In 1995 it was a wooden coaster, it's now been turned into a steel coaster. So when you ride it in July expect it to be very different to when you rode it in 1995. The vast majority of people agree that it is a much, MUCH better ride after being retracked with steel track :)
Hey Coasterforce, I'm going to Texas sometime next year to the Texas State Fair, and i might go to a Six Flags park in Texas too, so which Six Flags park would you recommend? Six Flags Over Texas or Fiesta Texas?
I remember riding this monster the first summer it opened. Extremely violet back then. Years later while visiting I chose not to ride it. Smart move. I saw the people comming off, they were banged up. No smiles at all. But this new version looks like a blast.
@@acjoness Yes I did back in 2014 and I was dissapointed,it was much better when it was a wooden rollercoaster,Iron Rattler is a lot better.I live near an Amusment park,Blackpool, but all the rides are trash.
I feel like everyone thinks this is one of the worst RMCs because it was the first and doesn't feature certain elements that the newer models feature (such as inversions), but this is easily the best RMC I've ridden. It blew Goliath, Storm Chaser, and Outlaw Run out of the water. I loved all four, but this was incredible. What makes it stand out is its perfect pacing.
@Baxion5 My Dad and I rode this the year before they closed it to remodel it and we both got off with beat-up shoulders and headaches. Now though the ride is smoother then the Titan even, the mid-point break is just glided through instead off a rough stop. If you get a chance to ride this version because it is A THOUSAND TIMES better.
this is my home park; i have ridden this thousands of times and love it! what is your favorite rmc coasterforce? and when joker opens are you going to film a pov of it? i only watch your pov's
I think this is probably one of the weakest of the R.M.C coasters, it's still plenty awesome but I would say it's considered weak among the pool of R.M.Cs. It has lots of airtime but it feels like it just lopes along the course of the ride even though it goes 65mph while the others feel faster and more relentless while going slower such as Twisted Colossus, Wicked Cyclone, and Medusa: Steel Coaster. And the ones with the top gun stalls and zero g stalls have that wicked hangtime and rides like Stormchaser and Wicked Cyclone have/will have the intense outward banked airtime.
Tony Kim Iron Rattler has some insane airtime/hairtime moments too though. And Iron Rattler has a lot of speed while this one does go about 65 mph it feels like you're just meandering along the course. R.M.C has come a long way since this one, taking coasters upside down and also making them faster and more relentless.
@wwwCOASTERFORCEcom I rode el toro yesterday 6 times in a row because there was no line... then i threw up and rode it 3 more times. That's how good it is :))
New Texas Giant is amazing as a steel hybrid coaster! Rocky Mountain Construction has done a fantastic job with this ride.

The fire was rumored to have been removed from SFNE, but they never took it to SFOT. IT sits in the storage area @ SFNE.
your welcome new texas giant, bizarro kindly donated his fire to you so you can use it, now he is dead, his fire effect was the cause of his death
What!? Hey! New Texas Giant stole our fire! That belongs to Bizarro and you know it.

The most perfect steel coaster*
I'm a little rusty on this subject :P
Do u get a lot of airtime cus this looks like u would fly outta ur seat a lot! Plz awenser coaster force
for this ride, the on-ride video totally didn't do it justice.
Is this considered a wooden or a steel coaster now?
What coaster that you guys have ridden has the strongest airtime?

RIP to the lady that dies on it recently
why was the fire removed
April 22 is its first birthday, went last year opening day now again to celebrate 1 year
I rode this back in 1995,I can,t wait to ride it again in July
quick question, did you ride it after 9 years

What's with the funny looking cars & plexiglass sides? Cheers
where are u shooting this? top of the titan? ive been here loads of times btw
Thanks for that. Cheers. Mark
The most perfect wooden coaster!
note to six flags put the fire effect closer to the track like in bizarro in six flags great adventure
Sarah Goforth, fun fact, that fire belonged to the bizarro (now superman) at new england, i love bizarro at great adventure, best ride i have ridden

do u think it is better than iron rattler
yeah, this one and the joker have that reputation of being the weakest but i enjoyed both more than iron rattler and twisted colossus
aside from their first drops, yes it is
Outlaw Run has good pacing!
RIP park guest
is it just me or does the red car iff you look closely, look slower than the blue did? :s
Why are there windows?

Do you know why they no longer run the black train?
They just didn't run the black train on that particular day.
how tall is that ride????? O_O
153 feet.
this is my home park; i have ridden this thousands of times and love it! what is your favorite rmc coasterforce? and when joker opens are you going to film a pov of it? i only watch your pov's
I like this, but the original was a great ride too. It would be nice if a company did a recreation of the original. maybe GCI

EastCoasterGeneral's favorite RMC is medusa steel coaster.
@MrMagickid914 Steel track, wooden supports.
COASTERFORCE, why is there plastic on the trains??
it dosnt look as fast as it does on the ride hahah but it still looks cool

@MrMagickid914 It's a hybrid.
looks like fun to me 👍😎
Wood or steel coaster cause I'm confused.
MɨҡɛʏքօօɦɮɛaʀJaċҡsօռ steel
Wooden structure. Steel track.
@guyofred it doesnt tickle but its fun
@CanadianAiden2 i find that the case for most woody coasters.
this looks seriously fast....am i wrong?!
@wwwCOASTERFORCEcom ya i could understand, and they never used it last year so it was a good idea :)
*click* test drive (in rollercoaster tycoon) ..oh it safe, *now click* open
I was on that ride :/ Unfortuneately a women died on it :(
woman died on that ride a couple hours ago :( never getting on that ride
cindy salinas she was overweoght was the problem, so her safety harness detached because of it
Nova Prospekt no it was because the ride op was dumb and let her go when she only heard 1 click
yeah, ok now that you say that i realize its just decoration? i just thought it looked funny
what a fucking beast
The Camera Work is about as Smooth as the Ride....
So ultra smooth?
RagtimeAnnie Oh this isn't the old rough Texas giant. This is the new smooth version that opened in 2011 o believe
i bet this was a pain to builds
its just you...
I know I was on the ride I will never ride that ride like omg
Is this iron rattler
Corey Carney No.
new texas giant has mostly overbanked turns and airtime while iron rattler has a barrel roll with like mostly banked turns throughout the ride
Tony Kim Iron Rattler has some insane airtime/hairtime moments too though. And Iron Rattler has a lot of speed while this one does go about 65 mph it feels like you're just meandering along the course. does iron rattler have Titan in the background? does Texas giant go upside down?
SuffDru It inverts a tiny bit when going through the over banked turns however it is not considered an inversion as it doesn't flip you 180 degrees.
Id love to ride that i love el toro at sfga id love this rde here
ITs no longer WOODEN
@wwwCOASTERFORCEcom I rode el toro yesterday 6 times in a row because there was no line... then i threw up and rode it 3 more times. That's how good it is :))
