When I first got it, I left it in gear a few times, but learned to make sure I move it out of gear as part of the shut down procedure. Once you've had the bike awhile it is just part of the way you do it. Kinda like putting on your seat belt in your car. Thanks for watching.

I’ve had some old Japanese bikes that would do that, learned if i didn’t see Green light don’t press starter😅
