This is my kind of videos Id like to watch. Outdoor natural gardens even the background sound is so fitting. So many new plants I learned today. GREAT WORK!👍
This is one of my favorite gardens. It is so beautiful. I love going there every time I am in Thailand. It’s a great place for photography. Mr. Piyakaset, I love your passion for plants and this garden. Thank you for featuring this garden.
Wow! …. Wow! Mr. Sean the tour was great but the encore was - wonderful - for lack of a better word. The Nipple plant and the Aristolochia Gigantea…. AMAZING pollination process! Truly jaw dropping. Manifestation of So much intelligence. Most of us westerners will never see these amazing plants thriving in real life. Thank you so much for sharing!
Nature's masterpiece! 😍🌿 Each plant is like a work of art, showcasing the stunning diversity and beauty of the natural world. Such a soothing and inspiring sight to behold. 🌸🌱
Wow! I am glad you got to experience the fun of Impatiens 'Touch Me Not' seed pod exploding in your hand. Absolutely beautiful tour of the Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden. The split leaves of Bauhinias (Orchid Trees) are cardioid shaped leaves. The leaves, fruit and bean seeds are edible. Not all of the Bauhinias (trees) and the closely related Phaneras (lianas) have "butt" shaped leaves. :)
This was a wonderful tour! I visited these gardens back in 2002, but without the benefit of a botanist guide. It is too much to take in in one visit!! Really amazing place. Thank you!
Wow! It was like I was right there with you, experiencing these plants in person! So many new plants for me, really an adventure! A new world, thank you! In as not a creepy way as possible, your arm(s) in the thumbnail and video look 💪🏽 strong. You look great!
I just loved that newly discovered Thai fern - so pretty with its soft and more upright round leaves. So cool - I love ferns. Amazing tour - worth watching a second time to take it all in. Thank you so much for taking us along, it was a pleasure to listen to two plant enthusiasts having a fun and enlightening discussion.
What a beautiful episode Sean the expert is amazing kind plant genius..what a privilege to have toured with you in an exceptional beautiful queen SiriKit s garden..
This adventure reminded me of the beauty of the mountain where I used to live in the northern part of the Philippines till i was 17yrs of age before we moved to Canada. I loved nature but was young then and placed more attention to friends instead😂. But this video is really inspiring me to have a deeper appreciation of things specially with plants. Thanks Sean.
this was a very interesting and unusual - i very much enjoyed the chance to learn about the rare plants of Thailand and to have such an expert guide many thanks :)
Way to go! Just watched ABC Gardening Australia special... you're a natural! Was such a pleasure to see a familiar face on there, even though it's only me that knows you from your UA-cam channel. Hope there's more to come. Very well done!
Amazing, the variety. Thank you for bringing this to the world. Although they may not grow in Alabama, USA. I’m excited to try some begonias on limestone instead of standard potting soil and container 👍
On limestone, the begonias may need higher humidity to extract moisture from the air. Although Ive seen begonias grown outdoors on walls in subtropical Taiwan 😀
Thank you. And yes he is the director at the botanic gardens for decades! Summer visited him many years back. So glad he kept his work and passion alive all these years.
Thank you so much! I particularly likedthe addendum but the main was great also. I love seeing you do these videos that take the viewer to a place we never see here in NYC.
Now I need to start thinking of impatients as trees. There were many plants that I had never seen before. This is a beautiful place. I’m adding it to my list of place to see.
Impatiens are maybe dwarf trees instead of full blown ones. I saw lots of shrub height ones in the tour that I didnt film 😀 they are actually very diverse and interesting!
Hello, O'my gosh absolutely beautiful & enjoyed him explaining everything with so much knowledge. On my journey now to find a Hoya Globulosa..Thank You
You need to make a few more videos of this garden. I would love to see more of the different houses. Particularly the bromeliads and the tropical greenhouse.
Thank you, for bromeliads check out the singapore national orchid gallery episode, they have a cool bromeliad house too and I spend a bit of time there 😀

Hey Sean, i have a plant that i can't seem to identify. Even the person i got it from doesn't know for sure and was wondering if you'd like to try to identify it? The variegation is crazy and would really like to know what the name and species it is. I can send pics of juvenille and mature if so. 🙌🏽🙏🏽
@onlyplants thanks for the reply Sean! I have been trying with the juvenile and mature form, unfortunately it always just pops up a general philo search. I like your content and format and thought I'd try asking you for advice. Your guess is as goof as mine lol. But I do think it is a Philippine type plant if that helps for starters

Do give it a try with google lens first, if it fails you can DM me the pics at @bo.tan.ist but theres no guarantee I’ll know what it is 😀

Was that a real rafflesia in the tropical forest greenhouse (32:47), or was it a plastic one?
It was plastic 😅
"It looks like a butt", "Orgasm in you hand", I think I know why this channel is called onlyplants 😂
