We were on Oosterdam over Christmas and New Year and we booked a 22 night cruise for Christmas and New Year 2026/27 on the first day the cruise went on sale and it was a no brainer to have the have it all package, as we booked a verandah cabin the Have it all package was amazing we got $800 per person on board credit, $300 shore excursion credit, Crew appreciation is included, the drinks package, WiFi, 3 visits to the speciality retaurants. The extra cost of the Have it all package was more than covered by the OBC and Shore excursion credit so we thought it was excellent value and we also got an low deposit as part of the offer which was £180 each. We weren't going to book this far in advance but the deal was far to good to miss out on. when we got home the HAL cruise consultant who was assigned to us when we got home was shocked by what we had got.

Hi Cedric in UK ,well we have been cruising for the last 30 odd years so we’ve been round the block a few times, Now that we are in our 70s we have done A lot of other ships some good and some not so good 🤔,After hearing about Oceana we were thinking of going on it just for change as we like Azamara we are on it in May for the 8th time which we love 🥰,the staff are lovely and the entertainment for a small ship is lovely,With what you have said about Oceana we will pass ,the ship is identical to Azamara, also drinks are buy the sound of it cheaper ,on Azamara and all you people out there the one thing we love is the White/Party🎉 , with what goes with-it is a Barbecue like you have never seen before (you are i for a treat O BOY) .If you are thinking about a cruise you will not be disappointed.BUT do your homework on what ship ,with Utube you can walk around the ship with the ,videos ,sorry for rambling on its an age thing 🫢.were ever you go Enjoy 🛳🛳🛳🥂🥂

I am amazed at how spoiled you two must be. I sailed on Oeania's Insignia and was completely satisfied with the friendliness and politeness of the staff. I'll bet you have a chef and housemaid at home.

There is a business class lounge at the B gates which is much quieter and nicer and if your flying out of not c gates I would always use. You don’t have to go through security and it’s 5 mins on train. I always check why plane it is before booking any flights for the seat configuration as I hate those seats on BA. The new club seats are much better. Use seat guru to check what planes are and peoples comments x

If you walk back to the lounge (instead of taking the T5 train) there's no need to go through security again.

Please continue your process of describing the dishes without subjecting us to watching you eat on camera. I am not certain where folks have gotten the idea that it is required, but unless you’re Julia Child tasting it to ensure she prepared it properly, we can take your word for it afterwards that it was tasty. Or not.

Traveling on Oceania for the first time this year and I really appreciate you breaking down the differences in the House Select vs the Prestige Select as well as noting the cost (plus tax and gratuity if not on one of these plans) to justify the cost of a plan. Have enjoyed your videos and become a subscriber. There is only one thing I’d challenge and that’s your comment about tipping. I understand you want to show appreciation and special recognition for special staff but you are spoiling this for others. You are driving up the cost of cruising. I’m sure staff on luxury ships enjoy a higher standard of remuneration than other lines. And your tipping disproportionately rewards staff that are able to make tips as compared with the below deck staff who work as hard but lack opportunity. Just my opinion.

Chef mentioned that they have to buy from approved suppliers for food (to ensure hygiene standards and food quality are met) yet he DOES buy locally - eg mentioned that he’d bought mussels that day - I wonder how he ensures that these local suppliers meet the cruise line’s hygiene and quality standards - i mean imagine if the mussels were contaminated and people got food poisoning? If I may ask you - we are considering a cruise on the Regent Grandeur (which we have sailed on before) for the “English Channel Icons” cruise June 6, 2026 - June 16, 2026. Just wondered your thoughts on the itinerary of : Southampton to Saint-Malo, La Rochelle, Bordeaux and Biarritz France, as well as Bilbao and La Coruna Spain, plus Cruising the Bay of Biscay. Any thoughts appreciated by the two BEST! :)

Hi Stuart & Christina, so sorry you had a bad experience in Heathrow. It's always quieter in the lounge at the B gates so use that if you are not flying out of the A gates. There is walkway below the train that you can use to get back from the B & C gates which avoids having to go through security - unfortunately it's not well signposted ! WRT the change of plane - this is a massive problem at the moment with A380 flights due to the many problems with the reliability of these aircraft since they came out of storage after the pandemic. Best to choose a flight that runs on the new A350 or old B777 - you'll also stand a better chance of getting into the new Club Suites seats which are brilliant compared to the old Yin/Yang seats that you ended up in.

As you started the flight from Malaga do you live there or did you take a return flight form LHR to Malaga and then transited through LHR for your flight? If so did you stay in Malaga or just go out and come straight back?

Yep typical BA - crap and certainly not worth the money-thank goodness you didn’t pay £5K+ to fly directly from LHR!

You should’ve been advised to use the B gates lounge… I’m not a fan of the ying yang seats rather. Safe travels!

I have no clue why they sent you back on the train, absolute disgrace. My only guess is that the staff member that told you that was brand new, and even then that is a terrible thing to happen. I would love to know if they forced you to go through the passport e gates and then go around again through security or if you were just able to go through some sort of short cut. After all people make that mistake every day but its not normally because a staff member told them to do that. BA's lounges are always busy due to the large number of status holders, on the one hand its good that its not too difficult to gain access but then that causes the problem of overcrowding. I imagine there not staffed to the level they need to be for that number of passengers. Lets be honest, its a real gamble flying with BA. They can either be excellent or absolutely awful, and the whole scuffle with the changes to their loyalty scheme is the icing on the cake. Its taking them ages to role out their new business class seat, and their old one is an antique at this point. The A380, which is generally considered a great aircraft to fly on, is probably the worst in BA's long haul fleet in business class. Anyway great video and I hope you enjoy your cruise!
