Hi Robin, Wow, finally it’s modular monday!! I must say I didn’t know about the window pieces of the 4655 Juniors set, but you managed to use them in a way better than on the original set. At 8:40 for me it has some kind of McDonalds vibe, colour wise that is. And that is a good thing, since you’re building a Fast Food Corner 👍🏼😁 Maybe 12:42 is a wall you sometimes see at those places in the kids’ corner 😊 16:47 You did a great job with the interior. All the dark red pieces are hidden so well and that counter looks legit! Especially the napkinholder 😂👌🏼. I’m a big fan of the series 17 hotdogmen behind the counter. The vies at 20:24 is like what you see in real life when you walk by some sort of Subway or Dunkin’ Donuts. A smaller fast food joint on a corner, great, great job! As much as I like the built of the 3D sign, the shaping is more than okay with that delicious melted cheddar, I do think that the dome piece of the burger has reached it’s due date..😰. Maybe it comes due to the lighter skin toned pieces you used on the building itself. That’s like the only thing I’m doubting on. Nice video once again Robin, already Modular Monday is a thing I’m looking forward on while starting another week 👍🏼
Me too. I'm looking forward to building and seeing the next stages as well. The burger has to be dark tan if I want it that size and using that dome piece (86500). It's not available in many colours!
Amazing 😉 The giant burger sign is awesome but you did go a little over board with the stickers but it’s fantastic and your Lego ideas are incredibly amazingly cool great work
A brilliant start to Modular Mondays. Those ugly panel pieces have really come to life in this build, I can't wait to see what the other parts will look like. You must be itching to finish it off after waiting all this time to get started 😉
Great part 1 of this build. and like all your builds I love the 3D sign out front. The window & door set I believe make this part look amazing. it builds to the story of a older building being sub sized to hold smaller shops. the grandma eating that massive burger just shows Minifigs can do the unthinkable from real life cuz my gran could never have even eaten the bun alone. hahaha I have almost watched all your bricklink haul videos so I see where you get all your interesting parts.. normally I just watch builds but I am enjoying your vision. keep up the great videos and thank you for sharing.
After seeing part 1, I'm very excited to see where you take this build, Robin. I agree with the usage of the window panel pieces - I actually really like the look it gives this corner shop, and you integrated them seamlessly. You're right in that the Lego modulars are so idealized but in real life things look more like what you've done. Can't wait to see more in the process!

Hi Robin Hood Bricks, I think it was a great decision to put in those pieces from the juniors set. You have definitely used them in a much better way than the original set! I really like this modular so far and what a wonderful start for Modular Monday!
Well I got the two panel windows out of curiosity and designed the builds around them. Then I bought the specific parts I needed and no more. I don't have much of a brick collection to build from at all!
Thanks, Joe. I'm genuinely enjoying doing it. Although I'm already a little worried that demand for a repeat performance will be greater than the speed of me designing it. This is the culmination of a LOT of work!
Ive been enjoying ur moduler mondays. This realy makes me wanna pick up some of toughs ugly fast food glass peices. Would look good for my run down cyberpunk city idea.

@@sbondi Yes, I think it would be wise to separate them. I'll give it some thought. Design, planning and even buying. It's going to be hard to video some of these!
Robin Hood Bricks No problem! Also can you make a video where you show us all the pieces we need for the build and can you show the instructions because I realllllllyyyy want to build this!
I love your idea! I'm definitely convinced that the window pieces belong in your build. It definitely gives me some inspiration. I may have to find that junior's set now! Great job! I can't wait to see what is next.
Omg that’s amazing. Love the giant 3D sign. The interior is really well planned through aswell. Have you tried the Lego designer that Bricklink offer. I think it’s easier to navigate than LDD.
I keep meaning to try an alternative but better the devil you know seems to be winning right now. I'll have to move soon as new parts aren't being added to LDD anymore. Glad you loved the 3d sign. There's more awesome signage coming!
With bricklink you can import all your current LDD files and it will convert it for you. Then you can create wish lists direct from there. I’ve found it so much better. I’ve used it numerous times to create little MOCs. I’ve got a huge 8000+ piece construction in the planning.
@@RobinHoodBricks Stud.io is infinitely better than LDD. Once you get used to it, you'll never look back. It also allows you to render your creations very easily so you can get a real idea of what the actual thing will look like. Highly recommended. Keep up the great work!
Do you design all of your MOCs in digital designer? I've always been impressed by the organization and preparedness you demonstrate in your videos. And I've been curious about the extent of planning that goes into your MOCs and Bricknottingham in general. I wonder if you might find time to share some of your process...? Also, I love the new series!! And nice technique implanting the stair edges into a wall!
I do the vast majority of design in LDD especially on something like the modular. I find it easier as I don't have a vast library of real pieces and don't want that to limit my designs. Organisation and planning for videos is just a factor of preparing stuff and retakes. Maybe I could do a "making a video" video. But would people watch it and how would I film it?!
found your channel recently and then this series and i'm loving it, do you have a parts list or instructions available anywhere? i'd love to have this in my future lego city some day
It's under production. Sadly it's been under production for quite a while. I will do it one day. I'd get the two Fast Food panels now, if you can, as they are rare!

Yay. Glad to have you on board, Mr. Rich. Don't forget there is a huge back catalogue and three videos a week!
Congrats on the 10k!
Thank you so much!
Robin Hood Bricks No problem! Also can you make a video where you show us all the pieces we need for the build and can you show the instructions because I realllllllyyyy want to build this!
Great MOC, maybe you can add some tables outside
Thanks. I genuinely hadn't thought of that. I'll definitely try it, but probably when I place it in the city!
That looks awesome, can't believe how well those window pieces work, think there may be a sudden surge in purchasing on bricklink 😆
Well be quick as there's not many of them about. The last panel in the UK has recently been sold!
Amazing job. Please make more MOCs
Thank you.
MOCs take a long time to plan but this one will last a few weeks I think. So enjoy!
Stunning little shop. Interestingly, I don't care for fast food.
Thanks very much.
Fast food? Me either. I mean, where's the wine?!
that looks good so far..
Thanks, Medivo. I think it'll only get better!
@@RobinHoodBricks no worries...I do my own modulars as well
C'est vraiment très bien penser et très jolie!
C'est très gentil à vous de dire. Je vous remercie!
That's very nice of you to say. Thank you!
I have thise big windows to! I think they are really cool!
Nice one. Having used the Ari's Deli ones and now these, we need more. Come on LEGO!
I love your idea! I'm definitely convinced that the window pieces belong in your build. It definitely gives me some inspiration. I may have to find that junior's set now! Great job! I can't wait to see what is next.
Hey thanks, Lee. That's just the encouragement I crave!
@@smilinduck Wow. Sounds massive. Yes, the upload feature is a godsend!
@@phpaul85 I know you are right so maybe when I start my next big project I'll make the leap!
Sieht toll aus!
Danke, dass du es mir gesagt hast. Teil 2 nächste Woche!
Thanks for telling me. Part 2 next week!
@@RobinHoodBricks 😄
Excellent.
Thanks very much, John!
That's cool 👍
Thanks very much, Jojo!
You should put series 19 pizza guy in front of shop 😁👍
I do have him but I was saving him for an Italian Restaurant. There's more 3D signage to come on this one, so don't make up your mind yet!
Awesome!
Thanks, Ty!
