as someone who played this game as a kid and since then always here and there a bit, it is amazing that people still play it and even make videos about it, glad this came in my recommended

Scarab Pendant is S tier. +50% attack against buildings for Portable Ram, Siege Tower, Helepolis, Fire Siphon, Fire Lance, +20% for Scarabs and Behemots.

Reed of Nekhbet is still available in the Campaign. It shows up in Jackal's Stronghold mission.

@@mooseaom to be fair in that campaign you don't get a tech that give ships damage vs myth units that came with the Titan expansion. so your ships without it took longer to kill the turtles and they can mess up your ships pretty well.
I know Black Lotus is mainly known from MTG but the card is probably referring to the OG Conan The Barbarian stories, which feature Black Lotus among other colors. Referential theories aside glad to have found your channel!

Also for the infantry/missile unit damage or resistances, if it was like 20/25% more damage, or 20/25% more resistance then that would actually be impactful.
The one shot hunt is really good on Atlantean
Canopic jar of imsety is c tier, since if you get it on the norse once and go for a infantrie strat, with ulfsarks, huscarl and throwing axeman, especialy with thor, you not only train extremly speedy bit also have a counter for nearly everything
it's really weird on how they make harter's folly a thing when there's a pelt of argus, the latter is just straight superior in any other way because it should affect your scout too. At the very least they should upgrade it to +12 or just remove it because it is just that useless lmao
Nice vid! I wanted to get into aom titans but I really don't know how to get it anymore (where to buy it and how to set up voobly). I play the extended edition but it is just awful... chinese, lag, random updates to Gods... also nose of the sphinx is based
I havent played in years so correct me if im wrong, but i think Fetters of fenrir was a hard counter to the fimbulwinter wolves. Obviously very situational but can be used against norse enemy. Still not amazing but maybe a tier higher if that is the case. Again its been years since i played. I just got pushed a bunch of aom vids and have been watching and wanting to play again
Make a tierlist of all god upgrades
The fetters of fenrir can counter set animals. It has a function so I think it should go from e to d tier. Also how do you put monkeys so much lower when they would give you that extra benefit in early fights just like the lions? Plus I don’t think they cost any population so there isn’t a reason not to grab it. If they’re too slow for movement at least they can scout or defend something. Lastly I wanna say that I usually only play on lightning mode and those relics that trickle in resources are so good on that game mode
True I didn’t think about the set animals, it should be D tier. Maybe the monkeys are decent, I’ve not seen them for so long but I probably put them too low. I’ve not played much lighting but I can imagine those relics being great
for the AI pelt of argus is useless since they already know where you set up shop they never have to scout your position to know. leave it for them to waste time picking up to get something else.
Staff of Dionysus was wrongly evaluated; it says +20 hunt capacity, not +20% which would put it at 60 instead of 70.

Anvil of Hephaestus is actually worse for Greeks who go Forge of Olympus (FoO). Either you’re more incentivised to get the armoury upgrades prior to FoO, in which case you save less res from FoO than what you would if got those upgrades after FoO (since 50% > 10%) or if you get upgrades after getting FoO then you actually only get a 5% reduction in costs from Anvil of Hephaestus because of how the bonuses stack.
E.g. Take Copper Weapons:
Normal Cost: 200G, 200W
FoO cost: 100G, 100W (200 of 400 res saved, or 50%)
FoO + Anvil of Hephaestus cost: 90G, 90W (220 of 400 res saved, or 55% - Anvil only saves an additional 5%)
Just Anvil of Hephaestus (I.e. non-Greek) cost: 180G, 180W (40 of 400 res saved, or 10% - Anvil saves 10% of cost).
So Anvil of Hephaestus is actually better for non-Greek than it is for the Greek civs.

The resource trickle ones would be better if it was either 1 resource per second or 1 resource for every 2 or 3 seconds. 60 food; wood or gold a minute sounds good, any maybe 20 or 30 favour a minute would be good.
1 resource a second would definitely make them a bit better
@@mooseaom errn resources in a pinch doesn't hurt they stack with Isis and Hades research so still a little extra. I like the ankh of Ra for Greek cause i always forget to assign villagers to the temple till late so having that extra favor to cover my negligence is super useful to me.
