that album start to finish and never get bored. I can’t even say that about some of my favourite bands albums.
I agree completely. Just a perfect record, cover to cover.
THANK YOU!!!! A VOICE OF REASON!!!😊😊😊

Good vid. I'll still give some of their songs a spin now and again for the nostalgia but it would have to be on my own it can never be a social thing with friends. I would never put them on a playlist or anything in case it came up.
They were an incredible band. _Start something_ is one of my all-time favourite records. And you're right, no one has filled that space since. Cheers!
It really is a shame that Watkins is such a despicable waste cause he had a good voice and they made some good music.
Yep, exactly that.
They were a great band. It's just such a sad situation. They are part of that great early 2000s nu metal scene. I was only a kid when they were popular. It isn't fair that we aren't allowed to listen to them sort of like people think forgetting them will somehow erase what Ian did. Looking at them musically they still hold up and we should be allowed to separate the art from the artist.
Darkest Blue from the last but one album is one of my favourite LP tracks and nobody else ever mentions it
It's a great deeper cut, for sure! :)
A true story to lighten the mood, I used to live in Cardiff and a few months before Watkins got arrested I was in a nightclub called Bogiez (which was the local rock club). Also in there was a guy called Magzy who played guitar for a few of the local hardcore bands. Watkins walks in and then out of no where a slightly inebriated Magzy lunges for and beats down Watkins. A few years later we joked/theorized that Magzy had a premonition of what Ian had done so got his shots in early. Apparently No Devotion are working on a new record I wish them the best.
I hope they are!
It was a pretty open secret it seems, so definitely possible
Liked all the albums and saw them in Florida. Quality and feel sorry for the rest of the band due to singer’s behaviour. Music is still outstanding, thanks for bringing back to my playlist.
Thank you for this. I love their music. Still ❤
"The Fake Sound of Progress" was originally released on 2000 and was re-released a year after. The original starts off with "Obscure Intro" and then "Shinobi vs. Dragon Ninja" and the interludes were separated into their own tracks.
Great video! Together with Linkin Park, these guys were my fav band when growing up. The fake sound of progress and start something are fucking amazing imo. Liberation Transmition was cool but to me had lost a bit of the energy, even though I like most songs and still very much enjoy most of the album. I have a very broad taste in music and as I grew older I went through different phases and shifted to old school hip hop. This resulted in me actually missing the last two albums and only discovering them much later. Gave them a listen but it honestly didn’t convince me so I just stuck to the “old” albums. Then I heard about Watkins crimes...Quite heartbreaking for everyone involved (The victims, the fans, the other band members). It really tarnished everything. I’ve been listening to the old albums again, especially the first two and it’s weird because obviously I can’t forget what he did, but the music is still great. I do believe in being able to separate art from artist (while still acknowledging that a certain connection is always going to be present and being aware of who the artist is, to not be ignorant of reality and the connections). I also think it is important to talk about this stuff without immediately losing ones shit about it. It is possible to enjoy great albums that shaped my teen years while still being aware and reflective of the terrible things that they are connected to. It’s important to talk about this shit, not just brush it under the rug. Thanks for being honest and real about your opinions of the band.
Many good points, and also exactly how I feel about it too. Tragic that things played out the way that they did, but the music etc. shouldn't just be wiped from history. Glad to hear that I'm not alone in that.
Cheers, man! 🤘🏻
Lostprophets were the band from my youth, dislike what Watkins done but the music was and still is amazing
I'm finally home. THANK YOU. Someone separating the art from the artist. To quote Label from ANCH: I...I just appreciate you so much.
Glad to hear that :)
Cheers! 🤘🏻
MAn I know I am late to watch this Video but... EVERYTHING you said about this band is what i feel. I love this music. I just stumbled upon this video and and so glad you made it.. If you can man lets talk!
Sway is a hypnotic track. And a great cut in general
Great video 👍👍
u just earned a new sub!!! great vid!!!🤘🏻
Thanks! :) Glad to hear you enjoyed 🤘🏻
I was crazy about LP in 2000s. I still love their first album to death and brings so many memories but yes it's so hard to listen with all that happened. Feel really sorry for all the musicians in the band. To me Lostprophets IS Fakesoundofprogress and a couple songs from second album. Lost interest after. Great thing that you made this video though.
Good talk ! I keep on listening to their music ! Saw them live during the Weapons Tour in Paris, great show - Great band !
I feel exactly the same, although I think Start Something has some of the best guitar arrangements I have heard it’s TFSOP which continues to be my favorite album. I heard it in 2002 and it just changed my life the raw and the melodic side of each song just got inside of me.
I can definitely understand that. IMO you can't go wrong with any of the band's records :)
Cheers! 🤘🏻
Mate, you got some real balls on you! Wish some of the bigger channels were this brutally honest!
Haha, thanks man! 🤘🏻
100% agree. We shouldn't forget that the band was more than Watkins
Brilliant video bro well done!!!!!!!
