This was so easy, If I was going to do it again, I would buy an 18mm stuby ratchet wrench, I have an 18mm Tekton and it's really nice but just a little bit to big. Mercedes wanted $700 to do this. I did it in an hour from start to finish, mainly spending time working in a small garage with little room to move. I could do it in half the time if I had to do it again.
True, the 18mm ratchet wrench would have made the job so much faster but didn't feel like waiting for the delivery time. But 700$ for this job is crazy , especially with the low cost of the part.
Does changing sway bar link affect current alignments? I’m trying to decide whether to change all the suspension parts in the front end or just sway bar end link.
I don't think alignment is needed with only changing the end links, and didn't find mention of needing alignment in the repair procedure after doing end links.
What was the problem for fixing the sway bar link? Was it a noice, what type of noice - can you describe it? How did you find out that the sway bar was a problem? I have a noice in my w212 but I think it comes from the rear. Nice video
thx, I got a metalic clucking noise from the front suspension. Could not locate the source of the noise even a MB shop couldn't find it. The end links were the only thing that looked damaged but sadly it did not fix the noise problem.

mine was turning inside, but on the other side, why would I buy that tool if I'm not going to do these links again within at least 10 years :)

Not at all!
R these self locking nuts? Because they don't look like such.
I'm getting ready to do this. Do you need to get an alignment after this?
No need for an alignment, good luck.
