The plastic bag is not overkill. It is almost required when enjoying the beverages served on the streets while riding, the bag hangs on a clip from the motorbike. You should have told him in advance NO BAG if you knew you'd be walking.

Leaf blower - when I visit places that are different than mine I try to just accept them. Some things I fine better than where I am from and others confuse me. There are plenty of things in my own country that could be improved on.

Hi Paddy, you give a glimpse of Borneos beauty, the walk in the rainforest just you alone was awesome - but the encounter with the "leafe blower" was crazy - your words "I`m speechless sometimes the world and sometimes the Humanity renders you speechless" - so true ! The plants, the trees are stunning and the sound of cicadas is insane ! I love your exploring to find outstanding Nature, animals like the Hornbills, and Orangutans ❤!❤Thanks a lot Paddy D.👍🙏Borneo is beautiful, i will see more.....

The dude with the leaf blower was telling the birds an animals that they can come back out of hiding, because the man with the bright orange shirt, who had scared them, was leaving the area.😂

    Hiya Paddy.
Your base looks clean and comfy. I love your spirit for adventure. You are brave going solo. I know sometimes it must get lonely. But you meet new people along the way.
How wonderful to do things at your own pace.
The rainforest center is gorgeous. Love the sounds. So calming.
So many areas cleared for Palm oil is shocking and sad.
Love seeing all the tropical plants. The leaf blower man. I am with you when they should be doing it. Shocking. Don't make excuses for him, Paddy. LOL.
Wow. The trees. Spectacular. The base of the tree was huge to start with. Beautiful.
The canopy walk was beautiful. That one I could do.
    Beautiful baby eagle.
I Love seeing the footage of the views when you are riding your bike. It really feels like we are on route with you.
Orangutans are beautiful. Amazing footage. Wow, what an experience to be that close.
That mall was an eyesore. You deserve that beer. Every series you do is enjoyable.
And I love being a member. As I am off to watch the next episode. Perfect music, as always.

Ah, those giant trees! So so cool!! Trying to capture that on video is not easy but even in person it is hard for the mind to comprehend how large those trees really are. 😊 Spectacular!
The orangutans... such precious creatures. I had a neat experience once at a zoo where a Mama orangutan was showing off her baby, right at the window. It was so sweet.
Great footage so far! What a beautiful place to visit!

Yo Paddy, chill on the plastic bag interaction. I get that he didn’t come off as the nicest man but giving him a lecture on bags seemed excessive. And slightly colonial. It’s unnecessary to me but you know this is all over the place in SEA. We got some dumb stuff too but they don’t squawk at us. Anyways, I’m a fan. Keep up the good work.

As I'm sure you know, be careful what you touch in the forest and Ocean. Many things will hurt you and look innocent! Fire coral, sap from plants, fire ants, bugs that love to eat on you, etc. I hope you are right about almost 50% forest left. Palm oil production and logging is ruthless to the forest and animals! It's big business for some Greedy souls!

The preservation of a reasonable amount of forest is a great thing. The animals are able to thrive.
A developing country needs to capitalize on its resources though.
I read that a country in 1086 began to cut its forests and by 1905 2/3 of the forest had been cut down. They were developing. It's a natural progression. That country was England.
    Take care.

Nature is here to stay if humans learn to see through the beauty of it n to preserve it for the future generation. It is never a boring adventure to get close to the rain forest in Bornoe indeed.. just sharing my thoughts. TQ
