The plastic bag is not overkill. It is almost required when enjoying the beverages served on the streets while riding, the bag hangs on a clip from the motorbike. You should have told him in advance NO BAG if you knew you'd be walking.
This is your best series so far. Beautiful editing, excellent commentary and very instructional. Hope to do the trip someday. Always outdoing yourself! Thanks.
Leaf blower - when I visit places that are different than mine I try to just accept them. Some things I fine better than where I am from and others confuse me. There are plenty of things in my own country that could be improved on.
Hi Paddy, you give a glimpse of Borneos beauty, the walk in the rainforest just you alone was awesome - but the encounter with the "leafe blower" was crazy - your words "I`m speechless sometimes the world and sometimes the Humanity renders you speechless" - so true ! The plants, the trees are stunning and the sound of cicadas is insane ! I love your exploring to find outstanding Nature, animals like the Hornbills, and Orangutans ❤!❤Thanks a lot Paddy D.👍🙏Borneo is beautiful, i will see more.....
The dude with the leaf blower was telling the birds an animals that they can come back out of hiding, because the man with the bright orange shirt, who had scared them, was leaving the area.😂
Hiya Paddy. Your base looks clean and comfy. I love your spirit for adventure. You are brave going solo. I know sometimes it must get lonely. But you meet new people along the way. How wonderful to do things at your own pace. The rainforest center is gorgeous. Love the sounds. So calming. So many areas cleared for Palm oil is shocking and sad. Love seeing all the tropical plants. The leaf blower man. I am with you when they should be doing it. Shocking. Don't make excuses for him, Paddy. LOL. Wow. The trees. Spectacular. The base of the tree was huge to start with. Beautiful. The canopy walk was beautiful. That one I could do. Beautiful baby eagle. I Love seeing the footage of the views when you are riding your bike. It really feels like we are on route with you. Orangutans are beautiful. Amazing footage. Wow, what an experience to be that close. That mall was an eyesore. You deserve that beer. Every series you do is enjoyable. And I love being a member. As I am off to watch the next episode. Perfect music, as always.
Ah, those giant trees! So so cool!! Trying to capture that on video is not easy but even in person it is hard for the mind to comprehend how large those trees really are. 😊 Spectacular! The orangutans... such precious creatures. I had a neat experience once at a zoo where a Mama orangutan was showing off her baby, right at the window. It was so sweet. Great footage so far! What a beautiful place to visit!
Great edition Paddy! A little more touristy than your preference I am sure but still capturing the unique aspects of a very interesting and exotic place. I very much appreciate you sharing this with us.
Nice overview of Borneo, Paddy. It would be interesting if you could bring us some experience of Borneo’s Headhunters by visiting one of the village by the river.
Love the video Paddy ❤ My husband and I have never been to Borneo but it is now on our bucket list:) once we make our move to Thailand sometime in about a year from now, it will most likely be easier to visit! It will be much closer & no need for a long haul flight 😊Thanks for sharing 🙏🏼
I’m spending a month in Vietnam in 2 weeks and would like to visit another country when I go. where would you recommend?! i have loved watching all of your videos around south east asia!
Definitely a fantastic place to do some birdwatching and amazing wildlife Then the leaf 🍃 blower haha …Freaking noisy 😂. That was hilarious.. Yes the world we live in .
Great video Paddy. The rain forest is amazing, love finding cool new thing. Hopefully you will go to the Amazon someday. One of thing I don't like about Asia they way over use plastic bags. There are much worse things than a guy with a leaf blower. He's got to make a living. hahaha
Really enjoyed your latest video! 👍 Just wanted to mention, it seems like there might be a paid promotion in there, but I didn't see a disclosure. I watch enough advertising on YT already without more being rammed down my throat.
Hey man, we're in Malaysia now, do you ever worry/take any precautions for mosquitos and Dengue? We want to do some tropical walks but it seems the hot topic around here at the moment
PaddyDoyle: Yeah, let's go to this nature preservation center and see if we can watch some wild, shy interesting animals! DoylePaddy: Excellent idea! Let's put on a flashy orange t-shirt, maybe those wild, shy interesting animals will be attracted! PaddyDoyle: Such a great idea! 😂😂😂 I love your way of seeing life, Paddy!
In that orangutan sanctuary, if the jungle was all around and there were no fences, I wonder what would prevent other animals, particularly predators, from coming in? This is what I wondered.
Hi friend, awesome! Excellent content overall and presentation. Content that inspires and motivates many people. Please keep uploading good videos. Have a healthy and happy day always!
It's wild how similar the experience and even Sepilok town are to Serwak on the other side of the country, Specifically Kuching and Semenggogh Organgutan rescue
Yo Paddy, chill on the plastic bag interaction. I get that he didn’t come off as the nicest man but giving him a lecture on bags seemed excessive. And slightly colonial. It’s unnecessary to me but you know this is all over the place in SEA. We got some dumb stuff too but they don’t squawk at us. Anyways, I’m a fan. Keep up the good work.
As I'm sure you know, be careful what you touch in the forest and Ocean. Many things will hurt you and look innocent! Fire coral, sap from plants, fire ants, bugs that love to eat on you, etc. I hope you are right about almost 50% forest left. Palm oil production and logging is ruthless to the forest and animals! It's big business for some Greedy souls!
The preservation of a reasonable amount of forest is a great thing. The animals are able to thrive. A developing country needs to capitalize on its resources though. I read that a country in 1086 began to cut its forests and by 1905 2/3 of the forest had been cut down. They were developing. It's a natural progression. That country was England. Take care.
Maybe it is an idea to try to blend in with the environment a bit more. Wearing a bright orange shirt doesn’t really help if you are searching for a hornbill 😅
Every corner on earth is a blessed place if someone should treasure n appreciate it as it is.. This is what it is. Nature is here to stay if humans learn to see through the beauty of it n to preserve it for the future generation. It is never a boring adventure to get close to the rain forest in Bornoe indeed.. just sharing my thoughts. TQ
Thanks for watching this episode from Borneo Malaysia!
Subscribe to the channel and never miss an adventure 🤟

