I don't think you can use for prop firm trading, only low risk setting. If other settings, you will blow the account first day, I tested it. On 100k account low risk setting, you are making £30 per trade but max drawdown I saw in my test was £1200 per trade...that is ridiculous in terms of ratio...and that is just low risk setting! So imagine the other settings...it is not feasible for prop trading at all. On low risk though it's fine but will take you 5 years to pass the challenge 😭.

Besides that, ive tried and backtested it with many different configurations on my 1:30 account and in my backtesting the overall result is in profit but with 20% DD. I backtested it on low risk settings, ticks modelled 90% how would that work on a prop firm live account?
I tried this for 30 days and actually lost quite a bit of money with Mid-Risk setting. Think about this guys for a second...at $2200 for the EA, how long is it going to take you guys to break even?
Hi tonymantinelli6747, of course, if your risk settings are higher, you risk more. Yes, it may take time to break even if your starting amount is small, but if you want to be consistently profitable, with low risk, then you need to use the low risk settings.

WaKaWaKA blown up my 2000$ within 3 months on lowest risk setting all money gone to 0 net loss 4000 dollar including bot price and vps now I'm sticking to shitcoins! Good lesson learnt early.
All the backtests I did show that the lowest amount is $6000. That is why I trade it only funded accounts. Sorry about your loss but you better try with FTMO so you won’t risk your own money.

Hi Logitecc1, it's not about remote desktop. If you plan to trade with EAs, you will need to keep your PC/laptop on all the time and connected to the server. If you can't, a VPS would be the solution.

So I was planning to take the Nova Funding Challenge, which allows the use of HFT EAs for the challenge, but not the funded account. However, they also have a list of strategies they do not allow for their funded accounts: Grid Trading, Martigale, Latency Arbitrage, Hedging... I was so disappointed since I knew Waka Waka was a grid system. It looks like most of Valeriia Mishchenko's EAs use a grid system. Is there an EA you could recommend to trade this funded account? The alternative is that I do not take their challenge. Thanks again for all you do.

Hi Artix3341, it really depends on the prop firm. Personally, I haven't had any problems, but some users have reported that they have. Infinity Forex Funds for example have a specific Algo challenge and allow all EAs. Several other prop firms do, as well. But to overcome any issues, you can change some of the settings very slightly to make your EA unique. You can also contact Valery, the developer and she will send you a custm set file for your exact needs, making it unique
I,m testing the Waka Waka EA at the moment on a 14 day trial and all settings are correct on the platform. It hasn't taken a trade in 3 days ! Yes I have used the suggested three currency pairs but is this normal ! PS I love your videos.

Hi fiscalboss. A minimum deposit of $1000 is recommended, however, this also depends on your leverage, risk settings and several other factors. There is a calculator on the developer's website you can access via the link in the video description, where you can input your starting balance, risk settings and get an idea of the expected returns.

However, if yuo look at the real performance of the EA on MyFXBook (www.myfxbook.com/members/MischenkoValeria/waka-waka-ea/8379251), you'll see the performance over it's history.

Don't trust these positive reviews. developer of XT Prop firms promised to provide a free(which we never received) EA if buyres give it a positive comment as soon as buy it.

FTMO doesn’t allow to allocate more than 400k using the same strategy/bot. If you put that EA on 200k account and other traders do the same, e.g. total amount in different traders/accs > 400k they will stop your account and also could end your funded contract (same in most prop firms). Do you know it? How to fix it? One way is to change the settings in order to get different trades but I think it’s not easy being profitable
From the info provided I think this bot the more people use it, it's starting to be less and less effective. From the graph few years ago it made, 15 % a month, last year 7% and this year it only makes about 2%. By end of the year it will make maybe 0.5%

And we usually get between 1 - 3% per month, which is good enough for me. Consider that if you have 3 or 4 accounts, with just 1-2% per month on 200K accounts, you'll be making $4K or more. Passively

You can adjust the max daily DD in the settings. The latest update allows for many settings to make it suitable to your account type and trading goals

I believe you can try True Forex Fund instead. They allow the usage of EAs such as waka waka. I’m currently using it for phase 1 challenge.
