If you get an early booking You will get the elite beverage $15 package the best wi-fi and paid crew gratilities Specialty rest. and shore excursions so it pays to book early.
day trip without wifi or drink package. Never again! I drink a lot of speciality teas/coffees as well as alcohol. But by prepaying you get wifi, specialty restaurant credits, shore excursions as well as prepaid gratuities. We think they are well worth it as we don't take cruises less than 14 days.
I've done 'Have it all' before, and I do agree, pre-booking it is less expensive. Specialty coffees with bailey's counts as two drinks. It's a great value to get the package. Thank you for summing up all of the drinks!
You can find a reasonably priced cruise but once you start adding on the extras even if you go basic still drink package, dining extra, gravity Appreciation tips per day, 18% tax on all alcoholic drinks, and excursions can get costly per port thats a personal choice. Remember you also should have travel insurance and medical coverage as well and it's charged in USA currency if you're on the ship as well. The HIA package for 2 weeks buying ahead of time is still $55.00P/P per person per day in USA funds ( $944.00 Canadian dollars ) thats an extra cost even with the 2 dining experiences and $200.00 each for excursions and gratuity included and WiFi use. I can fly to another continent from Canada for the 2 weeks at pretty well the same cost as a 2 week cruise hard to justify taking one for that simple reason initially the base price looks good but once you add the extras on the price goes up dramatically in my opinion.
We purchased the have it all and it was definitely worth it. Although on our cruise they literally ran out of canned water and Perrier!! It was extremely frustrating searching from one bar to the next for water. We should of complained at guest services considering we had paid for the drink package. I planned on taking canned water on my excursions and to have plenty in our room. On our last day they loaded canned from port. A bit late!!
On my one HAL cruise I took the HIA as well as Club Orange. Well worth it! We are usually on Viking or Oceania so it seemed a bit more premium on HAL that way. We went on the NS as well and really enjoyed it but I wouldn’t want to go on any larger ship. Also went in Oct. so minimal children.
We usually get the early have It all package that is 60 % off plus pays the grat fees , upgrade on wifi , and all the other stuff plus a we are orange club members
I love HAVE IT ALL, it about the same price as a drink package alone on the budget lines. I only drink 1 glass of wine per night at home, and 2-3 drinks on the ship, and am still well ahead.
Hubby and I opted in for the HIA on our summer Boston to Montreal MS Volendam cruise. I'm glad to see we did. We decided on the Pinnacle restaurant for the first night, as it's also our 39th anniversary. I just took a look at what was included and was surprised to see pre-paid crew appreciation promo.
I’m sailing on the Konigsdam in a few weeks, it’s my understanding they have a whiskey bar aboard. We took the have it all as well (prebooked). Because our cruise is 22 days we get $300 in excursion credits and 3 dinners plus the liquor and water/pop in our package. The free gratuities is only on shorter trips, we have to pay the end of trip gratuities. They are included with our 15 drinks per day though.
Well done - enjoying your vlogs! We purchase the HIA package every one of our HAL cruises - it's one of the better packages offered by any cruise line, especially when they periodically include gratuities.
This was an excellent and timely video- my brother, just this morning, sent me a link to a Alaskan cruise tour for next May,with this ‘Have it all package’ free, so it was great hearing all the ins and outs of what is included. Now, on to watch your other videos- you are both so elegant and well spoken in your presentation, it was a pleasure watching you. Thank you…
we took our first alaskan cruise and had it all , you may or may not indulge every day but i felt it was a better to have and not want and want and not get , we enjoyed it all that’s for sure
Very fair and informative video. We are on a 35-day cruise in February/24 and purchased the Have It All package for a number of reasons. We get 3 Specialty Dining restaurants, $300 USD/person for Excursions, WIFI and the Signature Beverage package. For the length of our cruise, having many sea days and port days that we could take advantage of the excursion allowance, we felt that it was to our advantage to purchase this package. It was an easy decision for us.
I have this package for a future cruise but it does not include the Elite & I cannot see a way to upgrade. How did you manage to get the elite included?
Just found your channel, loved your video about HIA!!! Did an NCL this year , but will head back to HA for our next cruise. Looking forward to seeing some of your other videos and I have subscribed 😊
The standard internet is not that great, but we upgraded to the higher package and for the first 2 weeks it was great, then for some reason it wasn’t so great for the 2nd 2 weeks. Think they had a problem but hopefully now it’s fixed! 🥂Have a great cruise 🚢
I booked several excursions, but have not signed up for the Have It All Package. Do you know, if I sign up for the package, will I get a 'refund' or do I have to sign up for another excursion, to get the credit? Thanks
Hello friends. I am setting up a UA-cam channel called 62 or better. I want to focus on travel for newly retired seniors that still have the energy to go on a cruise! I have an iPhone 13 and a wireless blue tube microphone called Lance Z. What other equipment do you think I should bring along?

Another tip is to get your top shelf whiskey during happy hour when they reduce the price by 50%
That's a good one. Thanks

I really like this conversation format! Makes relaying info so easy for us all to understand
Thanks that means a lot 🙏❤️

Thank you. Very informative!
Thank you. Have done the Have it All last time, laughed at what we had to drink, but managed well. Going again in a couple months, did it again!
Appreciated the very informative and thorough video.
Nice job. I think the Have it All is an absolute no brainer.

Thank you I’m a travel agent and I hadn’t yet booked anyone on HA but now have a request and you helped me immensely to promote this feature.
We are travel agents too! Glad to help! ❤️

Plus you can get fresh-squeezed orange juice during breakfast.
Not anymore! The fresh squeezed orange juice and the milkshakes at the Dive In are no longer included in the HAL. 😢

Good decision! Have a fantastic cruise! 🚢🎉❤️
We booked the have It All Package, this included the Elite Beverage Package, the max price included is $ 15/ drink

How big are the glasses of wine - small, medium or large. 😄
Thank you
We were on the Nieuw Amsterdam to Alaska in June and we got the HIA pkg and it was well worth it. Love the channel, just subscibed.
Many thanks for the lovely comments ❤️🙏

Thanks for the great comments. We are boarding a Regent Seven Seas Cruise the day after tomorrow so more videos to follow! ❤️
We love speciality coffees and sparkling water... so it will be worth it for us 😂
How about Maker's Mark Bourbon?
Great info- thanks so much!
Thanks for watching ❤️
Do sodas count against the drink limit in "Have it All?"
I will be taking this cruise next week. How is the internet conection?

@@theposhtravelblog Thanks a lot for your reply!
DO sodas count against the 16 drink total?
Yes they do
My cruise info on this ship showed +18% gratuity. Not sure if that is added to total cost of package or per item as it goes.
Absolute no-brained. It’s a total bargain!
I booked several excursions, but have not signed up for the Have It All Package. Do you know, if I sign up for the package, will I get a 'refund' or do I have to sign up for another excursion, to get the credit? Thanks
Very useful thank you. Doing our 30th cruise this summer, but first on HAL, no idea what to expect, so have done the HIA
Lee George Hall Ruth Garcia David
Question - Can the 15 drinks be shared between the couple, say 20, 10 or is it 15 /person?
It is 15 per person, as long as the other person orders them though they won’t stop you drinking them 🤩
If one person in the room has have it all the second must too
Every time you order with package , is gratuity included ?
Yes on the drinks
Don't they serve water with meals in the Dining Room?
Yes they serve the ships water with meals 🤗
@@theposhtravelblog Thank you!
