When is it coming out to all users? My Dad is 83 and completely blind and does not like to call the volunteers but desperately needs the service. He is looking forward to it very much. He is very technologically savvy. Can’t wait!
Thank you.
It would also be helpful for those with severe macular degeneration.
Most of my 🌐360° view touring videos are ALSO produced in Equirectangular360 (aka 'flat, 'pano') specifically for certain vision impaired.
The videos are designed to be viewed on a large (75+ inch) screen with eyes about 2-3 feet away. As you move your head around in front of the screen it gives you a small 'floating' window to a 360° world in motion.
Great for indoor exercise with an outdoor moving field of view.
This is a good use of AI. Providing autonomy and dignity to visual impairment is a win-win. I like the idea of human volunteers, but can imagine a million reasons that I would choose the convenience and privacy of AI. For example, AI won't get annoyed if you ask a million clarifying questions
They should add haptic feedback patches for better communication of the surroundings.
Good idea.
That is awesome I use it on my phone I'm 100% legally blind
Awesome I need this for my friend
Amazing
This is awesome.
Awesome step towards more independence!
I had an idea the other day about creating a walking stick with laser range filters on it for blind people in braille could even shoot out 5 beams at once and display the different distances to all five fingers at once
Can’t wait to use it 😊
This is very very good if you can work in iPhone he’s young all the people have a hard time because I worked with someone with us but great
Wow I need that
love be my a i feature. it's available on the blindshell classic2 cell phone now. yep/
That's like my orcam but only on the phone
That's cool🎹🎹
Hehe now the AI can see everything your doing. And do things you can’t see
