how is kit so easily able to tell apart every scammer's voice? i get so confused sometimes they literally just sound like the same guy
A lot of accents sound together until you've actually spent a lot of time listening to them, and then you can start picking it apart. I used to have an issue with hispanic accents, where most of them sounded the same, but the more I talked to individuals the more I could start to differentiate them.
It's all fake and we're the ones being scammed. Or are we?
Probably a bit of a difference between watching an edited compilation and hearing them talk for more than 24 hours. Also he seems to have a decent setup, probably has IEMs (in ear monitor) headphones as opposed to just earbuds, so he'd be better able to hear any nuances.
Every video of his I feel like for the most part he's talking to the same guy. They all use the same words/insults/inntonation. It's so weird

Same words because they all follow a script for the most part, same insults is because... well, I don't read the translations often, but a lot of them say 'mother toad' which is just motherfucker. They're not creative with insults, simple as. As for intonation, I might guess it's because they have to carry themselves a certain way - even if that means being rude to the people they're talking to, oddly enough, but that's just a guess.

I think they really believe this is legitimate money they are earning. At several points they have said "Why is she giving them money when we are helping her?" in Hindi, dispite her not even understanding that. It's gross and sad.

Sad as it is, this just goes to show how badly scammers target senior citizens. I try to bait scammers all the time and sometimes barely get a sentence out before they hang up. But if they think they have a septuagenarian on the phone, they'll spend hours trying to relieve her of her money. Keep doing what you're doing, sir.

And he sees the error of his ways. And goes on to do greater things with his life, devoting his time to helping the impoverished elderly in his come country of Indi-...of “California.” And maybe Edna moves to India too in some Wes Anderson-esque misadventure and she finds herself a new life too...
I prefer the stage play, though, which would essentially be this, what Kit is doing. The final scene being lights fading on Edna stage right, grinning and singing to herself as she triumphantly continues her life, having defeated the stupid scammer and Adam/Alex is lit in low light in a dingy office, weeping, his head cradled in his hands, his phone ringing incessantly. Fade to black. And in the last moments you hear him answer, saying in a flat voice, “hello and tank you far calling Microsoft, my nehm is Allayx, how can I help you?”
And curtain.

She’s got some dementia going on & truly thinks the scammers calling are friends who care about her. I told her to find your channel. I told my parents about you a while back.
Man this series is the best, I find myself waiting for the new episodes more then I would a t.v. show. Been going thru a rough patch with my mental health and these videos definitely cheer me up.

I love these episodes, but I really can't wait for what caused this to come to an end. They've invested so much time into this, and we have spent so much time with them it'll be heartbreaking. You're like a grandma to them afterall.
I have been doing this for years. The longer I can keep them on the phone I think that is time they are not bothering some one else . I play with them at an alarming rate and its such fun. I bought a call blocker from Amazon and nothing worked . Sometimes I get 20 calls a day . I was annoyed at first but NOW I play them as you do . I developed 3 different phone voices and many scenarios and if I can stay in character without laughing I can waste hours of there time . Its better than watching TV.. Keep up the good work man. I understand that there is a bill in US Congress and instead of a fine for calling it will include jail time .. MarketPlace in Canada are actually going to India to track these people down and finding them . I thought of giving up my hard wired phone but now its one of my major form of entertainment .
I saw that Marketplace show. They actually got inside one of the call centers. Getting India off their ass to do something is tough.
I am formally and informally requesting more of these series.
