I'm a graphic design student. We have weeks dedicated to practice where we sit behind computers and do certain designing tasks. I set my icons to large just as a joke. My teacher saw it a day later and asked me if I'm having trouble seeing (asking me, who wears glasses...). I told her no, I just wanted it like this. She gave me a weird look.

As entertaining as this is, it's disgusting how angry this scammer gets just because the person he is trying to steal from is not giving him the money he thinks he is entitled to.
i had to pause it a few times because his anger was really making my anxiety flare. I love these calls and that he is an expert at wasting their time and improvising, he's funny, but their anger and screaming just sounds demonic. I could never imagine getting so angry at someone 1) i don't know 2) i'm trying to scam 3) over something I am in not a second percent entitled to. It's hard to listen

I'm an Indian and I'm a big fan of Kitboga. He has mastered a way to frustrate these bloody scammers. From the scammer's perspective, they want innocent victims, but the "old lady" is "way too innocent" that she redeems the cards on her own computer. A lesson of karma to the scammer 🤣. I hope Kitboga clones himself into multiple copies, each of them keeping a scammer occupied until their dirty jobs become obsolete and eventually lose their minds

SpydersByte Agree. But it may not always be easy to convince your mom or dad to hand over control of their money - and not every old person has kids or someone else they can trust to do it. Plus some may not want to do it.
As a brand new Walmart employee, I can tell you that we ARE trained on this stuff. There are limits put in place for how much money you can put on the cards at once, and how many cards total you can buy (hence why they only want you to buy four $500 cards). You have to put down personal information if your total exceeds $2000. We also have to inquire after people, especially the elderly, if they're purchasing large amounts, or mention anything scammy-sounding. So yes! We're trained to stop this nonsense. :D

Idea for future old-person characters: when I worked in a call center, a lot of old people couldn’t handle talking and typing/working the computer at the same time so they would constantly listen to an instruction then go “ok, let me just put the phone down and do that” ... it was SOOO frustrating and took so long. Especially when they misunderstood an instruction. So many elderly people also didn’t understand where the browser bar was so we’d spend forever trying to figure out where they were typing the web address into. Sometimes they would be typing it into google or their email and be like “nothings happening!” 😂

The funny thing is that kit does this silly old people mistakes a lot and even doing the first one the scammers get so upset that he's taking a long time typing or not understanding what "pressing the windows key" means and then they hang up and assume he's fake. So I can only assume that they don't have any luck scamming actual old people like you are describing, because they ruin their own scams by being entitled little babies. That's a positive.
