I love tarantulas - but I've had terrible luck with then and my slings every single one has ended up being a male 😅 so they've not been the longest lived unfortunately
@@ellesreptiles Oh no! That is definitely some bad luck I understand the feeling there. I have a decent amount of slow growing species like Grammastola, Aphonopelma, Brachypelma, etc. so that if my luck is bad with getting males at least I get a bit longer with them before they pass. Downside is that they are all tiny slings and are taking a long time to grow 😂.

nice upgrade! lol if she's anything like my grammostola pulchra she *might* carry substrate in her chelicerae like a little forklift to throw it in the water bowl. out of all my spiders she's the least likely to hair me tho, so far its been the red rump that's given me the itchies the most.
