I got 1 so I can print ABS or other tougher filaments I think it's so funny when you see someone get an X1C and only print with PLA it's so hilarious

On the PEEK thing, there is someone on Reddit who successfully printed with PEKK (not PEEK) with a Qidi X-Plus 3. The Q1 Pro has the same temperature capabilities as the Plus 3, so while I still believe that PEEK might be out of their operational range as stock, PEKK doesn't appear to be.

Q1 has 5c lower chamber temp, also you can print pekk in theory but you still need much higher chamber temp for proper layer adhesion or larger models. You could print pps though, temps are in range.

I got my xmax3 up to 90 celsius chamber temp just by lining the inside with reflective foam board. I just need someone to come out with a compatible 400 degree+ hot end.

@@tangodown2721 it is not an issue to make a 450c capable hotend, but at 90c you can damage other parts inside long term unless you heavily mod it with water cooling. But good luck, sounds fun, tell me if you succeed :)

@@riba2233 i guess it would be like printing ABS with an unenclosed printer, it does work, but only for very low warp parts.

Easily the highest value that has come out this year.

Btw your nylon was wet. In general you need to print it directly from a dry box, but this specific nylon filament from esun is extremely moisture sensitive and has to be dried basically in an oven and then printed from a dry box.