I have fiends in Kota Kinabalu Malasia and have been invited.
I really do want to go there and visit !
Three points to Magpies and Paddys new video 🏁🎉 Great day. Greetings from Finland 🇫🇮

thanks for watching John
Great video Paddy!!!! 2 thumbs up my friend!!!!
Cheers Paddy lovely video,,,peace and happiness on your travels
Yeah.. you made it here in Sandakan 🤩👍🏻
That looks like a nice place to visit.
yeah it was fun
I love this video! One of your best videos!
Thank you
Looking forward to the three day experience!!!!
Love you channel Paddy.Borneo is a wonderful place. I had a great holiday there too.
To be honest there's nothing wrong with the leaf blower. Without it over time the leaves would gather and the trail wouldn't look obvious anymore.
Awesome again Paddy, great content as always 😀🥰🥰
I recommend going to the rainforest discovery centre at night and on a guided tour. We saw much more that way
Nice overview of Borneo, Paddy. It would be interesting if you could bring us some experience of Borneo’s Headhunters by visiting one of the village by the river.

Paddy your videos are truly amazing
I'm surprised you don't have more subscribers
I’m spending a month in Vietnam in 2 weeks and would like to visit another country when I go. where would you recommend?! i have loved watching all of your videos around south east asia!
What a great experience and nice to see that this is being done to help preserve what is an amazing species. ❤
yeah it was a fun few days in this area

they do use way too much plastic, it's worse in Thailand to be fair
Thank You for this 👏👏
Great video great trip - great times.....good luck on your trip...thank you for your work. 👍
I see you did Borneo and Bali too. I highly recommend Sumatra to you.
Really enjoyed your latest video! 👍 Just wanted to mention, it seems like there might be a paid promotion in there, but I didn't see a disclosure. I watch enough advertising on YT already without more being rammed down my throat.
I just returned from Borneo. Was just loving the video until the leaf blower. Can't continue, so sad.

