Learn about the benefits of automated trading. After programming trading strategies for a while I started teaching how to program expert advisors for the MT4 (MetaTrader 4) and MT5 (MetaTrader 5). Until now I only did videos in German but now I will start this channel with English videos to reach a larger audience of traders and help them improve their trading. There will be no fake trading on this channel and no lies. I show trading as it is - the good and the bad sides. Stay tuned and subscribe because you don't want to miss ;)

Trading in derivative products such as futures, options, CFDs, Forex and certificates involves a considerable risk. These products are not suitable for every investor. Investors could potentially lose all or more of the original investment. If anything, only money that equals personal risk capital and can be lost without jeopardizing financial security or lifestyle should be used. Partially or fully automated trading programs can only be used to support the trader. Past performance is not an indication of future results.
Rene thanks for your channel bro, today I can code my own EA and put every strategy I can come up with and I'm currently learning ML on MT5 even though it's quite challenging due to lack of resources for MT5, most resources are for python.
Rene, great analysis. Nice to see an honest plain talking assessment of trading approaches. I was thinking if you would release an EA onto the marketplace but realised in the end that you are focussing on teaching "a man to fish" ... nice one.....30:23 aka Compounding.
Yeah learning how to fish is the best advice I can give here. It will provide the biggest benefit long term for sure.
I love all your videos sir please keep up the good work may the lord bless your work even more.
thanks for your explanation. it's very helpful.
That was usefull, I was interested to this ea because all the good reviews it has.
Thank you rene
Thanks! Learn a lot
Great to hear!! :)
Hi Rene. I absolutely love your channel and these reviews that you do. Thank You!! I just noticed that the History Quality was quite poor (only 8%) when you tested the 1st EA.
Maybe because i did not have enough real tick data for the long term test i did with the EA
Hi René! Thanks for the video. When you're using GMT+2 instead of GMT+3, don't you think the trading hours should have been adjusted by one hour as well? So for instance the US30 session should start at 15.30 rather than 16.30.
Mql5 account with $115 balance for sale
thank you for sharing your knowledge and honest review, I was just about to buy this EA, got hyped in the review section and I thought the price would get higher if I don"t take action.
Did the price increase?
@ every purchase will add 100 usd to the price... for now it is 1699, when the video was published it was just 1099. I think it's better to create your own EA based on your strategy.
@@jaysondarang Yeah writing your own EAs is definitely better. At least you know what the program is doing in this case ;)
@ if I have a profitable EA, I would never sell it. I will just earn profit using it. sold EAs are not profitable I think.
So what is the mechanism that's do the win and loss trade cancellation?
Can you please do a video on that?
@ReneBalke can you do a video on how to combine multiple indicators on a single indicator window for automated trading. Thank you
Love your videos and spend some time stalking your channel! Was wondering is its possible to do a guide on coding a EA that enters a short or long based on candle patterns(hammer/hangingman)
Thanks keep up the great work!
I did already ;) just search for it on the channel
Champion! I have some home work to do for the weekend then! Thanks@
Hi René, can you create an EA usin TMA+GG indicator, When price touches closes below the lower band. Do a BUY trade; When price touches closes above the upper band. Do a SELL trade. price below EMA 200 sell positions only, above EMA 200 buy positions only. this will reduce losing positions
How do I update the expert advisor on the program MQL5
Thanks so much for your amazing contents Rene. Pls how can we write MQL5 code based on indicator window data instead of chart data
It is pretty much the same. You create the indicator handle and access its values using the CopyBuffer function.
Yes, that's typical for that kind. If the SL was smaller the result is unprofitable. The price is large losses more seldom. The aggressive TS is there to capture profit before the price reverses. However, the problem with large DD is not solved. So it's not suitable for prop trading. And the price is huge.
I was actually thinking I was thinking of narrowing it in to higher rsi band 70 and lower 30
Then once triggered at the peak of that candle a factual arrow is triggered
Which starts the sell
Hello Mr. René, would you trust a backtest using "every tick based on real ticks" or Demo trading results ?
Thanks.
Demo trading is more accurate from my experience
Hello, Could you compare the EA "Quantum Emperor MT5" with low priced EA "London Breakout MT5"? Thanks! 😉
Hello Rene
My name is Dan, great channell you have.
I was wondering if you could code this strategy
Using 2 indicators
Rsi. Periods 80, 20, 14
And the Fractual indicator standard settings.
It's under Bill Williams
Concept is when rsi reaches higher level of 80 it triggers a Fractual arrow down,
That is the entry to sell
And the other way round to buy
5 minute chart and symbol
Euro/Nzd. Gold/usd. Gpd/usd.
Eur/usd, usd/Jpy,
10 pip TP. And sell half and Trail the other half
10 pip stop loss
Nice explane sir butWhy is it advantageous to incorporate points both above and below the range in this strategy? What specific benefits or insights does this approach offer?
