Beautiful song 9/10 I feel like this song is a ode to everyone who lost theier parrents!! Floor sings the sentence, i was the one who climbed of your back not long ago, same words used in the song Our decades in the sun, and that song is surely a ode to our parrents, that basicly why i say its about lost parrents, who became stardust..
Great reaction, thank you! The whole album is a masterpiece, a great mixture of heavy and soft and I love both. In my opinion NW is a genre of its own - yes, they play really heavy songs but also soft and moving ballads. And who dares to say "this is not Nightwish" - only NW has the right to say what they are. This song is so beautiful and brings me to tears, Floor and Troy sound great together in this song. His voice has a totally other quality (and power) as Marko's has; you should not compare them. I love both of them.
The staccato in the instrumental break was design so as the the strings to be rhythmically in synch with the film projector sound/noise. Very nice touch. Great review.
This album is for sure one to get into from begin to end in one go to let all the emotions get to you. And the emotions definitely will come. This is the last song of the album with the noise of ending of the film reel. The album starts with the film reel beginning to unwind.
Oh the 18:01 doubling of Floor's face there at the end and what it could possibly mean? I'm reminded of Janus, the Roman god looking into the past/future simultaneously, representing the passage of time. Just a wild guess tho, but it would perfectly fit the message/vibe.
Interesting as that was not composed by metal Mozart.... But I also have a lot of deja vues with this album, like the piano after the intro of this song: Schubert, Erlkönig ua-cam.com/video/icDGuppXoi0/v-deo.html
this people are such babies " mama , mama this is not metal, i want metal, i want metal , i want metal !!!! " grow up , have some life experience and your musical taste will get bigger. And you start to appreciate more beautiful music than just what you like as a kid .
@@BracchiAlessandroFineArt I'm old woman and I like this song, but in this album is too much peaceful songs. Nw is a symphonymetal band and ofcourse I wait metal. We haven't it almost at al!. So please don't mock us.
@@Laura-rq8gx symphonic metal is the label more neasr to describe NW , ma after 30 years is a limiting label, they are more than that. I understand some fans want what they like or liked in the past, as i grow in all this years with them i also changed , and now is not the musical genre that is intreresting me, but meaning ,concept and the emotions of song, instead as only how they sound.
Nightwish doesn't make symphonic metal ... Nightwish makes Nightwish music. At the latest with this song even the last one should have understood that Nightwish is not just a metal band, but something unique.
Such a gorgeous song. 200 percent emotion. The work of genius and enormously gifted people
Floor is the perfect woman
Beautiful song, really touching
Tuomas wrote this as a tribute to his father, who passed away not long ago.
My father passed away in the height of the pandemic and my first thoughts when hearing this was of him, so this makes perfect sense.
@@AlvenmodFoto so sorry for your loss
🤗🍒🤘🏻 Great great job Tim, amazing song huh ? 🎶🎼

Directed by Stobe Harju, cinematography by Henri Blomberg, google them!
I find alot of the parts sound like "The fight goes on: for Warchild."

And at 9:12 think of that music box "Davy Jones Theme" straight out of Pirates.
Compouser Tuomas Holopainen metal Mozart
esto esta lejos de ser una balada metal, su voz es muy pop, parece una cancion de Adele o Christina Aguilera.
Si y?
