Oh, I knew this was going to be an unusual layout the second I saw the door angles from the corridor - so unusual. Your view there is absolutely stunning - I've never cruised in an aft view, but would LOVE to!

I was in 4120, very forward cabin on port side. Got some noise from Deck 3 and the anchor handling party. One night the crew lounge on Deck 4 were partying on till about 2:30am
Very helpful video. Is the pitch noticeable at the stern? I want to prevent motion sickness for a couple friends who have never cruised but the midship cabins don’t have these views…
Thanks 🙏 We were on the ship in the summer so no movement whatsoever but we know the back is definitely preferential to the front when the ship gets moving! 😂
Thanks for your comprehensive tour of 8145. We are considering a similar cabin on the stern but were wondering if there's any shade on the veranda during the day? It appears not. Was this an issue for you ? Thanks for your entire series of videos - quite frank and helpful !
Hi Jim, thanks for your kind comments. In answer to your question there was a small amount of shade, so if you pushed your chairs back you could get some from the slight overhang. We were out most days on the cruise so we just used the balcony for sailaways and mornings which was great. 👍
Hi David, yes we did the Rome to Trieste cruise all around Croatia/Italy/Turkey then went on the Venice to Barcelona cruise at the end. Have a great cruise if you decide to book 🥂

that shower curtain may be a deal breaker for me. We just got off the rotterdam and the bathroom was gorgeous.

Wasn’t it a problem to bring water in plastic bottles on board ? I read it’s forbidden on oosterdam…?
It was no problem at all we brought them on at most ports and they never said a word 👍
