Finally caught up to all the mall builds and I have to say, Robin, you are absurdly amazing at what you do. This build, and all the previous ones have so much life, so much spark, love and passion in them man! I enjoy every single thing you've put out thus far and in my honest opinion, probably the only lego tuber where I watch every second of the vid without skipping a bit. The details in the mall are spot on, and my favourite part has got to be the tiki bar. So much LIFE. You can really tell they're havin a splendid time in there. Your vids make me want to shrink into a minifig just to be able to explore the mall in person lol!

Yeah I agree. It's much more fun to do a different channel with unique and wacky builds that I want to do, but LEGO only cares about kid friendly reviewers. LEGO is a business but you'd think it would want to reach a broader cross section of people!

He’s back!🎉 I absolutely love the mall placed in the city. Both standing holes views look amazing. I don’t mind the closeness of the two tram stops, there is a third one just around the corner. It gives it that metropolitan busyness if you ask me.

For the canoe you could potentially remove the legs and attach the torso directly on the studs, maybe with a couple rounded yellow tiles as legs. It should give you 1/2 plates of extra space over their heads

I really enjoyed watching all of this! It's actually the first Lego build I've ever followed on youtube, and I can tell that it won't be the last.
I know I'm commenting like 2 months afterwards, but I'll just say that the two tram stops make a lot of sense to me. People with luggage probably don't want to walk through a mall to get to their flight, and having a bunch of mall rats in the airport might clog up the foot traffic there, haha.

Welcome back! Glad you've regained your voice and that you're feeling better. The mall looks amazing in brick Nottingham, have you thought about selling the Instructions for it on rebrickable? I think the coffee shack needs to be moved forward now as it's hidden back there!

Looks great in situ. The trams stops aren't totally unrealistic. If you've ever been on the Manchester tram some of their stops are mere seconds and yards apart! Also means if one is closed they can still access the airport/vice versa.
That's good enough for me. Yeah I think I noticed that actually going to the cricket ground one time!

Welcome back! The mall looks so good and really shows off your building skill. It is so "lego" too that you'd make a great lego designer. I think that the stop by the airport could be removed and then you can move the coffee shop forward and close to the sidewalk. Or replace the stop in the mall with the coffee shop. Every good mall needs a coffee shop.
Nice, finaly in place. Looks good. Regarding the tramstop. I would suggest to make one big stop with an entrance from both airport and mall. It would of course need some kind of ajustment for the backdoor of the fastfood store, but maybe a counter towards an extended platform so guest could be waitning for the tram while ezting a snack, maybe on their way home from a vacation

You could try and either make the tram stop one large stop instead of two, or possibly make one be under construction / renovation. Could make for a good scene. Plus, any chance of an updated city tour? Thanks Robin, glad you’re back!

Great to see you back in action! Although I would have loved for this to be in LEGO ideas, I think lego would have removed so much great details that it would have become a shadow of what it is now. Emphasis on “SO MUCH DETAILS” and not just random pieces put in, they’re well thought out and cohesive! A+++ 😊👍

Welcome back! Now it looks complete in its final position. It's cool how it looks like a welcome building to the city, accessible from train, monorail, airport and country roads. It's perfect there! Maybe one suggestion for the tiki sign so it's less "risky": maybe removing only the minifigures and leaving the canoe there, it'll still look cool, and you'll have extra workers for the tiki bar.
And I was eager to vote when you said this was on Ideas site, just when you said it was rejected... They dunno what they're missing. 😉

I like the two tram stops, having been to London in November, I was surprised Heathrow had so many underground stops, similar to Brick Nottingham
looks great. you could connect the mall and airport tram stop together, so it's one station with 2 entrances.
Could do, but separated they give the illusion of more stops and a greater scale, I reckon!

Glad to see you back, Robin. You could always have the airport tram stop right against the wall as one of the facade/cross section buildings and remove or just move the stairs

I'm new to this channel, and I gotta say your MOCs look incredible based on this video alone. I'll definitely check out your other videos to get a closer look at all the other buildings. If you want the tram stops to look less redundant, you could attach a couple more cars to the tram so that it stops at both of them at the same time!

Yeah, they very rarely improve on the original. Sometimes, like on the cardboard spaceship, I think the changes were unnecessary as well. The Barracuda ship was, arguably, improved!

This may be a stretch but if you add a bridge linking the two subway station, the one at the mall can be for alighting and the one at the airport would be for boarding (can work both ways)

Such an amazing build that somehow got even better once it was placed into Brick Nottingham. Worth the work & the wait! I'd recc this video to anyone who loves Lego. You might be best UK creator. I'd feature your channel as that if I ever make a "Best of UA-cam." I haven't forgotten you want to see my Treehouse conversion to Forestmen treetop village. I set up a 4x8 foot Lego table for my growing collection of double-size MOC and built my first MILS plate for the 2x Blacksmith. I set up the Treehouse and built a 2x Hideout. Plus a bonus treefort! I packed & stacked them because of how great your builds look.
When I first saw it, I was like "cool, looks decent" but when you put it into the city it looks pretty cool

Its not 2 tram stations but 1 station with multiple entries , or its like London DLR that has stops straight after each others
Yeah, just like DLR, stopping every few yards, haha!
In Sheffield we have tram stops within 20 ft of each other in the town centre so its not unrealistic to have them so close in commercial areas, even our shopping centre has two tram stops

Awesome build as usual. One thing that you could change is the airport. The front of the plane seems a bit close to the mall. Maybe put on the other side of the airport or leave it where it is and convert it to a gift shop or small airplane museum. Other words everything is awesome. Looking forward to your next videos and again glad you're back.
On the tram stop i would connect the stops and make it one big one with a bridge or adjustment were the back stares to noodle shop is. Also makes sense because that's the airport and a lot of traffic goes through your airport.
I think it looks great in situ. Although the tram stops are very close they are serving different landmarks and connecting them, and plenty of cities do have stops very close together in the city centre. On the DLR in London (which your tram makes me think of, with the shape of the vehicle and the raised up track) there's two stations only 199m apart.
I wish it would be possible to get a passenger's eye view of the Brick Nottingham tram experience. I'd love to know what the plan is for the line that branches off at the railway station too.

I think my supermarket might be denser inside but it's a lot smaller. This has vast detail inside and out!

As a Suggestion: Why don‘t you make your monorail Even longer by including a right Turn behind the Moll and replace the Airport-stop on the rooftop of the Airport 😜
The original train was that the roof of the airport lifts off to show lots of detail. That wouldn't work with a monorail line on it.
Ideally I'd have monorail everywhere. I love it!

The left table is lego jurassic world, and the right table is gonna be minecraft lego. And tgan I wanted to build 2 portals. As if it are 3 dimensions

i like it in isolation, but the tram stops doing look a bit strange in the city. I'd consider joining those tram stops into one longer stop, continuing the wall and blue glass windows to join them. They might upset the back stairs, but it is a strange place to have a staircase near the rail line.

I would say it's Lego's loss that they rejected your idea, and you should just put the instructions on rebrickable. It's a really cool build, so no doubt the instructions will sell.
