There's so many 5×120 wheels coming out , so maybe the fact I see these in my feed daily is why I am so excited for this build. Stoked to see this restored to it's former glory with sauce.

Instead of commenting about the previous owners lack of maintenance, they blamed PA winters and road salt. PA cars overall are not bad. I live in Lancaster PA BTW. I have bought cars from all over PA, one from NJ, and two from NY. The NY car was the worst. One of my friends has bought at least 3 cars from MD. All 3 were garbage.
The car did not wreck at that corner, neither did the Honda Fit the driver did! However I'm glad to see you repairing it so that it can live on.. These things happen, everyone was okay and the car can be rebuilt and live on!

Good to see that airbag sensors are still super exposed and vulnerable to damage during a crash. I had the smashed one sitting in my center console forever to remind me of how it didn't fire after my body shop pulled it out of my 8th gen civic after I had a head on collision.
They're not exposed at all, the system self-tests on every ignition cycle and if a sensor can't be detected it immediately throws a fault. Airbags aren't guaranteed to deploy in a crash, it depends on a ton of variables. Ben was wrong when he said you just need one sensor - the system needs multiple inputs before it decides to fire an inflator.
maybe a good Paintless dent repair can fix your rear quarter damage. might be more expensive to do than just replacing it. but with a PDR, you dont have to cut the rear quarter up. to presereve its structural integrity. really excited with this FL5 rebuild. looking forward for next weeks upload.
The integrity was already comprised when it crumpled. I can't wait to see how good the repair looks when it's done. Master body guys are amazing to watch.

got my clean title 2023 fl5 for 44,500 and some accessories tint, ppl film upgraded steering, upgraded shift nob, full after market carpets, cover for car etc.
Honda technician here: you have to remove the headliner to replace the side curtain for the airbag. Most of your lights in the dash are all related to one or two problems, when a lght is trigerred, all the rest are following…

I tracked mine in July in Texas and didn't overheat. Obviously I did cooldown laps and I'm not a pro, but I think it'll be fine for most people

They still overheat in 10-15 minutes of hot laps with a fast driver. Common occurrence here at Sonoma and Laguna Seca.

Usa should adopt the mpr (maximum retail price) it is set by the manufacturer the control the prine and make sure such mark up doesn't take place

Upgrade to the PWR track radiator too. That radiator alone will solve the R cooling issues. Im running pwr track and dont suffer from overheating