Thanks! :)
I can listen to them now I've separated him from it. 5 other guys deserve our support n love
I'm glad someone has made a video about the music itself rather than just talking about Ian Watkins. As disgusting as he is, the music itself it's more important in some rare cases
Totally get what you mean.... I've been listening to them for 20 years... since the first NFSU was released
Stumbled across this video. You earned a sub
Much appreciated! :) Glad you enjoyed! 🤘🏻
The American release omits "We Are Godzilla, You Are Japan" and "Sway" has the first part as "Sway" itself and the second part "Outro".
Here's my perspective on Lostprophets:
When I was a kid, I was playing Need For Speed: Underground and found this song in the game's soundtrack: "To Hell We Ride" from Start Something. That's how I first heard about the band.
In Savox's video on 7 of the most evil musicians, Savox played a clip of "Rooftops". To be honest, I was afraid of checking out a couple of LP's songs on UA-cam because it would probably make me look like a bad person because I already heard about Ian's conviction. I actually wanted to check them out because I was curious, so I needed to hear some opinions on this situation. I found a someone asking a question on Quora if it's morally wrong to listen to LP with the knowledge of Ian's conviction. Two people answered and both of whom said no. I was also like, "Screw it. I'm only gonna live once."
I actually like the two songs "To Hell We Ride" and "Rooftops", and they're only two songs I have downloaded on my phone.
Great job man, I really liked Lp before the front man messed it all up for his band mates. Last Train Home still remains part of my teenage yrs and its almost impossible to find and play anymore
I am tired of pretending like they weren't great musicians.
They were really a consistent and tight band.
I was born in 2004 (Yeah im 17), and i love LP. In 2014 a friend recommended me 4AM Forever....I'm still listening to their 5 albums :)
I'm not that much older myself, so similiar boats :)
As someone who discovered their music through racing games (Forza Horizon 1 to be more specific), I still enjoyed the band even with Ian Watkins' despicable actions. I was horrified when I found out, and I struggled to accept listening to their music. It wasn't easy separating the art from the artist if you ask me. However, I've been picking up Lostprophets back up, and I am happy the other members are in a much better with No Devotion even if they've distanced themselves for a good reason. Thanks for the video.
Yeah, I remember Forza Horizon had 2 LP songs from the Weapons album. Crazy times.
I can also imagine that separating the art from the artist was even more difficult when the 'events' were more recent etc.
Cheers, man! 🙏🏻
@@FADEntertainment Track 1 and 2.
dude exactly. i still ove that band because like you said it still had 5 other legit musicians, this video was great and well spoken, thanks for giving my thought better words.
Somehow, I'm only just seeing this video.
A great summary of a fantastic band without doing it any injustice of going too much into "the elephant in the room."
I thought you might like this video on the same sort of topic.
It's Sean (Formerly of The Blackout) who was obviously once friends with IW, so much so they featured on eachothers albums (Ian appeared on The Blackout's song "It's High Tide Baby", and Sean provides the screamed vocals on "Everyday Combat").
But in this video he hits the nail on the head with the quote "let's not make 'Lostprophets' a dirty word."

Respect to ya for recognising that it is the integrity o the music that matters. Of course his Victims must not be forgotten, but this was outside of the bands control an tarnishing them only increases the amount of Victims. If people are unable to debate, or consider the music as it's own entity, then maybe their inability to do so represents their own lack of creative critical thinking!!
You know, that's the EXACT same argument I use when people give me crap when I show them my huge collection of Hitler paintings I keep above my alter. Man, what an artist! Troubled souls have the BEST TALENT!!!!
the band members knew, they were complicit, all the proof is out there, just look for it, or remain ignorant and just keep living under the assumption of "they band didnt know!" lmao
@@JaymeSplendid
He was actually a talented artist. And I say that as someone with a degree in art myself.
But the difference between what scum Ian is as a person and what the Austrian painter was about and fought for is fucking night and day. Your silly view of the painter consists only of what you’ve been taught to believe/think about him, as you have clearly never done any unbiased research into what actually happened back then and what he was really like. Do you seriously think that victors teach historical reality, much less the reality about their enemies in war? Get real. We are taught the dude is such a ridiculous cartoonish villain. It’s absurd.
Stop being so embarrassing.
@@JaymeSplendid
P.S. Not to mention how embarrassing it is that you instantly resorted to Godwin’s Law to shame people for merely listening to music. LMFAO!
This band is has some real unique style of guitar playing and singing. The drumming is so aggressive and smooth. A great band no one talks about that had a big effect on me.
