I'm going to miss your videos when you cut your fingers off. I'd say you really need to get a lathe... but then I'd probably just cringe even more. Have to admit though, first time I ever saw preheat and welding at the same time... but I guess there's no 'pre' in that. Sort of a poor-man's spray welding I guess... I guess.

Aluminum stick welding just should not be a thing. You can barely get the stuff to run a bead at all and even then it’s basically useless.