😂😂😂 I love your way of seeing life, Paddy!
We all got to see the elusive Borneo Leaf Blower.
Patiently waiting here for the next episode😁
4 hours and counting 😅 (next weeks episode already in members area) ❤
I think wearing the most brightest neon orange shirt was a bad choice 😂😂😂 you don't need to worry about the leaf blower cuz u a walking hazard sign
Nice vlog again..all the best
Amin
Paddy great video. Where did you rent the motorcycle from and how much was it per day?
In that orangutan sanctuary, if the jungle was all around and there were no fences, I wonder what would prevent other animals, particularly predators, from coming in? This is what I wondered.
I like the music in this video...
What a wonderful experience to see the Orang-utans
100%
15:18 - I think that he will be eating a lot of small monkeys and other mammals, as well as fish
next visit surely Danum Valley ❤
Just got back and apparently was way lucky at Sepilok, at least a dozen mothers with babies and an Alpha Male at the feeding platform.
Hi friend, awesome! Excellent content overall and presentation. Content that inspires and motivates many people. Please keep uploading good videos. Have a healthy and happy day always!
They don’t sell alcohol by the Sandakan waterfront? Wondering if it’s the same in Sarawak especially Kuching…
It's wild how similar the experience and even Sepilok town are to Serwak on the other side of the country, Specifically Kuching and Semenggogh Organgutan rescue
Haha!Must have a big sign: Cautious: Beware of leaves blowers
The leafblower 😅😅
I appreciate Paddy’s travels and point of view, but I think the series could benefit from a co-adventurer’s perspective or more special guests.
Best of the best
How's Miss P? Haven't heard mention of her in a long time....
Doing great back home! Supporting behind the scenes😉
Sun bear will run away with the sound of the blower.
And we know which of the two has the smaller carbon footprint... :D
Fully agree
Hey don't shoot the messenger he's just doing his job..just go further down the track
Paddy. Not sure about those sunspecs, shape could be better for those chiselled features of yours.
Translucent jelly coming out of the tip 😉
Your calves are huge, my friend. I am jealous! haha
Bright Orange t shirt users and leaf blowers 😂😂😂
As I'm sure you know, be careful what you touch in the forest and Ocean. Many things will hurt you and look innocent! Fire coral, sap from plants, fire ants, bugs that love to eat on you, etc. I hope you are right about almost 50% forest left. Palm oil production and logging is ruthless to the forest and animals! The leaf blower guy 🤦♂️😂
haha yeah what a fail
Bro the Asian logic is that nobody is @8 o’clock in any park. Hahaha
Only thing thicker than that giant tree is your calf muscles
The preservation of a reasonable amount of forest is a great thing. The animals are able to thrive.

Take care.
The guy at 2:12 seems to be saying "Who's this noisy cnt".
👍👍
I hear that the money people are not giving up in the desire to clear forests and grow more palm oil…
The gov is committed to citizens/nation we keep at 50% rain forest
Also many large companies have ESG policies (environment social governance)
There is also replanting in sarawak borneo. But of course that becomes secondary forest. Not virgin forest.
that´s not true !!! a leaf blower in the jungle ??? the maddest invention ever
Maybe it is an idea to try to blend in with the environment a bit more. Wearing a bright orange shirt doesn’t really help if you are searching for a hornbill 😅
He was trying to look like an orang utan to blend in -- orange man of the forest 😊
Wait a minute, BORNEO wasn't in Malaysia, borneo are Indonesia. 😂
i hope you never saw the garbage on the street and canal in sandakan 😆
I wonder if the Hornbill is the Fruitloops bird...
I think it might be haha
It could be a Toucan.
I know no logic!
It seems that Borneo is one of the most boring places in the world. So far the weakest series on this channel. Still, looks you are having fun. Peace!