Same here man It sucks what happen Lostprophets is between my top 10 fav bands
I absolutely despise IW for the horrible, inhumane crimes he's committed and I'm glad he's getting his just dessert by rotting in prison, he deserves a harsher punishment if you ask me but it's better than no punishment
As for the music, it makes me sad to see such good music and talent wasted, Start Something was an amazing album and The Fake Sound of Progress and Liberation Transmission were also very good albums
Man i really like LP, yo got the point... Also so i feel that Start Something was a truly masterpiece... Separate the music from the personal life of Ian.. hes work recording was so great. Also a shame and a particular way not to do the things in life for you all my friends... think the consecuences of all the things you do!. Love and peace! From Lima- Perú.
i still regualy listen to there albums while driving, i can never understand the idea of not seperating the art from the artist,
I want to add that Start Something wouldn’t be the album we all love without one of the best producers Eric Valentine who produced, recorded and mixed the album. For all us music lovers it’s valuable to understand almost all our favorite recordings were made with right people at right time.
Good video, I agree mostly, just haven't really got into thigs after Liberation Transmission, I discovered Underoath at thet time and then it led me to heavier music, but Lostprophets is still a band that I listen to, Discovered them from NFSUG they had a soundtrack "Ride", such a banger. So many memories...

In another timeline I wonder what a sixth Lostprophets album would have been like if Jamie Oliver was the lead singer and DJ Stepzak came back due to the fact of Jamie moving to the role of lead singer after I.W. was sentenced ?
We can only ever wonder, I'm afraid
@@FADEntertainment what sound would you have wanted the band to go with if a sixth album happened with Jamie as lead vocalist?
@@fridaythe13ththegamekills54 Well ideally it would have been nice for the band to make another album like Start Something, but I would have been fine with a continuation of what they had been doing with Weapons as well. As I mentioned in the video, the void left by lp really has never been filled, so just about any continuation would've done the job for me. (Plus the fact that I like all of their releases, no matter the direction)
@@FADEntertainment Would it be easier for certain people to listen to the band if they kept the Lostprophets name one last time with Jamie Oliver (replacing I.W. because he was sentenced) as lead singer on the weapons follow-up which in an alternative reality would be titled Emptiness before finally moving on to No Devotion in 2014 ?
Despite what went down in the end
I respect the music side of the band and I agree that the music should not be forgotten
If DJ Stepzak Returned in the alternate sixth album timeline what would the reaction be ?
I stopped listening for them in 2013, but same as you I can't stop listening to them.
I heared Burn Burn in Fifa 04 and Rooftops in Guitar Hero (I think World Tour) and got hooked.
But The Betrayed will ever have a place in my heart.
Nice to see that I'm not the only that can't stop listening to their Songs.
Sadly always after I listened an Album I have bad feelings coming to my mind about the things Ian did.
If I can't handle that I listen to No Devotion and Young Guns.
Two Great Bands and not just a replacement.
Listening to Shinobi vs Dragon Ninja forever though. Absolute banger
I got in to this LP because of hearing Last Train Home on the original NFL Street game & was hooked on the music from then on. Definitely can't say the same these days when I hear their music. I STILL feel disgusted to think about the monster you know who is.
I loved The Fake Sound Of Progress and Start Something.
I didn't really care for their later albums.
I still listen to those two sometimes.
mallory knox reminded me of lp
but yea i think that 2000s sound isnt gonna be coming out with new bands
its so hard to find new rock bands
Thanks
You should do an album ranking for this amazing band
I love so much mixing Sailor Moon with Lostprophets.
Exactly. Its fine to talk about this band as the other 5 members dont deserve being swept under the carpet.
There were 8 others because there was DJ Stepzak, Mike Chiplin and Ilan Rubin before.
Been listening to lost prophets again for first time in like 10 years , forgot all about them an wasn’t aware of what Ian did but, gotta seperate the artist from the art sometimes and just enjoy the music
If A Better Nothing was planned to be the fourth single to The Betrayed is it okay to count it as the fourth single ?
It never actually came out as a single, though.
@@FADEntertainment I still like to count it as one even though it was never released as one
I started to discover Lostprophets back on July 21 when a Sailor Moon fan who also loves the band commented on my Anti-Powerpuff Girls movement in a nutshell meme, and he posted two Lostprophets songs that reminds his hate with the show and even Craig McCracken.
Plus,I started to hear officially their songs since yesterday starting to Bring em Down, and they are really good! Shame that they disbanded just because the vocalist's atrocius decisions
Yo dude great video you look exactly like a younger @tellesmith 💯👏🏾👏🏾🔥
Thanks, man! Haven't heard that one before, haha
I like this you talk about there work
One of My favorite bands... Not afraid of saying it... Part of My youthh.... Big part of it...
Ótimo conteúdo e pena que hoje em dia é uma banda proibida de se citar mas separar sempre a banda do artista.
i used to love this band being a guy fro boston mass nobody knew who they was but yea fuccked me up when it all fell down
i literally discovered my love of music to them and mcr and fob and patd
Thanks
Start something, perfect
Lately is an awesome track
I’m still conflicted about listening to the music, as much as I loved them and still do, I feel disgusted because of him and I feel like I’m supporting him when I’m more for supporting the music and the rest of the group. I remember I spoke to my partner earlier in the year about how I felt and he basically said “considering the rest of the band is completely innocent and you really enjoy listening to them it’s okay, that does not mean you support that piece of shit” I still feel very uncomfortable though.
