When Tiffany Stratton and Aoife Valkyrie put on a better match than your main event, you have some major issues.
Dragunov and Dijak had an amazing match in NXT compared to this and especially Jericho and Cole….

On a recent interview, Danielson seemed happy but man they absolutely blew it not putting the title on him when he was absolutely scorching. He should've gotten a lengthy reign and be the one that Punk feuded instead of Hangnail
As for Claudio, it's absolutely ridiculous how much of an afterthought he is despite being a "world champion," BCC gotta be one of the worst ideas from AEW and that speaks a lot.

I find ways online to watch(in the beginning I wanted to believe in AEW. It didn't take many months in to realize where it was heading, as many others in these comments knew back then as well. I watched this ppv, and I swear, you can tell even their die hard fans who are still coming to these shows are becoming immune to it. This was a very dead crowd on this night for all the things happening they claim to love about AEW. Basically this company would have gone under if it didn't have a billionaire mark behind it to keep throwing flaming money at it.
It's just modern day WCW trying to be ECW with a very very deluded dwindling audience

Theirs one bloke in a white t-shirt who sat front row not moving a muscle with his arms crossed. This little wrestling troupe is beyond a joke.
I think the reason the Double of Nothing crowd was so quiet was because they were sleeping off all those calorie bomb cheeseburgers they ate to get those free tickets.

Aew isn't a wrestling company. I know Jim hated Lucha Underground, but even that was more of a wrestling show than aew.
LU fully committed to their presentation. I respect that. They tried something completely different and some of it works for certain situations (like Taker/Styles).
Lucha underground was meant to be silly and fun as part of the product. Not a side affect of bad booking. We were meant to take this match very seriously apparently

I don’t think it even deserves 5 💩. This may be the worst wrestling match I’ve ever seen especially when you consider the talent involved. I love Corny but don’t always agree with him some times I think he is too hard on wrestlers or even out of touch which is fine it literally happens to everyone as they get older but this match. I mean I don’t understand how anyone could tell any of these guys that this match didn’t suck. They are suppose to be the best wrestlers in the world and not one of them thought to change anything when laying it out. That is scary especially when you consider the future of wrestling. It’s wasnt fun, hard hitting, competitive, Hell it wasn’t even funny it was sad and cringe and lowered the star power of every guy in the match. They should literally be ashamed of this match.

IF that is the case, AEW STILL has audio issues, FOUR YEARS into their runtime... regardless. It's so frustrating as a fan that they are not fixing some of the most obvious and glaring issues they have

Same…but there have been times that I have gotten curious enough after Jim’s rants that I would try find clips to see how bad it was.
I don’t watch Yellowstone, I think it’s awful. I like to listen to this podcast about it that describes every moment of the show, in detail, and then explains how they can make the show better as they make fun of the bad parts of it. They even talk about behind the scenes drama, new actors that might come on the show, and the tv contract for the show. It’s really in depth. But watching that show is a total waste of time, I just want to hear the podcasters opinions about it rather than form my own objective opinion. Hate that show.

the crowd was dead because it was half comps. these are normal people that are interested enough to invest an evening into going to a wrestling show and weren't impressed with what they saw.
production was lost, and the cutting back and forth was hilarious.
i was seeing fans pop over yuta getting the pin, but it's incidental to the angle with ole' take. all the attention was on sterling and take after the match ended. i like take, and im honestly kinda pissed because i don't want to see take work with omega. one positive i will mention is that yuta can throw a better working punch than pretty much everyone that was in that "match".

Just watched a two-minute clip of the The Elite VS BBC and my God what a Trainwreck of a match that was. It's like Tony Khan and writers couldn't come up with individual matches for each one of these wresttlers. So they just put them in a hardcore style match 🤦

They have a serious problem with pushing young wrestlers. They don’t need to push their friends they need to push who the fans get behind. Jericho/Moxley/Bryan/Kenny/Bucks all of them are trying to cram their friends down our throats and tell us how great they are but the guys aren’t showing us anything. A win over a top guy means nothing if no one cares it just hurts the top guy. I mean instead of sticking these guys in the main event when no one wants them there how about just put them on the card in cool little midcard feuds give them wins over jobbers and midcard guys in good matches as let them show the fans how good they are and if the fans finally start getting behind a guy then maybe let him have a small run at the top and lose to a top guy give them something to overcome so the fans can get behind them. Right now we know they are friends with the top guys that’s why they get such good spots on the card but it doesn’t seemed earned at all and it’s like a bunch of little Roman reigns circa 2016 on AEW but way smaller and with even less talent but taking spots from guys fans actually want to see it’s just making people hate them not like them. And these guys are suppose to be professionals freaking act like it.

I am a AEW Fan. However this was a Garbage PPV. I am glad I didn't pay for this PPV. What a bunch of xrap thrown together.

@@WillS724 Brother, there were parts of the PPV where I wanted to leave the room. I was like wtf, Sabu gonna be back up!!!!! (When Adam Cole announced the backup last Wednesday on Dynamite). I absolutely marked for it! Maybe because growing up I watched
ECW! I know Sabu has so many past injuries and I wouldn't want the dude to get hurt. However they could of had him like stuck around and not wrestle. Even having Sabu's presence would of been enough! Dude disappeared midway throughout match. Also I got to give it to Jay Lethal, Mark Brisco and FTR. (Big fans of The Brisco Bros and Jay Lethal back in ROH). I am ashamed what kind of crappy booking/creative they have been involved in. Karen Jarrett should have NO MEANS EVER BE SIGNED/ELITE! If I want to watch Karen Jarrett, I'd go back on YT and watch the Fall of TNA.
I can go on about the garbage PPV. However I am not getting 3 hours of my life back! Forbidden Door may not replace the awful stench I watched. However I just hope it will make up for the garbage PPV we just watched.
