- Today we've got another great demo through the Alessandro Beagle, but today we're going back to 1963 with a Gibson Firebird III! This beautiful sunburst guitar is everything you'd want in a vintage Firebird - a pair of great pickups, a vibrato system, no replaced parts with an excellent recent re-fret by master luthier Mark Tossman! Jay is totally in love with this instrument so he'll tell you all about it before handing things off to Aaron Hiebert for the demo.

I've been loving all the Aaron Hiebert demos!
I couldn’t agree more.
I can’t begin to imagine the tens of thousands of hours Aaron has been playing to reach the level he has.
Well done my good man! Looking forward to the next!
Yeah, Aaron rocks!!!
🔊Aaron did it again, Awesome soundz 🕺
Dang, Aaron! Someone had their Wheaties that day, eh? It's always a thrill to hear you play, brother.
I'll be honest did not expect that jam, well done sir
Alessandro amps are amazing
I can't believe this guy hasn't made it to the big time in some band. He is so talented. Some one sign this guy.
Talent is the least important aspect of making it these days unfortunately
Check out shaggysweet band. Instagram and UA-cam both have lots of videos if you search on Aaron Hiebert
Killer guitar and killer playing from Aaron!
I owned one of these originals ... one of the best axe's I have ever owned. Only sold it to pay a medical bill. Really miss it. It had a Jordan BossTone fuzz built right into the pickguard, which sounded incredible. When I strapped on this BIRD, I KNEW I was attached to a real guitar. BTW: I took off the crummy Gibson one- piece bridge, milled out the ends of a Tunamatic bridge and it fit right into the original studs, so I could adjust the string length. Pretty smart, what? I was playing mine somewhere around 1971-72. And don't ever apologize for refretting a good instrument ... only adds to its playability and value as far as I am concerned! Fab playing, BTW.
That middle position is pure heaven.
The beautiful amp and great playing don't hurt either!
Great demo!
Ladies and gentleman though: the greatest guitar speaker ever made. Bar none.
Aaron tearing it up on that one!
Love you guys and the channel
3:54 - OK, the Satriani surprised me here. Great job!
Awesome tone for Satriani too!!
From this day forward, ALL guitars should be demoed by Aaron Hiebert. He's a monster.
If I ever sell my ‘58 burst I’m going to these guys. Seem like legit doods/business 👍🏻
WoW!
I got to play that Firebird, it's cool. The headstock gets a little heavy with those banjo tuners on there, but ECG has done a nice job of getting it playing great. My impression, not having owned a Firebird, is that there's a decent learning curve with Firebirds - they're different than any Fender but also pretty different than any other Gibson, maybe most like some of those 60s solid body Epiphones. Sounds like the Alessandro amp likes the mini humbuckers!
Just wondering.. I thought the neck and center body are all one piece on the Firebird (neck-through construction), so curious about the "never having the neck off" part. Nice sound on this one!
I have been critical of ECG running the amps too hard and going fuzzy when at full volume , but this is a great git amp combo, sounding really nice and open with some great playing.
Firebird is my new guitar crush. Too bad I'm a lefty :| Awesome demo!
Does Aaron make music? This guy is more interesting than most guitar players out there.
Check out shaggysweet band. Lots of videos on youtube. They play in the Seattle area.
Great guitar You guys should give the option of shipping w a different case if buyers doesn't want the tuners pulled That's what I would request Good stuff 👍
Great tones but the crooked labels on the amp control panel are driving my OCD crazy haha
While Clapton is better known for making history with a Les Paul, an SG and an ES-335, the legendary guitarist often turned to an early '60s Firebird during his tenures with Blind Faith, Delaney and Bonnie and even Cream.
Right you are, but Clapton used a Firebird 1 which was a one pickup guitar
Fascinating gentlemen
Johnny Winter