I don't know. You would have to test it :) Some people say it prevents fake breakouts ;)
the gmt +3 time is important. if it is set up to enter at a session start and you are out by an hour it is important. you should not change the strategy and then test it on that basis when you didnt write the program!!
Hi @René, how do you get that much tickdata back several years. Is it offered by your broker?
Yeah I guess. I just use the data from IC Markets and did not load any external data.
When we have a breakout strategy like this, it intuitively makes sense to me to have an aggressive trailing stop. (because it's either a big breakout or it isn't?) But whenever I optimize my own programs it seems that a less aggressive stop is optimal... I still don't quite know when it's best to use one. Perhaps my implementation is not ideal.
I made exactly the same observations! This is why I rarely use trailing stops at all :D
I also find this a really interesting analysis from a developer standpoint. Clearly this guy is successful... 81 sold last month at $1000 each? Just for that one EA? From a marketing and business perspective I'm impressed. I don't expect the EA's to be great, but the marketing is great. Takeaways: Optimize for one instrument/currency pair, do a short test of a few weeks for your pitch, but not so long that you have big losses... add a lot of inputs that LOOK attractive to someone who doesn't know better. "tight stop loss" looks good to someone who is new, as does something like "recovery factor"... (when we know that increasing that factor actually increases risk). It's the appearance of a good program vs an actual good program. Conversely, you could have a great program and only sell it for $100 and it doesn't get any sales, because the marketing is poor...
I wouldn't recommend for anyone to BUY these EA's, but I might recommend using similar methods to successfully sell your own EA's...
Yeah he is a great marketer. But of course the programs are not able to print money. I think right now he is in a bigger drawdown and even put more money in his signal accounts so they do not crash.. These methods are kinda deceiving now and I am not sure if I am a fan.. But great marketing! Totally agree here :)
So is it profitable or not ? By how % ?
René Balke could you recommend a good ea under 250 for live funded accounts that adheres to the 5% daily drawdown rule
No I never recommend any EAs. Instead I recommend to learn how to code.
Basically, "Recovery" is nothing more than the modern paraphrase of Grid and Martingale strategies, because "Recovery" does not (yet) have the stigma of these trading styles that are decried as dangerous and risky. Setting stoploss levels does not necessarily change high risk. Because if the recovery positions are opened with increased volume, the risk also increases accordingly.
Ultimately, it is crucial which additional programmatic features avoid recovery mode as much as possible. You can see this, for example, with the newly released EA “London Breakout MT5”.
Absolutely!! These terms are used for marketing mainly. Same with AI, machine learning etc. etc...
@: Exactly! It's probably time for marketing strategists to invent a new term for AI as well... 😄
universal breakout ea is much the same except for the recovery system . it's free
Good day everyone!
I see that this channel and the BM Trading are sponsored by IC Markets, nevertheless I will ask any way the question.
I am from Switzerland and just registered for a live account with ICM but the last Statement on the signing process, which we must acknowledge, does not give you much tranquility.
It states that their market material is not intended for citizens of any country other than those where IC Market is regulated and that I am not illegible of the regulatory rules.
Have anyone have had problems some far?
Many thanks.
Test TrendMaster Fx EA please
is it possible to code in smc into an ea??
Yes
LG
Are you still trading with prop firms rene?
Not at the moment
@ okay, thank you
Hey i like your programming .can i give you a strategy and code for me please?
I am sorry but I do not offer this service
@ okay thanks
@@brianmakgato7143 I am learning this programming maybe i can help you with that, would love to hear your strategy reply if you still have it!
Сделайте пожалуйста русские субтитры!,канал хороший но обсалютно не понятно,что говорит
Lol. That's the problem why some EA developer doesn't give a complete info, you just indirectly said people shouldn't buy the EA rather develop a replicate of the EA based on the info the developer provided. It's okay to discourage a potential buyer due to errors in the performance but telling them to go ahead to do copyright infringement is wrong.
Good point. But I still think it is better to know how a program works instead of investing (and trading) a complete black box. Also you would be surprised how few people are willing to learn how to code and prefer to buy a finished product instead :D
@ you're correct. Regardless, you should refrain from telling potential buyers to rather replicate the strategy as explained by the developer/seller. You don't want your effort put into developing such EA be compromised. It's not easy developing an EA that's profitable. Hopefully, these buyers will learn to identify a reliable EA in the long term for a good ROI.
@@adewoleadebayo8848 But this is my opinion and honestly also my recommendation to anyone. It is better to learn how to code instead of buying a single EA. Also I do not really reveal any secrets since the seller puts the EA/strategy in a (public) market so anyone can look at it using the free demo. But this is just my opinion and you might think differently. That is totally fine :)
@ it's alright bro. Thank you.
you cant copyright a trading strategy bro lol, paying 1k for a simple EA you can code yourself is mad. people will still buy it regardless.
How about test my EA 😉
anyone wants to create their own EA? i am here to help u
Hello, I would really appreciate if you could help with turning my indicator into an EA
