I have been reading about this particular EA and found this review, with insights. Thank you Rene. Just wondering if anyone has noticed that this same ea is available on ebay for $10 to $20....yes I was shocked to see for such low price.

Rene have a look at cm-hourglas EA it is martingale hedged by grid system 😜 just on eurusd it doubles account monthly often goes on 20-30 DD but it is only requires 6-12pip tp to profit . I think that vendor create EA that aim for 5min TF market structure. Interesting fact is that if volume increases the EA widers it's greed step. Trading is risky. It is better to risk 1k in order to gain 1k than risk 10k under grid martingale to also get 1k which is10% common misconception is that we link gains to risk that larger account aiming for 10% profit is safer that one that doubles account but often is just shit EA with poor risk reward ratio as under grid or martingale the whole account is at risk - always.

Rene, you might want to try using a high risk EA, such as this one, with an equity guard EA running on another chart window. Leave Waka Waka with high risk settings but set the equity guard to close all open trades if DD exceeds 10% or whatever DD you're comfortable with. That way, it will never blow your account.
There are a lot of equity protection features, from setting a custom stop loss to various drawdown limitations (floating drawdown limitation as calculated from the EA only or for the whole account, daily drawdown as calculated in prop firms, etc.). Hence, the equity protection EA is not usually needed, and you can test various equity protection features to see how these worked on historical data.
I've backtested your idea with waka waka in High risk mode from 2016/01 to 2023/01. I went from 10K to 504K. The EA has a inbuilt option that close automatically all trades when a specified DD % is reached. In one year the 10% Max DD is reached 2-4 times. But it does not matter because the annual return is sufficient to payback the loss. The only drawback: EA had a little trouble to overcome the losses from 2021 to 2022 (10% DD reached 8 times), the return was almost zero but positive

Waka opens grid trades only on new bar that is why there is deviation in the grid levels, also the smart TP and grid seems to be a lightweight volatility factor using the atr values, this is definitely an interesting Expert Advisor with some unconventional methods hidden inside the program 👀

I have used this ea for a long time, if you plan to use it in Prop companies, don't try it). Because even at the lowest risk setting, your account will be breached. And if you set a daily limit of 5 percent, you will lose constantly and regularly. This EA is actually very successful but use it with your own money with free equity without the rule. And don't risk more than the highest risk setting. Taking big positions with the fixed lot I mentioned
Can you share how to use Waka successfully ?
I own a non-martingale grid-trading EA from another vendor, purchased, I might add at less than 20% of the cost of the EA you have reviewed here. Just for fun, I back-tested it on AudCad and UsdCad for the period June 1/22 to Jan 6/23 using a $1k USD acct with 500:1 leverage. The results I got were very robust although I must stress that the results come from optimized back-testing and are not suitable for prop firm challenges that are time-constrained (e.g. 30 days) because you just won´t make enough money in the 30 days to make a substantive contribution to meeting your challenge goal. That doesn´t mean you can´t use such a strategy/EA after being funded, when you do not face any time constraints. Btw, UsdCad gained about 10% more than AudCad over the 6 months probably mostly due to the lower spread on UsdCad.

Hey bro, i actually wanted to ask i downloaded only 15 candlestick data for a backtest and i tested 1min ohlc and every tick. But then thinking about it how it as metatrader able to extract every tick from only 15 ohlc data. Both backtest result seem wrong to me even though they are completely opposite

hey rene , i have one problem in my `supertrend` EA , the problem is that i place a sl of previous candle high , but during live demo testing , price doesn't go above previous high it just go near to that still my sl hits😪 , my friend says that this happens bcoz ask or bid price matches my sl , what is the solution of this?

Seller lowered the risk on her signals a few months ago, and announced when she did it, as AUD et al. began trending. Her DD has been held in check.

With so many parameters, a nightmare to optimize. Even if the initial risk is low, a long trend going against you will for sure trigger a margin call. Of interest are the FTMO inputs, if the EA manages their drawdown limits it would be nice to see how. The EA is overpriced.

Rene, it would also be good if you make a short video about Arbor EA. This guy pulled off one of the biggest scams in 2022 with a crappy cheap EA. He made over 100K USD and produced a number of other useless EAs which he sold for a high amount of money. Then suddenly he disappeared completely from the MQL5 and now he is back again. Please let the community know about this scammer.

Hey René i think that a long list of Inputs that an ea has, is a bad sign, because then the creator can always Argument that you have put in wrong data in Inputs and that is why your ea Instance does not work, what do you think?
I do not really think like this. Instead I think it gives you more flexibility. In the end it is YOUR money that you are trading and you should configure the EA/strategy and not just trust someones blackbox without inputs. But that is just my opinion :)
Seller later added many filtering inputs requested by users but says she doesn’t use them herself.
@ well, when you program eas yourself, IT always feels like a Blackbox if you buy an ea from Market. So with more or less Inputs it is still Blackbox.

I would recommend not ever dealing with Traders with Edge. They make up rules while you are in challenges that, once you pass the challenge, make them delete your accounts. All fees paid lost.
